Chosen answer: This is known as The Peter Principle - the theory that employees within an organization will advance to their highest level of competence and then be promoted to and remain at a level at which they are incompetent.
Question: If the Predators know that the Alien's skin won't be affected by their blood why don't they use the Alien skin as their armor?
Chosen answer: The trial Predators purposefully don't have access to Alien skin before they are dispatched to the trial. Each Alien has a fairly skeletal structure, meaning that it would be very difficult to skin enough Aliens to cover an entire Predator during the trial. Besides, they're not supposed to get close enough for the Aliens' blood to get on them - they're supposed to use the shoulder blasters in the chest.
Question: In the pilot episode, the wormhole physically travels to "capture" Quinn and bring him back to his own world, after his very first slide. How did the wormhole know where Quinn was?
Chosen answer: Remember at first Quinn's timer is working perfectly (it's only because they slide off the ice age world early that it begins to malfunction) & given Quinn's intellect he would have devised a way that he could open a wormhole near him so he wouldn't be trapped on that world for 29 years.
Question: Why is it at the start of the film when Gollum is being tortured, that the Orcs do not kill him when he has given them the info they want? Orcs are not the nicest of creatures, and we would expect them to kill for the sake of it. Any ideas?
Chosen answer: Orcs aren't the nicest creatures, no, but they will follow orders - presumably Sauron, for reasons of his own, wanted Gollum alive. Remember that it's never really made clear whether Gollum was set loose or he escaped. If it's the former, then Sauron must have some use for Gollum - most probably he figured that it wouldn't hurt having another agent out there looking for the Ring. If it's the latter, then Gollum simply broke out before the Orcs had a chance to kill him.
Question: Somewhere at the end of the show, a French man gets out of his car and shoots Chris Cooper several times. Who is he and why did he shoot Cooper?
Answer: He's one of the Treadstone agents. Conklin is executed on the orders of his superiors because the Treadstone project, under his leadership, has become a phenomenal liability. He's most likely the one remaining Treadstone agent we see in "The Bourne Supremacy".
Question: How was Sati able to create the sunrise/set at the end?
Answer: Sati is the "daughter" of two other programs, so it would make sense she was a program herself. Maybe she was created to supervise the sunset. Or she was just using her influence as a program in the matrix to create the sunset.
Question: Did Jessie James actually pay so Paul Walker would wear one of his t-shirts throughout the film?
Answer: No he didnt. They had him wear it so he would look like a racing fan.
Question: When Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall are sitting in the car at the dance, what is the humiliating secret that he tells her and she laughs at?
Answer: He tells her that he is a virgin. His friends think that he is a "stud" and has had sex when he hasn't.
Answer: He hasn't "bagged a babe."
Question: What is the title song (the one that comes in and all the friends are dancing etc.) who sings it and what is it called?
Answer: "I'll be there for you" by The Rembrandts.
Question: Just curious,does the space jockey have any relation with the Predator and what is their history?
Answer: The space jockey is another alien race entirely. Since the Predator movies didn't even exist when Alien was released and there were no creative links between the two series until Alien Vs. Predator, it is safe to say that the space jockey has absolutely nothing to do with the Predators.
Question: In one scene, the Predator is about to kill Weyland, but it uses its x-ray vision to look inside him and it sees something (bad lungs?) that makes it decide to spare his life. Can anybody tell me why the Predator at first spared Weyland's life and what it had to do with the x-ray?
Answer: The Predators have natural vision in the infrared range (they see body heat) and their helmets allow them different types of vision. The Predator detects something weak about Weyland's movements and decides to examine him more thoroughly with specialized vision. This reveals that he is dying of some lung infection. The Predator honor code deems that diseased individuals are not worth killing, so he pushes Weyland aside and continues forward. When Weyland attacks him, it becomes honorable to retaliate according to the code, so the Predator kills him.
Question: Why does Budd lie about his Hanzo sword to his brother, Bill?
Answer: Probably due to their recent "disagreement", as mentioned during their discussion. Since the sword was a present from Bill, it had should have had sentimental value. Budd is probably trying to make Bill think he no longer "cares" about Bill by showing little "love" for it. His way of making Bill feel bad for their recent "trouble".
Question: The music playing over the scene where Peter and Aunt May visit Uncle Ben's grave sound exactly like the music playing over the scene in x-men two when Wolverine gives Rogue his powers in order to save her at the end. Is it the same music?
Answer: Nope. The score for the two films is, in both cases, unique and were written by different people - the notable similarity is co-incidental.
Question: My friend said that some of the theme in the movie was not featured in the soundtrack especially the one where Harry blows up the bomb.Is this true and if it is ,then why?
Answer: There's only so much room on a CD. The soundtrack features the song tracks from the movie, and that only left room for one instrumental track.
There was also a score release for the film (without songs). Unsure whether the piece in question was included. It is typical for score releases to not include the entire film's score. As previously stated, CD space is limited in addition to commercial viability and composer/studio/ label interest. Score-centric labels sometimes release complete or extended scores. In the case of Armageddon, numerous bootlegs of the score have been available. Unsure whether Recording Sessions were leaked.
Question: In the trivia section, it is said that the movie editors made a video clip of Elijah Wood and Sean Astin to the song "I Got You". Can anyone please tell me where I could find this?
Chosen answer: The song on the video montage is "I got you babe." Just as the rest of the main cast received personal gifts, this was a personal meaningful gift to Sean and Elijah, at the wrap of the films and it is not for the general public.
Question: What was the whole point of killing and cloning the charter pilots in the first place? My first thought was that Decker wanted employees that were totally obedient and demanded no pay (after all, the clones would only have five years to live, and would then have to be cloned again), but considering that each cloning cost $1,3 million, it would be a lot cheaper and less risky to hire the pilots regularly. So why kill them?
Chosen answer: The company did not intend to kill and clone the pilots. The activist killed Drucker and Hank Morgan, they wanted to clone everyone that was killed so nobody would know it happened. The only reason they cloned Arnold was becasue they thought he was the pilot.
Question: I was just wondering,how they choose the audience? Do the people just go up and ask if they can be in the audience or id their some special criteria?
Answer: Behind the scenes documentaries show that it's just a case of getting to the studio very early and waiting in line for tickets, however, for the final episode made a specially selected audience made up of the cast's family members were the only ones allowed in, to conceal the surprise.
Question: If Cristoff wanted to get rid of Lauren/Sylvia, then why does he continue to show flashback scenes of her?
Question: Does anyone know if the new episodes of Family Guy will be on Cartoon Network or Fox?
Answer: FOX will air them first, but not until next year at the earliest. After that, I am sure Cartoon Network will reshow them in syndication shortly thereafter.

Answer: In the Christmas specials, David states the documentary crew stitched him up. In other words, he was made to look like an idiot by the way it was put together, but in actuality, he may not have been as bad as the documentary had made out. In addition, it's clear he let his upcoming celebrity status get to his head, something that would not have happened prior to the documentary crew's arrival. At the end of series 1, he mentioned one of his achievements was cutting expenditure without losing any staff.
