Continuity mistake: In the final chase, we see Max taking the arrow out of his hand and Furiosa pulling the knife out of herself. A few shots later, Furiosa is changing gears and moving the rig to the left of Max's rig. In that shot, the knife is still lodged in her body. (01:39:40)
Continuity mistake: When the Bullet Farmer (now blind) is being driven towards the War Rig, and is indiscriminately firing at Max and co, the weapons he is using change between shots. He starts by firing two MP5's, then two AK-type rifles, then back to two MP5's again. (01:10:33)
Revealing mistake: When Imortan Joe's body is thrown from the car by Max at the end, if you look closely when the crowd rush in it's just his costume there and no body.
Trivia: Immortan Joe is played by actor Hugh Keays-Byrne - Toecutter from the original Mad Max.
Trivia: The warclub Immortan Joe uses actually belongs to actor Hugh Keays-Byrne - it was given to him by his grandmother.
Max: You know, hope is a mistake. If you can't fix what's broken, you'll go insane.
Max: My name is Max. My world is fire and blood.
Immortan Joe: Do not, my friends, become addicted to water. It will take hold of you, and you will resent its absence.
Question: Near the end, when Nux flips the War Rig, the Doof Wagon smashes into it and the guitar is flung forward. What happened to the Doof Warrior that was playing the guitar?
Answer: Presumably he is killed. He is attached to the truck with bungee cords and has no protection from the force of impact in the crash, which is sufficient to break the rig into pieces. There is no way he could have survived the crash.
Question: How was the canyon pass able to be clear, and the rock bridge brought down a second time? On the way back through the pass? Did they just rebuild it in that short time? Earth movers, and cranes, and work crews just happened to come out for overtime and finish before everyone came barreling back through?
Answer: The canyon pass was cleared by Immorten Joe's men - the archway was never blown up. it was the canyon side in front of the arch that was destroyed.

Answer: The truck was stuck in the sand and they had to use the tree to winch it out - the tree was used as an anchor. The weight of the truck and soft sand pulled the tree out.
