Continuity mistake: When the guys are all playing cards, Peter has a low amount of blue chips. In all the different shots, Peter goes from having no chips to having a lot. The pile is low in the above shots and high when it is close up on Peter.

Continuity mistake: In the scene when Peter and Brian crash through the wall in the car during dinner, Lois is standing by the table with oven mitts on. In the next shot when Lois asks Peter what he's doing the oven mitts are gone. There was no time to take them off and nowhere to put them either.
Continuity mistake: When Brian is watching TV at first the remote is on the right hand side and there is an olive in his glass, but in the next shot the olive is gone and the remote in on the left hand side. (00:08:10)

Continuity mistake: After Mayor West enjoys eating the taffy, when it cuts to the Griffin family standing on their lawn, the post-mounted mailbox is placed on the right side of the front door's walkway, but then it switches to the left side of the walkway.
Chosen answer: It's a real song called "Elvira". Originally by Dallas Fraizer in '66, however, this version seems to be the Oak Ridge Boys cover version. However, the mega lesbians skip the verse and just sing the chorus after the opening line.
