The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire - S4-E5

Continuity mistake: While the Griffin family are at the Heimlich maneuver class, there is a scene where Stewie is talking to a doll and putting his clothes on. You can see that he has no shoes on but when he sticks his feet through the pant leg holes, shoes suddenly come out of the pants and he has his shoes on. (00:04:10)

Perfect Castaway - S4-E12

Factual error: In the very beginning of Perfect Castaway, when Peter is talking to his workers and telling them he's going to have to "put them down", he pulls out a shotgun and four shells. He puts two shells in each barrel, but then continues to shoot 5 times when they jump in the water. First of all the shotgun is a double-barreled, break action type shotgun, so Peter should only have been able to put two shells in it. Second of all, even if he could put two shells in each barrel, he would only be able to fire it four times.

Perfect Castaway - S4-E12

Continuity mistake: In the episode where Brian and Lois get married, Lois confronts Brian after cheating with Peter back at the house. Stewie is playing with a SIMON SAYS game. Look at the SIMON SAYS when he is playing it (up close), after he is done (the close up shot ends), look at the colors again on the SIMON SAYS, they change.

I Take Thee Quagmire - S4-E21

Other mistake: When Stewie sneaks into his parents' room and attaches the breastfeeding pump to Lois, he places the cups too high on her chest for them to be on her nipples. You can see this, especially after he removes the cups.

Brian the Bachelor - S4-E7

Other mistake: In season 4 episode 7, 'Brian the Bachelor'. Cleveland is sitting in a chair in a waiting room and is getting really nervous. Peter tries to help him by tying him to a chair and when that doesn't work, he takes off all of their clothes. Peter ties Cleveland's hands to the arms of the chair and then takes Cleveland's clothes off. He couldn't have taken the shirt off while Cleveland's hands were tied to something without untying him or ripping the shirt, which he didn't do.

Jack Kaltenbach

Untitled Griffin Family History - S4-E27

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Al Cowlings and his "trusty white bronco" help the Griffins escape, his white horse changes color to light brown during the passing view then changes back to white in the following overhead view.

PTV - S4-E14

Continuity mistake: When the Griffins are driving to Washington we see a faraway shot of the car driving from left to right. Peter and Lois are in the front and Chris is leaning back on the back seat. In the next shot, Chris is leaning forward against the back of Peter and Lois's seats. (00:19:30)

Petarded - S4-E6

Continuity mistake: In the episode "Petarded", when Peter is in court, when he says he is going to call "the ghost that never lies" to the stand, only Stewie is visible over Peter's shoulder. But when Peter says "But only I can see him", Meg is also visible over his shoulder.

Blind Ambition - S4-E3

Other mistake: Right at the start when you get an aerial shot of the bowling alley, there is one that gets a strike. The machine sweeps them away, but the pins still remain. (00:00:05)

Jungle Love - S4-E13

Continuity mistake: In series 4 episode 13 Jungle Love: When the family are escaping the tribespeople, Chris is wearing the tribal clothing. When they jump in the plane there is a brief far-off shot of Chris wearing his usual cap and t-shirt. In a close up shot moments later, he is wearing the tribal gear again.

Lois: Hello?
Peter: I can't take the trash out today, I'm working late at the office.
Lois: The caller ID says you're calling from the kitchen. In fact I can see you.
Peter: [Edging sideways.] OK, can you see me now?
Lois: No.
Peter: Now I am at the office.

Trivia: A Quahog is another name for a clam, thus all the jokes and places in town (like the drunken clam bar) the show makes reference about.

Brian Sings & Swings - S4-E19

Question: In this episode Meg pretends to be a lesbian, when she calls herself a 'mega lesbian' it shows four other 'mega lesbians' singing something on deep voices. What song are they singing? Is it a real song?

strikeand

Chosen answer: It's a real song called "Elvira". Originally by Dallas Fraizer in '66, however, this version seems to be the Oak Ridge Boys cover version. However, the mega lesbians skip the verse and just sing the chorus after the opening line.
