Continuity mistake: When Peter crashes the car, Lois' seatbelt keeps disappearing and reappearing from the car. (00:05:02)
Continuity mistake: The bag of crisps that is on Peter's lap at the start have completely disappeared when Lois walks in a few seconds later. (00:01:50)
Other mistake: When Lois is saying about not having a spark in their marriage any more, the headboard of the bed keeps changing shades from light to dark in very quick succession. (00:03:00)
Continuity mistake: The buttons on Peter's white shirt switch between the left side and right side, between shots, such as when he tries to play frisbee with James, or when Peter is late for dinner with James.
Continuity mistake: When Peter's band is on stage he gets everyone's attention with a mic. Two shots later once they realise they can't play, the mic has mysteriously vanished.

Character mistake: When the family is about to drown in the panic room and start arguing with Peter about not liking "The Godfather," Chris starts listing off the great actors in it. "Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, I mean, you've never seen...ROBERT DUVALL!" Robert DeNiro is in "The Godfather Part II," but not in the first one. (00:19:30)
Continuity mistake: When Peter is about to walk into the Drunken Clam, his seeing-eye dog refuses to go inside, so he puts the leash on a homeless man, thinking it was a fire hydrant. We actually see a fire hydrant in front of the homeless man, but then when Peter ties the dog up, it's gone.
Revealing mistake: When Peter leans down to get the basketball, a dot briefly appears on his shorts, then disappears almost immediately.

Continuity mistake: As Peter and Chris egg their own house, one of the splattered eggs disappear as soon as Brian opens the door, without any shot change.
Audio problem: In the flashback of Handful of Peter singing about the Indian chief, the musical notes Peter and Lois play continue to change pitch after they take their hands off their instruments' frets, which should default back to the open string notes.
Answer: Mort is Jewish, and Walt Disney was said to be antisemitic. So it would make sense in a Disney universe all the inhabitants would share his supposed beliefs.
