Mad Max: Fury Road

Question: Near the end, when Nux flips the War Rig, the Doof Wagon smashes into it and the guitar is flung forward. What happened to the Doof Warrior that was playing the guitar?

Chosen answer: Presumably he is killed. He is attached to the truck with bungee cords and has no protection from the force of impact in the crash, which is sufficient to break the rig into pieces. There is no way he could have survived the crash.

Question: What was the purpose of Nux's idea concerning overturning one single tree?

Chosen answer: The truck was stuck in the sand and they had to use the tree to winch it out - the tree was used as an anchor. The weight of the truck and soft sand pulled the tree out.

Question: Throughout the movie you see War Boys making a big deal about Valhalla just before dying in battle, not to mention Nux talking in detail about it, but suddenly it didn't seem important to him before he kills himself. What is the significance of Nux saying "witness me" just before he sacrifices himself?

Chosen answer: Bravery in battle meant everything to the warriors in the film, and dying in battle was glorious and a sure ticket to Valhalla (a warrior's heaven). Nux's words of "witness me" were to let everyone know to remember and talk about his brave sacrifice, so there would be no question to others he died bravely in battle and enter Valhalla.

Question: How was the canyon pass able to be clear, and the rock bridge brought down a second time? On the way back through the pass? Did they just rebuild it in that short time? Earth movers, and cranes, and work crews just happened to come out for overtime and finish before everyone came barreling back through?

Chosen answer: The canyon pass was cleared by Immorten Joe's men - the archway was never blown up. it was the canyon side in front of the arch that was destroyed.
