Question: What does Edward mean when he is in Bella's room and says that he's 'always wanted to try one thing' (or something like that)? It looks to me like he just kisses her, which he's done before.

Answer: Edward has never kissed Bella until that major bedroom scene in the movie. When he says he always wanted to try one thing, he means kissing her for the first time.

Question: I remember seeing a trailer for the movie, in which a human man is questioning an alien. The alien tells him that they just want to go home. I just watched the movie for the first time and that scene wasn't in there. Was it deleted for some reason?

Answer: This isn't actually remotely uncommon. Trailers are almost invariably released before the final edit for a movie is locked in place, so it's not at all unusual for shots in the trailer to be from scenes that ultimately don't make it into the finished product, or to be from alternate takes of scenes that do appear. As to why this particular scene was rejected, who knows, most likely was just for pacing, or they might simply have not liked some aspect of the acting or whatever.

Question: During the introduction to Woody's Roundup, as Woody watches himself come through the swinging saloon doors, the area around his holster appears blurry. Was this in keeping with the degraded quality of the tape footage, or is this censorship of a gun?

Answer: It isn't Woody's holster that's blurred, it's his hand. And yes, the blurred effect is due to the video tape's degeneration.

Question: I never understood this part of the movie, but can someone explain why the Bride is weeping and saying 'thank you' on the bathroom floor the next morning?

Answer: She's saying "Thank you" because she has completed her quest. Her tears are happy tears. She exacted her revenge on the people who hurt her and she now has her daughter; something she never expected as she assumed B.B. was dead.

The Mind of Evil - S8-E2

Question: Why does this serial only survive in black and white. If it was made in colour, why did the BBC have black and white copies in the first place?

Josman

Chosen answer: The reason this serial only exsists in black and white when it was recorded in colour is because in the 60's and 70's the BBC wiped and reused video tapes, some of which were Doctor Who. Luckily copies were made and sent to other countries, most of which didnt have colour TV's. These copies were later found and returned to the BBC archive.

Question: One of the corrections says that a particular scene is one of several hints throughout the movie that Dicaprio's character is having delusions about the whole thing. What other scenes shows evidence of this?

Answer: In the beginning of the film when the 2 Marshalls were coming of the boat - Teddy's partner had a hard time removing his gun from his holster when asked, which isn't in keeping with an experienced Marshall.

If you go back and watch the film again the women that writes ‘run' in his notepad ask for a drink of water but when she takes a sip of the water her hand is empty. I take it as another sign of andrew's delusional mind.

Question: Could you please tell me what the father is calling guacamole in the scene where Alex and Isabelle's parents meet? Alex's father says something about guacamole, and Isabelle's father says, "Now you insult (?) guacamole". I can't find what he says anywhere. Thank you.

Answer: "Now you're offending Amalia's guacamole! What's wrong with Amalia's guacamole?!"

I believe it says Mayan's guacamole. Not Amalia's.

No, Tomas says Amalia. Amalia is his wife.

Bishop73

Answer: Amalia is her mother... so yes he says Amalia.

Question: In the Vista Director's Cut version, inside the jacket where disc one goes, there is a picture of Josie and Wyatt at the creekside after their ride together, where Wyatt is on his knees hugging Josie's legs, while she is looking down on him and holding his shoulders. Where is this in the film? Or, what is the dialogue?

Forge04

Chosen answer: It's not in the movie anywhere. Many times when a disc is released, there will be a photo shoot for the jacket and inserts. They will often dress in the clothes, however they are not stills from the movie itself.

Question: What was the technicality that got Seth Baxter's sentence reduced from life to 5 years?

Russco

Question: Something I couldn't figure out. The black fluid (in the glass cylinder) made Wikus start turning into an alien. If the aliens were mainly interested in going back to their planet, why had they been developing a substance that could turn humans into aliens? How would this help them go home?

Answer: That's more of a side effect of the fluid. See, only the Prawns could use their technology; it was "genetically activated", so to speak. So the fluid which powers their tech is like Prawn-gene concentrate. When Wikus was sprayed with the stuff it affected his genetic makeup.

Question: Does the giant lizard Steed gives to Obi-Wan have a name, and if so what is it? (What type of creature is it?) Also where could I find a .wav or .mp3 of the sound it makes? Anyone, I will check back here in questions, or write me at emcinc@hotmail.com. Thanks.

emcinc

Chosen answer: The beast is named Boga and is a varactyl, an easily trainable herbivorous species native to Utapau. Should be enough information to track down a WAV file if one exists.

Question: I remember some early episodes that have Mr. Needles, a sick dog Angie takes from a homeless guy. When does he disappear from the series, and why?

Answer: His last appearance was in the episode "God Needles George. He had a tumor in that episode, but in the end was better, and that was the last appearance of him on the show. He was occasionally mentioned afterward, so it is assumed that they still had the dog for the rest of the series.

Question: Why did Han, Luke and Chewbacca destroy all the lights and electronics attached to the wall in the detention area?

glapp

Chosen answer: To attempt to cover their escape. They were destroying cameras and defense mechanisms, designed to defend the detention area in the event of an escape.

Question: Pixar movies have always shown to have adult themes. Was Buzz drunk during the Mrs. Nesbit scene?

Answer: There wasn't anything for him to get drunk on. He was just wallowing in self pity and frankly, his world had just fallen apart, so it's understandable that he'd act a little loopy as a reaction.

Garlonuss

Answer: He was simply depressed. You can tell because he snaps out of it as soon as Woody hits him.

Answer: He was apparently drunk on Darjeeling tea - Woody takes the teapot away, saying he's had enough.

Question: A question concerning Rex the dinosaur. His nervous personality, along with a few of the lines he says, ("I just can't take that kind of rejection." "I don't like confrontations!") are very similar to George McFly from Back to the Future. Is it possible that Wallace Shawn based his role of Rex on George McFly?

Answer: It's not out of the question, but it's more likely that both characters are simply examples of the classic insecure character.

Question: I was wondering. Does Sid destroy toys because his father beats/abuses Sid, so Sid lets out his anger on toys? This would explain all the locks on Sid's door, to hide from his father and to hide what he does to toys. When Scud is looking for Woody, he notices Sid's father sleeping, and Scud walks away, which could mean that Scud doesn't want to wake up Sid's father knowing he is a cruel and violent man.

Answer: This is a Disney/Pixar production, at no point are they intimating that kind of a relationship between son and father. If anything, the father simply doesn't care what his son gets up to so long as he isn't disturbed by it. Any other inferences you get from the movie are for you to contend with, but the family nature of the movie would suggest beating/abuse is not the answer.

GalahadFairlight

Question: What is the relevence of the time 8:49pm that appears at the start of the film?

Answer: I don't think the time is particularly relevant, except that its exactness is in stark contrast to the temporal and locational vagueness of the next statement which is "...Somewhere in the 20th century".

Question: Does Lana really love Brandon?

Question: When Russell becomes infected, he tells the sheriff that he has saved him three times, yet I've seen the movie twice and saw Russell only save him two times (when he unplugs the razor machinery in the morgue and shoots a crazy through the window). Did I miss the third one?

Answer: The third time is by not shooting him right there.

Answer: When Judy was tied up in her baby room after the sheriff stabbed the other mom in the neck.

Question: How could Brandon and Lana have gotten married if Brandon was really a she?

Answer: More and more U.S. states are legalizing marriage for same-sex couples. They may have planned to travel to such a state or had hopes their home state would soon legalize it.
