Other mistake: During the introduction of Attinger, he is holding cards of the Autobots explaining what happened to them. One such card is of Ironhide, listed as last seen in Chicago. X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
Question: In the dark future where Sentinels rule all, Xavier and Magneto say that in 1973, Mystique assassinated Trask and was subsequently captured, tortured and presumably killed, leading to the Sentinels' creation. All fine and good, except in a world where Mystique has been dead for 50 years, how did the other X-Men movies happen? Mystique played a large part in those films, and when young Xavier reads Logan's mind, he sees the events of X-Men 3 almost uninterrupted.

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011)
Plot hole: When Ethan meets the Secretary in the car, he tells him that Hendricks was seen leaving the Kremlin with the nuclear launch device and deduces that he is Cobalt. The Secretary then gives Ethan the flash drive containing his mission, which Ethan reads on the train. Ethan then tells the rest of the team that - according to the mission - IMF believes that Hendricks is Cobalt and was seen leaving the Kremlin with the launch device - hence why he needs to buy the launch codes from Moreau. How could IMF have known about this information to put it on the drive, given that Ethan just told the Secretary in the car?
Brad
Suggested correction: Ethan asks Brandt to identify the man he saw (Hendricks). Brandt explains that he is a nuclear physicist with extreme views ("he's crazy). Ethan then refers to him as "Cobalt." IMF always knew, or at least suspected, that Hendricks was Cobalt. Ethan simply confirmed that he was the man in the Kremlin.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Question: How did Dent figure out that Lau was dirty? Before the rooftop scene, where he yells at Gordon for not keeping him in the loop, there was never any indication that Dent was aware of Lau's dirty dealings.
Brad
Chosen answer: Lau transferred all the mob bosses' money to China and fled to Hong Kong, because he said the DA's office was about to raid the banks. So if Dent's office was keeping tabs on the mob accounts in preparation for the raid, they would have detected the transfers and linked them to Lau.

Chosen answer: Evidently she wasn't killed. It took the manufacturers of the Sentinels decades to create Sentinels that could adapt to mutant powers. They likely wouldn't kill Mystique as she would be more useful to them alive, and she probably escaped.
