And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1
Continuity mistake: When everyone is in the dining room at the dinner table, the order of where everyone sits changes between shots. In all moments where it shows everyone sitting, the order is Priscilla, Derek, Jillian, Mort, Muriel, and Carl. But in one shot, the order is Priscilla, Derek, Jillian, Muriel, Mort, Carl.
The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire - S4-E5
Continuity mistake: While the Griffin family are at the Heimlich maneuver class, there is a scene where Stewie is talking to a doll and putting his clothes on. You can see that he has no shoes on but when he sticks his feet through the pant leg holes, shoes suddenly come out of the pants and he has his shoes on. (00:04:10)
Continuity mistake: Brian's newspaper's name changes from "Daily Informant" to "Daily Tim...". The newspaper also turns upside down between the two shots. (00:11:15)
The Courtship of Stewie's Father - S4-E16
Continuity mistake: After "Herbert the Pervert" leaves the Griffins' house, the size of the couch in relation to Chris changes distinctly between shots.
Continuity mistake: Stewie tries to get his mind control device back from the kitchen. The cupboard door is open when he falls. In the very next shot, Lois turns the light on in the kitchen, and we see the door has closed without anyone touching it. It is open again after that. (00:09:50)
Continuity mistake: When Peter is testifying in court, the microphone on the witness stand disappears in the shots from the judge's point of view. (00:18:43)
Brian Does Hollywood (2) - S3-E2
Continuity mistake: As Peter and Lois take Stewie to the hotel, as we first see Peter, he has on a blue suit. The next scene we see him, he has on a black suit. Then, as they get called in the room, he has his usual on: green pants and a white shirt. (00:06:05)
Other mistake: During the Vagina Monologues show, the pair of legs casts a shadow but the microphone stand doesn't. (00:00:45)
He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17
Revealing mistake: During the scene when the people at the pool think Chris is a car sitting on the diving board, just before Lois moves out of the shot before the scene changes, her lips disappear for a split second. It's really fast but still easy to notice even without pausing or slow motion. (00:07:20)
I Never Met the Dead Man - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: When Lois and Peter are in bed prior to the Raisin Bran spoof, in one frame Peter is not wearing glasses, the next close-up he is, and in the next frame he is again without glasses. (00:14:50)
Continuity mistake: In the episode where Brian and Lois get married, Lois confronts Brian after cheating with Peter back at the house. Stewie is playing with a SIMON SAYS game. Look at the SIMON SAYS when he is playing it (up close), after he is done (the close up shot ends), look at the colors again on the SIMON SAYS, they change.

Continuity mistake: After Quagmire jumps through the window, the glass shards on the ground disappear. (00:18:30)
Blue Harvest - S6-E1
Trivia: In the episode "Blue Harvest Part 1," Peter narrates a telling of Star Wars from his point of view. When Chris is walking through the bar, we see Bender from Futurama, Coach John McGuirk from "Home Movies," The Evil Monkey from Family Guy and The Alien from American Dad sitting in the background talking to people.
He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17
Continuity mistake: When Stewie is eating chocolate cake, he shoves his head in it and covers himself in cake. However, when Peter walks in after having liposuction, all the cake has disappeared and Stewie is now completely clean. The bowl of flowers on the table is also gone. (00:11:40)
I Never Met the Dead Man - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: The seating arrangement of the students preparing to throw paper wads at Meg during the Wonder Years parody changes depending on the camera angle. (00:09:50)
Continuity mistake: When Peter is calling for people to fight Lois, he is standing next to a sign that says "Fight the ass kicking housewife" and has metal rings at the top. When it moves to a closer shot, a hyphen has appeared between "ass" and "kicking". Then, after the space where the commercial break would have been, the sign now says "$10.00" and there are no metal rings. Finally, in the next shot, the sign says "Fight the..." and has metal rings on top. (00:06:55)
Other mistake: When Peter and Lois begin to search for the black market, it then cuts to an exterior shot of Stewie's daycare. In this shot, not only is the entire left side of the chain link fence missing, but bizarrely, this missing gate still casts a shadow on the sidewalk. (00:18:40)
Continuity mistake: When Lois, Meg, Chris and Stewie first enter the courtroom there is a brown-shirted man sitting next to Quagmire. In the next shot, there is a pink-shirted man there. (00:18:25)
Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
