Halloween 5 (1989)
Question: Up to this point in the series (and even in the next film), Michael is portrayed as a remorseless killer with no emotions. However, in this one, he takes his mask off at Jamie's request and even sheds a tear. He becomes enraged when Jamie tries to touch him, reverting back to the remorseless personality. What was the point of this sudden, and brief, display of emotion?

Question: What happened to Allyson's boyfriend after she left the dance following their fight?
Answer: It's never shown in the movie what happens. But there was a deleted scene where he got arrested for underage drinking after mouthing off to a police officer. Either way, he's safe for the time being, and the actor is currently slated to appear in the next sequel, "Halloween Kills."

Halloween 5 (1989)
Plot hole: When everyone goes back to the Myers house to set a trap for Michael, standard procedure would have the cops going through the entire house to make sure it was safe before proceeding with the plan. This would have included the attic. So how is it that they missed the corpses of Mike, Rachel, and Max the dog, as well as the shrine with the coffin and candles burning? The sequence begins with the trap set up, and later Jamie is shocked to find the corpses when she makes her way to the attic. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Continuity mistake: When Master Pan chases Li to a back area, a couple of guys stop to fight him to give Li a chance to get away. The one with short dreadlocks throws a jump spinning kick at him, and he Pan sends him flying into a ramp with his sword. Later, while Pan is fighting Eric Lee, there is a quick shot of that same guy sitting on the ramp very relaxed, then he vanishes entirely.

Trivia: Maybe not really trivia, but something interesting nonetheless. When the murders start happening at the camp, every time a death is shown the weapon used is something that was previously seen being used by one of the victims. Bill and Jack are killed by arrows, which were shown being used by Ned. Marcie is killed with an axe, which is something Steve was using earlier on a stump. Alice kills Mrs. Voorhees with a machete, which Bill used to cut some bush and kill a snake. We never saw the weapon used to kill Steve, while Ned and Brenda's deaths were off screen.

Trivia: Melinda Dillon was given the wrong script on purpose when they filmed the Chinese restaurant scene. She had no idea that when they brought the duck out it would have its head still attached. All of her reactions, including when she first sees the duck and when the server cuts the head off, were completely genuine.

Question: When Ashe tries to get to Judah's home, he makes his way through a celebration celebrating the dead. While making his way through, he appears frightened. Why would he be scared?
Chosen answer: Because the whole coming back from the dead experience is strange, mysterious and scary for him. He had no idea who or what called him back. Is he the only one or was there a whole world of supernatural creatures.

Answer: Ed's death.

Rawhead Rex (1986)
Question: Early in the film, Rawhead Rex kills a farmer, but the farmer's pregnant wife gets Rex's attention and he goes toward the house. She runs upstairs to hide but the monster follows, cornering her in the bedroom. He reaches out to her, but then relents and spares her for some reason. The movie never really explains why. Can anyone explain why he let her live?
Chosen answer: Pregnant woman (and possibly women on their periods) are his weakness and the only thing he fears.

Halloween: Resurrection (2002)
Question: Why did Michael hand the knife to the patient with the clown mask after killing Laurie at the beginning of the movie? Was he trying to frame him for the murders at the institution, or was there a deeper meaning I might have missed?
Answer: Or maybe he's thinking that his mission to kill Laurie is done. He's been trying to kill her for a long time and succeeded. No need to continue, but when those kids invaded his house, the killing began again. No one goes into his house, but him.
Chosen answer: Michael handed the knife to the guy in the clown mask so it looked like the guy in the clown mask killed Laurie, not Michael.
He actually handed the knife to the guy as a memento, not to frame him.

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
Question: Throughout the movie you see War Boys making a big deal about Valhalla just before dying in battle, not to mention Nux talking in detail about it, but suddenly it didn't seem important to him before he kills himself. What is the significance of Nux saying "witness me" just before he sacrifices himself?
Chosen answer: Bravery in battle meant everything to the warriors in the film, and dying in battle was glorious and a sure ticket to Valhalla (a warrior's heaven). Nux's words of "witness me" were to let everyone know to remember and talk about his brave sacrifice, so there would be no question to others he died bravely in battle and enter Valhalla.

Answer: Director Dominique Othenin-Girard made the puzzling decision to try and humanize Michael in this film by showing he still had some traces of emotion that could be momentarily reached. Thus when Jamie talks to him, he briefly recovers his humanity, takes off his mask and sheds a single tear. Othenin-Girard felt that this made Michael more frightening, because his evil was so great that even if he still had regular emotions that occasionally emerged, the evil inside of him would eventually take over. But it does kind of come out of nowhere and contradict the other films... hence this idea was more-or-less ignored in future sequels.
