Question: What song plays while Montel is driving away after killing his "uncle"?

Chosen answer: Figure.09 by Linkin Park

T Poston

Question: Is John Rhys-Davies really that small? If not, how did they make him look like a dwarf?

Chosen answer: No he is not small. As a matter of fact he is the tallest actor of the Fellowship. He had a scale double, Brett, who did much of the work involved in all three films. In many shots, where it was really John portraying Gimli, it was simply a 'trick' of the camera, through depth perception, allowing the viewers to think he was that small. This 'trick' of the camera was used for the Hobbits as well, who all had scale doubles too. Peter Jackson also had small sets built that were duplicates of the large sets in order to achieve the effect properly.

Question: In this movie Ashton goes back in his life to change the past. In his final "time travel" he goes all the way back to when he was a kid to tell Kaylee to stay away from him. This means that she would never make contact with him, the events with her and her brother would never take place, and since his lifeline is changed, he wouldn't have blackouts and he would have no need to write in his journals. But at the end of the movie it shows him throwing away all his stuff, including his journals, and setting it ablaze. If he changes his life, how could his journals have been written when there is no need for them? I'm a little confused about the whole journal thing so if someone could help me out, that'd be great.

Chosen answer: Evan had journals to record his whole life, not just the blackouts. He would still have them regardless of the blackouts.

Valhalley of the Dolls (1) - S6-E1

Question: In Australia, what was the song that was played during the Charmed ad? I think it is still playing for Valley of the Dolls, part 2. The add is the one where they change from comics to the actual actresses.

Chosen answer: I don't know about Oz, but in Britain on Living tv (the cable channel) the song used was "Are you gonna be my girl" by Jet.

Question: Is this movie going to have Doc Ock and Sandman, or Doc Ock and Lizard, or just one of them? I've seen two versions of the script. One with Sandman and one with Ock.

Chosen answer: According to the latest casting news, the only villan in the film is Dr. Octopus, played by Alfred Molina.

David Mercier

Question: Who wrote the music heard during the Neo vs Smith fight scene?

Chosen answer: Juno Reactor Vs. Don Davis wrote this and many of the fighting scene scores for the Matrix.

Question: What happened to the original poster with Roxy and Velma holding guns behind their backs? In all the more recent ones the guns are gone. Why?

Chosen answer: I have both the DVD and the soundtrack. On the DVD cover they have the guns, however on the soundtrack cover, their arms look like they have been cut out of the picture along with the guns. Possibly somebody thought that it was a bad influence, since many young people enjoy the movie as well.

Question: Does any one know what religion Jess and her family are?

Chosen answer: They are orthodox Sikhs.

Question: If Danny was meant to trigger the vault alone, was he meant to do all the stuff that Linus consequently did, like impersonate NGC personnel and swipe Benedict's access card? If so, how stupid was he introducing himself to Benedict when he knew he had to impersonate someone else and do all the stuff that Linus did in order to gain access to the vault with Yen? If the above is false than what was the point of Linus being in the operation and how else were they going to obtain the security codes for the elevator?

Chosen answer: The plan right from the beginning was to get Linus to do that part of the job - they just didn't tell Linus that so that he wouldn't have time to fret about it. Danny introduced himself to Benedict as part of the side-plot to get Tess away from him - he needed to be known to Benedict so that after the robbery he could ask the question that finally causes Tess to leave Benedict. The whole aim was to get Benedict to imprison him so that he couldn't subsequently be linked to the theft.

Question: The soldiers practically drag John Smith up the mountain to be killed. Why does he just lay down on the rock, when there's nothing keeping him there?

Chosen answer: He probably knows that if he tries to escape he'll be shot down by the Powahatans' arrows. He prefers dying with some kind of dignity rather than while running.

Question: What is the significance of the man in the Chipmunk costume with the man in tuxedo seen by Wendy in the bedroom ? What are they supposed to be doing?

eeyore0101

Chosen answer: In actuality, the significance behind this scene is explained in much greater detail in the novel. It is a dog costume, not a chipmunk costume, and the character in the book is referred to as the "Dogman." In the novel he chases Danny through the hotel, scaring him with absurd sexual threats. The man in the tuxedo is Derwent, a corrupt playboy and former owner of the hotel. The pair were former lovers, but Roger, the man in the costume, is desperate to continue the relationship. Derwent agrees at only one cost - Roger must dress in a humiliating dog costume, walk on all fours and bark. This all happened in the past and is being relived in this scene. The Dogman is perfoming fellatio on Derwent.

Question: There's a trivia entry already listed about where to find Matthew Lillard making a cameo, but I've heard that Rose McGowan (Tatum from Scream) is in the background in the opening sequence somewhere. Can anyone tell me exactly where?

Jon Sandys Premium member

Chosen answer: Rose is the girl in a deep-green shirt with blonde hair. She looks slightly shocked. You see her near the left center of the audience scene, right after the 2nd shot of Jada climbing/crawling onto the stage.

Answer: Although that audience member does bear a vague resemblance to Rose McGowan, wouldn't she have had her blonde hair dyed back to her natural brunette look? Just my opinion. I wanted to share with y'all.

Alan Keddie

Question: Can anyone tell me what Obi-Wan Kenobi means when he asks R4 to transmit a message to Coruscant? It's the "Care of the old folks home" bit which confuses me.

Chosen answer: It's a humorous reference to the Jedi Council.

J I Cohen

Question: Does anybody know why Mace Windu is the head of the Jedi council? It just seems as though there are or were better or older Jedi who surely would have rose to become head Jedi. I thought at first that he may have a high Midi-chlorian count, but it seems his is quite normal by Jedi standards. No wonder Count Dooku left, he waited until he was seventy and still didn't become head of the council!

Chosen answer: Mace Windu is not the head of the Council. Yoda, as Grand Master of the Jedi Order for all intents and purposes is head of the council, but each councillor is equal in terms of voting power. Though the councillors are all powerful force users, power seems secondary to wisdom as far as the selection process is concerned. Dooku left the Jedi Order not due to issues of rank, but because he had become disillusioned with the council.

Darius Angel

Question: What piece of music does Anderton start playing whenever he's analysing the Precog visions?

Chosen answer: It's Schubert's Unfinished Symphony (a.k.a. Symphony 8 in B Minor). Quite appropriate for watching events that have not yet finished.

Question: What's the Van Halen song Marty plays to his dad when he tells George he's Darth Vader?

Chosen answer: The song is called "Out the Window," not much longer than what you hear in BTTF. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmc6f2kCyLU.

Question: Would it have been at all possible for Ben Affleck to obtain the key to the janitors office in the train station and mail it to himself, as he was not allowed to leave the complex he was working in for three years?

Chosen answer: He could have got someone to obtain the key and bring it to him. The same goes for much of the other stuff in the envelope.

Xofer

Question: In the first classroom scene, what is it that Joey suggests to Mr Morgan that Kat should take "before she comes to class"?

Chosen answer: Her Mydol - pills to help PMS.

Question: At the beginning of the movie when you see pony boy and johnny go up to Dallas you can here music playing in the background. When ponyboy asks "what d'you wanna do?" and dally goes "Nothin' legal, man." it gets turned up louder. Does anyone know the name of the song and the artist? I think it's called Gloria but I'm not sure.

Chosen answer: That song is called Gloria and the artist who performed it is Van Morrison. Great song!
