Question: What did VOX mean when he said that to find the Morlocks' lair, that Alexander would have to follow the breathing?

Answer: He's referring to the sound that the Morlocks' machinery makes from underground.

raywest

Answer: Why would she? There was no motivation for her to do so.

Brad

Answer: I was wondering this too - surely on Rapunzel's first birthday Mother Gothel would have noticed the fuss the King and Queen made and decided to move it by a few weeks next time.

Question: The Jackal shot Koslova just one time. Why do we see two bullet wounds on her shirt?

Answer: It's not known if it's a bullet wound or just blood that somehow was transferred to that part of her shirt. She was bleeding heavily and moving around quite a bit when she is first shot.

Question: Even though she was more focused on trying to transform her mother back into a human, is it possible Merida was able to apply the same magic to her brothers? If so, then how?

Answer: By reconciling the rift with her mother, the brothers (who were under the same spell) were transformed back when Elinor was.

Question: When Hobbs realises that Dom and Brian left him with an empty vault, Hobbs has a flashback of Leo and Santos loading the real vault onto a truck. My question: was that really a flashback (did he really see it take place and forget?) or was it like Dom's image of Letty's death when he and Mia are at the crash site in Fast Four and not 100% accurate, since he didn't know what Letty's killer looked like yet?

Answer: Hobbs doesn't see that scene, though he probably does guess part of what happened - ie. that they swapped the vaults. The scene is played as a reveal for us, the audience, to show us how the vault that is supposed to be full of money is now suddenly empty.

roboc

Question: While the triplets distract Fergus and the lords with the dead frog they use to form a bear shadow, one of them also roars into a pot to imitate a bear. It that a reference to "A Bug's Life" (1998) when Dot screeches like a bird into a horn while she, Flick, and the girl scout ants fly the fake bird?

Answer: No, it's just a common method for increasing the volume of your voice.

Question: Where do humans get their power from, like electricity? Because there is no sun and I know they're like a big furnace thing, but surely there are no resources left because there is no sun. Also, life cannot be sustained without sunlight, so the film is flawed. But I still love it.

Answer: Zion runs on geothermal energy, drawn from deep within the Earth. Given the advanced technology of the future, it seems entirely reasonable that they could produce enough food to keep Zion fed using artificial lights and hydroponics techniques. Life might not be overly pleasant, but it would be sustainable.

Question: Why does Jack say 'nervous' to Rose while they're in the car about to have sex? It's like they've planned it?

Answer: Whether or not it was planned, the first time can be awkward. They are also in a less than ideal situation, knowing that Cal will seek retribution if he finds out.

Question: What are the guns the guards in the agnate facility are using? I've been trying to get a good shot, but I just can't find one. I've also checked IMCDB, which usually has an awnser to that question, but they don't have it either.

Friso94

Chosen answer: If you're referring to the guns that shoot mini grappling hooks, I'm fairly certain that those guns haven't been invented yet.

Brad

Question: In the car racing scene between Stuntman Mike, Kim, Zoe, and Abby, I am confused as to why the car chase lasted so long. Couldn't Kim have simply slowed down gradually and shot Stuntman Mike? I mean, we hear her in an earlier scene talking about her gun and we see her shoot him after stopping. Why keep driving fast with your friend in danger and mess up the car that isn't yours?

sunfox35

Chosen answer: Because there wouldn't be a car chase if she stopped. It's all part of the fun.

THGhost

Question: During the fundraiser, Bruce Wayne points at Dent and says, "He is the face of Gotham's future." However after the blast, Dent becomes Two Face. Did Nolan suggest that after the events of the movie, Gotham is going to be like Two Face, i.e. good and evil together?

vicvil

Chosen answer: That's the sort of question that will no doubt form the basis of a thousand college essays. Yes, the line could be a remark on a split Gotham, with good and evil in equal measure, its also a foreshadowing of Dent's fate to become TwoFACE in the FUTURE.

The Apartment - S7-E3

Question: If Mrs. Slocombe had squatters in her new flat, why didn't she simply call the police and have them removed?

Answer: That wasn't possible in 1972. Until recently squatting was a civil offence in the UK, not a criminal one, and removing squatters was a complex and time consuming business.

Question: In "Underworld Evolution" Tanis said (to Kate and Michael) that Viktor killed Selen's family in Winter when Lucian escaped with the key from the castle. But in this movie, Viktor at the end goes into the hibernation chamber. How possible? Is this a continuity error?

Miltonfine

Chosen answer: He's badly injured, so he goes into the hibernation chamber to heal. Doesn't mean that he's staying in there for hundreds of years; he could easily emerge as soon as he's healed up and kill Selene's family off.

Tailkinker

Question: Why is it that the only time Jasper has a Southern accent is when he is telling his story to Bella?

sunfox35

Chosen answer: Jasper is feeling a bit nostalgic and melancholic as he tells Bella about his former human life, causing him to slip back into his previous self a bit.

raywest

Question: What will happen once Fergus catches his sons stowing away on the lords' ships?

Answer: He'll gather them onto his own rowboat, probably chastise them all the way back to shore, then they'll likely run off completely unfazed as soon as they reach land. And that'll be an end of it.

Question: I don't understand why Felix and Bond meet for the first time in Casino Royale, because they meet for the first time in Dr. No. I know that Casino Royale is a reboot, but you still cannot meet someone for the first time twice.

liamk97

Chosen answer: Well, the fact that it's a reboot answers the question. Ignore Dr. No. It has no relevance to Casino Royale, because as far as this movie (and its sequels) are concerned, the other Bond films never happened. Bond and Felix can meet for the first time in this movie, because they've never met before. Ever. Period.

Brad

Chosen answer: Five times. The first time is when the Griswald's leave the house because the luggage hit the garage roof (00:09:05). The second time is going into the motel. The third time is about half way through the movie where two bags fall off the station wagon (00:49:00). The fourth time is when the station wagon flies off the closed road where every single bag falls off due to the crash (00:50:35). The fifth time is in the scene where Aunt Edna dies and Clark stops the car immediately where all but one bag falls off (01:02:30).

Casual Person

Question: Was Edward Walker married? Is that why he wasn't allowing himself to touch Alice Hunt? I noticed that there is a Tabitha Walker in the credits, but it doesn't seem clear in the movie.

Answer: Yes, he is married. He is thought to secretly be in love with Alice Hunt, but he is faithful to his wife, Tabitha, and that is why he never allows himself to touch Alice in even the the most platonic manner.

raywest

Are we sure Tabitha isn't his sister? She sure doesn't ever act like Ivy and Kitty's mother. She looks a hell of a lot like Edward Walker, and seems upset like a daughter, not a daughter-in-law, when they reminisce about the slain father. Also, this would make the whole Walker/Alice Hunt relationship much purer, much more hopeful (themes of the film), as it isn't going behind anyone's back. I wonder if there's a deleted scene that made it clear Tabitha's relationship to Mr. Walker?

Answer: Ivy refers to her parents which indicates that Mr. Walker has a Mrs. Walker which is Tabitha Walker. She is his wife and not his sister. She is referred to as his wife in one of the elder meetings early in the movie too.

Question: When the killers use the Ghostface voice changer, how come the person they're calling can't hear their normal voice? I imagine they would talk out loud into the changer, so why can't the victims hear both voices?

Answer: 1) They held it right to their mouths. 2) They talked normally and the voice changer projected it louder than their regular voice.

Question: The morning after Tina's death, when Nancy is walking to school, she looks behind her and sees a man in black standing on the corner. Does anyone know who he is?

Answer: He's a cop, her father is having her followed hoping she will lead them to Rod, who they believe killed Tina.
