Question: Looking at the Gremlin-filled theater, there seems to be a definite line between the last row of white seats and first row if red seats in the middle, as if two scenes were super imposed. Is this a filming error?
Chosen answer: There is a walkway in between those seats, hence why they are separated like that.
Question: In the episode where Spongebob loses his name tag in the dumpster... He says "pourquoi!" Later, there's a scenario of a bank robber wearing his name tag who yells out what I believe is "gattica!" I was wondering what they meant and why they said it.
Answer: 1) Pourquoi is the French term for "Why". SpongeBob was yelling "Why!" in French because of the situation he is in. 2) The bank robber does not say "Gattica", he says "Attica". This is a reference to the Attica Prison riot, an uprising that occurred in Attica Correctional Facility in Attica, New York between September 9-13, 1971. This was done as a way exaggerating how SpongeBob was worrying about the consequences of not passing the inspection.
Question: After Simba ran away and Scar took over the pride, why didn't the lionesses just leave? At one point, Scar says that they are supposed to "do the hunting", so they have opportunities to go out and not return.
Answer: Lions live in packs and are not loners (except for males in the real wild), a single lioness would definitely starve. Scar was the next in line to lead the pack, so they stayed.
Question: Why aren't the police officers' uniforms dirty, and how are they clean shaven, after being trapped in the sewers for so long?
Answer: They were getting care packages from Gordon. This was shown.
Question: The scene where Will and Elizabeth are sitting together tending to Elizabeth's cut (after the scene where Will has rescued Elizabeth from Barbossa and the pirates in relation to the Aztec Gold). I don't really understand what's going on with the scene where they are alone below deck, they seem to have a moment where they're about to kiss and they randomly stop and she pulls his hand to the medallion on her necklace. I know that scene's quite cute but I just don't understand it properly. Can anyone explain?
Answer: Elizabeth is a high-born lady while Will is a lowly commoner. Elizabeth is conflicted over her feelings for Will while she is technically engaged to Commodore Norrington, who is considered a far more suitable match than Will. In this time, people were expected to marry within their own social class.
Question: Why does Elizabeth take the medallion with her after her blood fails to lift the curse? She knows that it "calls to them", so it would only act as a homing beacon, but she doesn't know that they're after Will specifically, in fact, at that point, only Jack knows that. So why would she risk the pirates coming after them?
Question: During the movie we learned that David felt some passion for Elizabeth for being kind to him before. So why use her body for his experiments after her death? Surely not to learn about human anatomy, which should be known to him already.
Answer: Regardless of his android passions, David was already experimenting with the bio-goo, and he deliberately used it to impregnate Dr. Elizabeth Shaw with a proto-face-hugger in "Prometheus." In "Covenant," we learn that David later killed Shaw and is experimenting with her body because her body tissues contain human-alien antibodies that are essential to David's work (which is creating a new generation of xenomorphs).
Question: Couldn't Jed, the cowboy in the timeglass, just be walking around on top of the sand to avoid being buried in it?
Answer: Yes. But he obviously doesn't think to do so.
Question: In the scene at the rock pile when the book comes to life and Pennywise says, "I'll kill you all. I'll drive you crazy and I'll kill you all", these words don't at all match whatever words his mouth is actually forming. It's so obvious. This is an audio dub to replace whatever he's supposed to be saying in the book. Does anybody have any idea what happened here?
Answer: In the only version I know his lips movement matches what is being said. Not sure what you mean, check out the scene at youtube.
Answer: I think you're mistaking Tim Curry's distinctive way of speaking as Pennywise with him being dubbed. He curls the corners of his mouth as he talks which makes his mouth look like he's saying something else. The only other film I can remember him doing something similar in is The Shadow, he kind of talks with the same mannerisms.
Question: When the armies of Gondor and Rohan approached the black gate, why didn't the orcs who are in charge of opening the gate and watching it not fire at them?
Answer: They were probably ordered not to as it was a last suicidal attempt to challenge them and Sauron was amused by this. Therefore he sent the mouth of Sauron rather than attack them.
