Continuity mistake: Lois takes away the box of Fig Newtons from Stewie and sets it on the counter in the kitchen. In the first shot, the open side of the box is facing towards what would be the left if you're facing it from the kitchen, then in the next shot the box is turned around so the open side is facing the right. Continuity mistake: When Neil goes to wash his retainer at the water fountain, in the first shot there is no button on the fountain, but it appears in the close-up. Also, between shots, the corner of the cork board moves further away from the fountain. And the guy holding the camera next to Neil goes from hands on camera to the camera just dangling around his neck with his hands down. (00:06:25)

Continuity mistake: When Meg is telling the university dean that she is president of the Luke Perry Fan Club, Peter is suddenly no longer beside her. Also, the distance between her and Lois grows, the chairs they are sitting on suddenly become smaller, the bookshelf behind them suddenly becomes much more shallow, like it's cardboard and it's wider, and the blue books on the left of the screen change labels. Continuity mistake: The family is standing outside the gate of Brown University, and their car is on the left, parked just off to the side behind Meg. In the next shot, the car vanishes. You can tell where it was supposed to be by the position of the white lines on the road, meaning no, it's not just off camera. Where the line is shown, the front of the car should be visible behind Meg. (00:01:19)

Barely Legal - S5-E8

Connie: You know, Meg, there's no dogs allowed. So, you're going to have to leave. But Brian can stay.
Brian Griffin: You know, Connie, I think I have this theory about why you're such a bitch.
Connie: Excuse me?
Meg Griffin: Brian, let's just go.
Brian Griffin: No, no, no, no, no, no. Hang on a minute, Meg, hang on. You see, Connie, you're popular because you developed early and started giving handjobs when you were twelve. But now you can't stand to look in the mirror because all you see is a whore. So you pick on Meg to avoid the inevitable realization that once your body's used up by age nineteen, you're gonna be a worn out chalky skinned burlap sack that even your own stepdad won't want. How is that? Am I in the ballpark?
[Connie runs off crying].

Grumpy Old Man - S10-E9

Trivia: One of the cutaway gags is about someone who survived 9/11 because he was late for work watching late night football. Seth MacFarlane missed his flight, which would have been one of the flights to crash into the World Trade Center, because his agent had given him the incorrect departure time. The plane was scheduled to depart at 7:45 AM and his agent had told him it was departing at 8:15 AM. By the time Seth arrived the boarding had been closed and he was told he would have to catch a later flight.

Brian Sings & Swings - S4-E19

Question: In this episode Meg pretends to be a lesbian, when she calls herself a 'mega lesbian' it shows four other 'mega lesbians' singing something on deep voices. What song are they singing? Is it a real song?

strikeand

Chosen answer: It's a real song called "Elvira". Originally by Dallas Fraizer in '66, however, this version seems to be the Oak Ridge Boys cover version. However, the mega lesbians skip the verse and just sing the chorus after the opening line.
