Question: Why is the movie called 21 grams?

Chosen answer: It's called this because supposedly at the time of death everyone loses 21 grams of body weight. Sean Penn's character does a monologue near the end of the movie that goes into this theory.

Answer: The title refers to an experiment in 1907 which attempted to show scientific proof of the existence of the soul by recording a loss of body weight (said to represent the departure of the soul) immediately following death. Referred to as the 21 grams experiment as one subject lost "three-fourths of an ounce" (21.3 grams), the experiment is regarded by the scientific community as flawed and unreliable, though it has been credited with popularizing the concept that the soul weighs 21 grams. (Wikipedia).

Question: What are the two muscle cars used in the film?

Chosen answer: The blue car with the white stripes is a 1969 Chevy Camero with a yanko engine. The orange one is a Dodge Hemi Challenger.

Question: Why doesn't Anakin wear the normal or really traditional Padawan outfit?

Chosen answer: There is no Jedi 'uniform' as such - Jedis tend to wear variations on a given look rather than going for a regimented appearance. Anakin has presumably chosen his costume himself - it's quite an extreme variation, but could be seen as along the same lines.

Question: I heard that Chris Columbus isn't the director of PoA. Is he or the other director of PoA, going to direct HP 4?

Chosen answer: Neither. Mike Newell (Mona Lisa Smile, Four Weddings and a Funeral) will direct Goblet of Fire.

Question: Frodo is pricked by Shelob in the torso. However he is at the time wearing a mithril coat which are supposed to impervious. How is he stabbed then?

Chosen answer: The stinger actually comes in quite high, presumably above the rather low neckline of the mithril coat. An injury can be seen high up on his chest later in the film, presumably the stinger wound.

Question: In this episode, Catherine says, "I think I know the word that made her throw her coffee," and Sarah says she hates that word. While I could take a few educated guesses, I'm not sure what word they mean and I can't tell from Croft's mouth movements either. Can someone enlighten me?

Chosen answer: I believe that she is referring to the 'C' word.

Question: Does the Congressman know a different route to the same spa Elle goes, and how is it they arrive at the same time?

Azureth

Chosen answer: There are umpteen different scripts for Alien 3 available on the net, some of which are very different to what was eventually made - some of the early ones are set in a monastery, rather than the prison colony that was eventually used.

Question: Just before Lebracio goes to the subway to find the ghost of Billy Mahoney, he crosses the street and about a dozen bicyclists come whizzing past him. Was this a hallucination? If so, why would he have a hallucination like that? If it wasn't a hallucination, what the heck are a bunch of racing bicyclists doing on a wet street that late at night?

Matty Blast

Chosen answer: No hallucination. It was Halloween night, so everyone was acting a little crazy. That's why one of the med students shows up in a skeleton suit. Going further, the 'hum' of the bikes were used not only to throw the viewer off as the same humming noise Nelson describes with coming back from the dead, but to confuse Nelson with death and reality and these new sensations/feelings he is experiencing since being brought back to life. The cyclists are used, in a sense, to scare Nelson and viewers. The same 'hum' can be heard when Nelson first finds Billy Mahoney in the dingy tunnel.

Question: What is the music on which Billy dances when he is auditioning at the end of the film? It doesn't figure on the soundtrack.

Chosen answer: It's called 'I Will Dance' by Stephen Warbeck.

Question: What happened to Josh Hartnett's character after H2O? They never mentioned him in Halloween 8.

Chosen answer: We do not know what has become of him. Most likely he is just attending college, and Michael has yet to find him.

He got killed by Michael because the clown mentioned that he killed 4 students that attended Hillcrest Academy. But I don't know.

Answer: I read somewhere that he changed his name to Zeke, or something. Relocated to Ohio, or somewhere. And started dealing drugs at a high school. He also had a thing with his English teacher, she bore a startling resemblance to a Bond henchwoman. He didn't seem to be dating Molly.

Alan Keddie

Question: In the beginning of the sushi restaurant scene, two monsters walk in and everyone yells, "Get a paper bag." What's that about?

Chosen answer: In Japan, it's traditional for staff to say "irasshaimase" when customers enter a store or restaurant. This particular scene is a reference to that - while "irasshaimase" doesn't sound much like "get a paper bag", the cadence is not dissimilar, so it's quite plausible that the phrase has gradually mutated over the years through the mistakes of monsters who haven't been listening properly.
