Question: I'm sure Tseng was killed in the game Final Fantasy VII. However he appears at the beginning and end of this movie. Does anyone know why he is still alive? I thought he was killed by Sephiroth in the Temple of the Ancients.

Chosen answer: Actually, you don't see Tseng die. Tseng is only cut by Sephiroth - if you talk to him he says something like "I am...... still alive......". It is the little talk from Elena which confuses so many people into believing that Tseng died - it's actually a mistranslation in the US and European Versions of the PS1 game. Elna says something like: "How dare you do that to my boss!", then: "But you really got guts doin' my boss in like that!" In the PC Version of the game this is correctly translated to "You got guts messing up my boss like that."

Question: Is the correct grail made of wood or metal? Was the comment "the cup of a carpenter" referring to the grail looking simple or the substance it was made of? It looks like gilded wood but makes a sound when picked up like it was metal.

Chosen answer: It is made of wood, possibly with a metal base. The line about it being the "cup of a carpenter" is primarily referring to the fact that it's simple and unadorned, but could also be interpreted to include the material.

Twotall

It was actually made of clay.

Question: When Isolde asks Tristan "how many have you loved before me and after me" does she mean how many he had slept with or how many he had loved?

Chosen answer: Both or either. Basically what she's asking is, "Are you really mine and no one else's?"

Earthshock - S19-E6

Question: In Earthshock, season 19, at the end of episode 3, the Cyber Leader views his troops marching down the corridor. Each column is headed by a Cyber Leader. Is this a mistake, or is there more than one Cyber Leader allowed per army?

Chosen answer: In 'The Five Doctors', three separate Cyberleaders are definitely used. So it's likely that Cyberleaders are like unit commanders, of which a fair-sized army might have several.

Backwards - S3-E1

Question: What exactly happened to Cat at the end of this episode?

Chosen answer: He had to use the toilet, but since they were in the Backward World, whatever he excreted would already be there, and go back INSIDE his body, which would be very disturbing.

Question: When Beast is in the mansion and says hello to Storm and Xavier, why does Professor X say "Henry you are always welcome here." I thought his name was Hank?

Chosen answer: Hank is a nickname for Henry, like Jack is for John.

Question: When talking about Kenickie's car, Sonny says: "The girls are gonna have to put out, before they get in." What does he mean?

Chosen answer: To "put out" is slang for a girl to give in to sex. A girl who is a slut or sleeps around will sometimes be referred to in such terms as "Betty puts out" (meaning she gives it up easily.) Here in Texas, at least in San Antonio, you still hear that phrase used commonly.

Luna Negra

Question: The Irish man uses the "F expletive" in one of his first scenes. Would that word have been in existence then?

Chosen answer: It might have as the word is very old. But since it has always been considered very obscene it doesn't appear much in written form (before modern time). The earliest written occurrence known is in a poem from before 1500. But regardless of whether the word existed or not; the dialog in Braveheart is in contemporary English, since 13th century Scottish would be impossible to understand for the average moviegoer. So it's not a mistake for a character to utter the f-word.

Question: Why doesn't Hank like Oklahoma? He makes jokes about the state and the people there.

Chosen answer: There is a long standing rivalry between Texas and Oklahoma, so being a loyal Texan he would make fun of Oklahoma.

Question: Why didn't Logan just cure Jean? Did she really have to die?

Chosen answer: Logan barely made it to Jean in one piece - only his healing factor's keeping him alive. Even if he had a vial of the 'cure', which he doesn't, then it would never have survived the onslaught that he has to walk through to get to her.

Question: If Norman Osborn owns Oscorp, why is it that the board members decide that the company is going to be sold? Shouldn't it be Norman's decision?

Chosen answer: No, that doesn't always follow. Osborn founded Oscorp, but that doesn't mean that he has sole control over the company. Presumably at some point in the past he's had to bring in outside investors, who have taken up seats on the board and have a degree of control over the company. If the directors, working together, possess a greater share of the company than Osborn himself does, then they can overrule him completely.

Question: What's the quote that Beast tries to say when he and Logan are fighting versus the mutants in Alcatraz? (The Churchill one)

Chosen answer: The full quote is taken from a book written by the US author Winston Churchill (not to be confused with the British politician of the same name) called 'Richard Carvel'. The full quote, spoken by a character in the book, is "I fear there are times coming, my lad, when every man must choose his side, and stand arrayed in his own colours".

Question: Why did Professor X have a shot at Logan in the lab after Jean took off? He said something like 'I warned you'. As far as I can see, all Logan did wrong was brush Jean's cheek - and Xavier never told him not to.

Chosen answer: Logan was upset with Charles for using mind control on Jean. When Jean escapes, Charles tells Logan this because now she is going to wreak havoc, proving the mind control was a necessary step after all.

Question: Is the dog's owner blind, or does he just have dark glasses? I'm asking because he said that he could have gone out to the yard and gotten the boys' ball if they had asked him, but how could he find it if he was blind?

Chosen answer: Yes he was blind but he probably would have had one of them come with him to find it. He was just a little annoyed that they didn't just come to the front door and ask, they broke into his backyard.

Disney-Freak

Question: Is there really a point to Arch-Angel being in this movie?

Chosen answer: This is answered in the trivia section; the original X-Men were Professor Xavier, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Beast, and Angel - they chose to include them all in this film.

Kimberly Klaus

Question: When the nuns perform for the pope at the end of the film, the pope is seated in the balcony. I was wondering if this would actually happen in real life. Wouldn't the pope be down at the front of the church to celebrate the Mass? I suppose he could have gone up to the balcony just for the singing but that doesn't make much sense.

Chosen answer: The Pope wasn't celebrating the Mass. He was just a guest.

Myridon

Question: Is there a reason for Storm creating a storm when the X-Men talk to the president or is it just to make the scene more "spooky"?

Chosen answer: The president is delivering a live address on television. The storm would make an excuse for the break in the signal.
