Question: There is a scene in Sadako's video (ie. the death tape) which features some people crawling backwards. I have watched this film millions of times and cannot work out what it means. Does anyone know what it means or if relates to anything in the film? Does it even have a meaning?

Answer: The other answer is not correct, although you could take it that way if you wanted. The novel upon which "Ring 0" is based was not even out at the time, nor was the prequel even planned at the time this movie came out. So that's not really the answer, although you could retroactively try to connect the two. As for the actual question: the crawling figures are typically viewed as being representations of the victims of the volcanic eruption that Shizuko (Sadako's mother) predicted. Especially as they appear right after words like "eruption" appear onscreen. Or they can be viewed somewhat more nebulously as representations of Sadako's pain, or the pain her victim's feel.

TedStixon

Answer: It may relate to a scene in Ringu 0, which goes a bit more into Sadako's origins; in that film, Sadako is a normal girl trying to hold back the evil spirit within her. A large group of people chase Sadako past the well, but the evil spirit breaks out and Sadako kills them all; the crawling people could be them as they were dying.

Question: If Danny was meant to trigger the vault alone, was he meant to do all the stuff that Linus consequently did, like impersonate NGC personnel and swipe Benedict's access card? If so, how stupid was he introducing himself to Benedict when he knew he had to impersonate someone else and do all the stuff that Linus did in order to gain access to the vault with Yen? If the above is false than what was the point of Linus being in the operation and how else were they going to obtain the security codes for the elevator?

Answer: The plan right from the beginning was to get Linus to do that part of the job - they just didn't tell Linus that so that he wouldn't have time to fret about it. Danny introduced himself to Benedict as part of the side-plot to get Tess away from him - he needed to be known to Benedict so that after the robbery he could ask the question that finally causes Tess to leave Benedict. The whole aim was to get Benedict to imprison him so that he couldn't subsequently be linked to the theft.

Question: The soldiers practically drag John Smith up the mountain to be killed. Why does he just lay down on the rock, when there's nothing keeping him there?

Answer: He probably knows that if he tries to escape he'll be shot down by the Powahatans' arrows. He prefers dying with some kind of dignity rather than while running.

Question: Who wrote the music heard during the Neo vs Smith fight scene?

Answer: Juno Reactor Vs. Don Davis wrote this and many of the fighting scene scores for the Matrix.

Answer: It goes back to when she was human, just before becoming a vengeance demon. She used to love bunnies, but I guess afterwards she always associated them with her boyfriend cheating on her, and her turning into a demon. This is shown in the season 7 episode 'Selfless'.

Question: Would it have been at all possible for Ben Affleck to obtain the key to the janitors office in the train station and mail it to himself, as he was not allowed to leave the complex he was working in for three years?

Answer: He could have got someone to obtain the key and bring it to him. The same goes for much of the other stuff in the envelope.

Question: I'm no expert on figure skating, so could someone explain why Kate couldn't just become a single skater when she had trouble finding a partner to work with? (Her father says that they should have made her a single skater). To the untrained eye, the fundamentals of single and pair skating seem the same.

Krista

Chosen answer: One reason is that singles skating focuses on jumps. Pair skaters usually do side-by-side jumps like double axles and the easier triple jumps. Single skaters now do up to three triple jumps in a row - a skill that pair skaters do not work so hard to master and may set her back in competitions.

Question: In the scene where Will and Martin are at the "pink house", when Will puts his gun in the hole and shot the Haitian in the eye, how did Will know the Haitian was going to look through the hole, and when did he know when to fire?

Answer: He was looking through a tiny mirror he was holding in his hand.

Question: In the first classroom scene, what is it that Joey suggests to Mr Morgan that Kat should take "before she comes to class"?

Answer: Her Mydol - pills to help PMS.

Question: Sam and Nicky both refer to "back home" but they do not explain where it is . I thought it was Kansas City because that is where the bosses are, but it's revealed that they are only there because "its as close as they could get to Vegas without being arrested". Does anyone know where in America Sam and Nicky are originally from?

Answer: Frank Rosenthal (the basis for Sam Rothstein) and Tony Spilotro (the basis for Nicky Santoro) were both from Chicago, so that is likely "back home".

Question: What is the reason Michael tells Cameron his friends abandoned him for at the beginning of the film?

Answer: Michael says "Bogie Levenstein started a rumor that I...that I buy my Izods at an outlet mall."

Question: In this movie Ashton goes back in his life to change the past. In his final "time travel" he goes all the way back to when he was a kid to tell Kaylee to stay away from him. This means that she would never make contact with him, the events with her and her brother would never take place, and since his lifeline is changed, he wouldn't have blackouts and he would have no need to write in his journals. But at the end of the movie it shows him throwing away all his stuff, including his journals, and setting it ablaze. If he changes his life, how could his journals have been written when there is no need for them? I'm a little confused about the whole journal thing so if someone could help me out, that'd be great.

Answer: Evan had journals to record his whole life, not just the blackouts. He would still have them regardless of the blackouts.

Xofer

Answer: No he is not small. As a matter of fact he is the tallest actor of the Fellowship. He had a scale double, Brett, who did much of the work involved in all three films. In many shots, where it was really John portraying Gimli, it was simply a 'trick' of the camera, through depth perception, allowing the viewers to think he was that small. This 'trick' of the camera was used for the Hobbits as well, who all had scale doubles too. Peter Jackson also had small sets built that were duplicates of the large sets in order to achieve the effect properly.

Question: I don't remember the episode, but I think it was in season 6, there is reference where someone calls someone else "Tennille." Who's that?

Answer: It's from 6x25, TOW the Proposal: Part 2. When Joey enters Central Perk dressed up like a yacht captain and looking for Chandler, Rachel quips, "but you know who did stop in here looking for you? Tennille."