Question: How did Trebuchets work and how did the soldiers even move it for ammunition? They were pretty much firing something the size of a whole room.
Answer: Trebuchets are just elaborate catapults, but the additional rope at the end of the arm gives it extra leverage, and thus the ability to throw something extra far. As to maneuverability, that wasn't really a problem for the soldiers of Gondor, as they were fixed in place, solely to be used for defending the city when necessary.
Question: Why does Meyeing seem to only wear blue fluffy socks?
Question: When Merida runs out of the castle, was she crying because of Elinor burning her prized bow, or that Elinor "was never there for her?" Also, Merida is shown with another bow later on. If it's the same bow that was burned, how was the bowstring fixed?
Answer: Merida was upset and crying over everything her mother had done. Also, that was the same bow. Bowstrings are commonly breakable and can be easily replaced. Merida may have had an extra stashed away or knew where to get one.
Also if you look carefully the bow has a circle on either side of the bow which looks like extra bowstring even then she probably has a stash somewhere.
Question: After Harry begins to pierce Tom Riddle's diary with the bloody tooth, how does it cause Tom to disappear and revive Ginny?
Answer: The diary is a Horcrux. Tom Riddle, as seen, is just a part of Lord Voldemort's soul. Basilisk venom is one of the few substances that can destroy a Horcrux. When Harry stabs the diary with the fang, the venom destroys the Horcrux and as such Tom Riddle disappears. Due to the strong magic in the item, it has taken control of Ginny as such when the diary is destroyed, Ginny gets her energy back.
Question: Correct me if I'm wrong, but the plot of this film is to show Michael's consolidation to power. My question is, what's with the thing with Hyman Roth and Cuba? Like what are they trying to invest in? Why did Roth want Michael killed?
Answer: They were investing in hotels and gambling in pre-Castro Cuba, trying to extend their empire to what was then a lucrative market for rich Americans. Michael, however, saw the revolution coming, and started to pull back from the deal as he realised that the Communists would win and nationalize all those businesses. Roth, oblivious to this, tried to have Michael killed because he was worried that Michael's reticence would influence the others involved in the deal and ruin the investment for him.
Answer: Roth wanted Michael killed because he had Moe Green killed.
Question: What was Fabrizio saying in Italian to the Italian soldiers when they were driving by?
Answer: They weren't Italian soldiers, they were American. He was jestingly suggesting they take him with them back to America, as well as a few names of famous Americans. He says: "Hey, hey, take me to America! G.I.! Hey! Hey, hey, hey, take me to America, G.I.! Clark Gable! Hey! America, America, ha! Take me to America, G.I.! Clark Gable, Rita Hayworth!"
This foreshadows Fabrizio's treachery. He badly wants to emigrate to America, so he betrays Michael for money to get there, only to be executed on Michael's orders some years later.
In what movie is Fabrizio murdered?
Strangely enough, Fabrizio is killed in in both Godfather 1 and 2! In Godfather 1 Michael calls on the pizzeria Fabrizzio owns and kills him with a shotgun. (In the book this is done by one of Michael's henchmen). In Godfather 2 he is killed by a car bomb planted on Michael's orders. Both scenes were deleted by Francis Ford Copolla, leaving a sense of mystery about what actually happened to Fabrizzio.
Question: If his father was a monster, why didn't Britt make that clear to everyone at the funeral and let them know he didn't deserve that statue? Also, why couldn't Britt tell his co-workers that he cut the statue's head off?
Answer: While Britt held a childhood grudge against his dad, his father wasn't so much a "monster" as he was a hard-nosed, dedicated publisher (who was, in fact, trying to expose organized crime). Britt has a change of heart when his father dies unexpectedly, and Britt makes the decision to take more responsibility in his life. Britt's old grudge only re-emerges when he and Kato get intoxicated and vandalize the statue, which Britt later regrets doing when he is sober.

Answer: Because he could hear the zombies on the other side of the vent. They weren't sure yet what was going on, therefore he was trying to determine what that noise was.
