Question: When Reese Feldman is on his yacht and shoots the guy for screwing up, he pulls a gun with a silencer out of a cooler. Why would you need a silencer in the middle of nowhere? (00:01:40)

Chosen answer: Feldman is the type of guy who wants to be as thorough as possible, as seen with his cocaine tasting like sugar and drug dogs being unable to smell it. He would not want any ships that could possibly be passing by to hear the shot.

Question: I read online that Mewtwo, Lugia, Entei, and Celebi are hidden in this movie. Can anyone tell me where they are?

Question: Loki is pacing in the prison on the helicarrier and just as he says "there aren't many people who can sneak up on me" Natasha is shown. In that shot half of her outfit is tan. at first i thought it was Loki's reflection in the glass but he isn't wearing anything tan. Can someone explain what's going on to me?

Fightergirlpan

Chosen answer: The cell has large glass windows connected by large white supports. It is one of these supports that you see dimly reflected against her black outfit which, along with the lighting, creates the effect that you describe.

Question: This has been a question that's always brought up. Was Ellie Grimbridge always a robot from the very beginning, or was she turned into (or exchanged with) one when she was held captive at the shamrock factory?

Gavin Jackson

Chosen answer: She was turned into one when she was captured. The robots didn't speak and if you notice that after he finds her, she never says a word. As well, she displayed genuine emotion throughout the film before she was captured, something the robots also never did.

I agree, she was a real person until she was captured. If she were a robot, I think Chalice would have found that out when they made love. Plus, as you mention, she had real emotions until her robot replacement was rescued.

Answer: Another theory might be that Ellie has always been a robot but an advanced model that Cochrane designed to interact with the outside world.

Question: (Not that I'm complaining or anything) but why was Violet wearing the outfits that showed off her belly? Did it have something to do with the loss of her unborn child?

Rydersriot87

Chosen answer: Simple sex-appeal, no plot significance.

Question: Arsenio Hall is credited for starring in this film. When does he appear and what character does he play? I have seen this movie multiple times and don't recall ever seeing him in it.

Carl Missouri

Question: What's the significance of the serum the werewolves use at the church?

Question: Why doesn't the Baron like the Baroness and keeps trying to get rid of her? I mean, if it wasn't for her and the law, he wouldn't get all the toys the Toy Maker makes, so why does he not like her?

Answer: He feels like she ruins all of his fun. He is kind of like a child and she is like his mother figure more than a husband and wife.

Chosen answer: It's called "Cold Out There" by Jon Hopkins.

Question: Was the storyline with Brenda based on actual or similar events of the real Frank Jr's life, or was it just added to show that Frank could never commit to a relationship while he was on the run, whether he wanted to or not?

Answer: The character of Brenda was based loosely on a stewardess he dated for a short time and who encouraged him to become a lawyer (he told her he went to Harvard Law School). They were never engaged.

Question: If Mrs. Slocombe had squatters in her new flat, why didn't she simply call the police and have them removed?

Answer: That wasn't possible in 1972. Until recently squatting was a civil offence in the UK, not a criminal one, and removing squatters was a complex and time consuming business.

Question: In Rocky V we learn that Rocky can't get licensed because of permanent brain damage. So how is it that, more than 15 years after the events of Rocky V, he is able to get licensed so easily?

Answer: Stallone himself answered this question in an interview. "When Rocky was diagnosed with brain damage he never went for a second opinion and yielded to his wife's wishes to stop. So with the advent of new research techniques into brain damage, Rocky was found to be normal among fighters and he was suffering the results of a severe concussion. By today's standards Rocky Balboa would be given a clean bill of health for fighters.

Question: When Merida is first seen riding her horse, we hear a song. Is that Merida's voice singing, or is that supposed to be a different voice? (01:33:00)

Answer: The singer is Julie Fowlis, a Scottish folk singer. Merida is voice-acted by Kelly MacDonald. Because the movie isn't in the same vein as other Disney movies like "Aladdin" or "Pocahontas" with characters singing part of the soundtrack, it would be reasonable to presume they're considered separate entities. The songs here are more to establish the atmosphere than to serve as "voices" for the characters.

Question: Why did Nate Scarborough need x-rays of the guards injuries?

Question: Just interested, but when the Mystery Men are rescuing Captain Amazing, how did Amazing know the sequence for the release mechanism and where it was if he was unconscious when he was put there?

Heather Benton

Chosen answer: In a previous scene with Casanova, Capt. Amazing and he have done this (capture & escape) a lot! So much so that Capt. Amazing would have been in that situation before enough times to already know the sequence code from previous times being captured (and escaping).
