Question: What is the title song (the one that comes in and all the friends are dancing etc.) who sings it and what is it called?
Answer: "I'll be there for you" by The Rembrandts.
Question: In one scene, the Predator is about to kill Weyland, but it uses its x-ray vision to look inside him and it sees something (bad lungs?) that makes it decide to spare his life. Can anybody tell me why the Predator at first spared Weyland's life and what it had to do with the x-ray?
Answer: The Predators have natural vision in the infrared range (they see body heat) and their helmets allow them different types of vision. The Predator detects something weak about Weyland's movements and decides to examine him more thoroughly with specialized vision. This reveals that he is dying of some lung infection. The Predator honor code deems that diseased individuals are not worth killing, so he pushes Weyland aside and continues forward. When Weyland attacks him, it becomes honorable to retaliate according to the code, so the Predator kills him.
Question: Just curious,does the space jockey have any relation with the Predator and what is their history?
Answer: The space jockey is another alien race entirely. Since the Predator movies didn't even exist when Alien was released and there were no creative links between the two series until Alien Vs. Predator, it is safe to say that the space jockey has absolutely nothing to do with the Predators.
Question: In the trivia section, it is said that the movie editors made a video clip of Elijah Wood and Sean Astin to the song "I Got You". Can anyone please tell me where I could find this?
Chosen answer: The song on the video montage is "I got you babe." Just as the rest of the main cast received personal gifts, this was a personal meaningful gift to Sean and Elijah, at the wrap of the films and it is not for the general public.
Question: My friend said that some of the theme in the movie was not featured in the soundtrack especially the one where Harry blows up the bomb.Is this true and if it is ,then why?
Answer: There's only so much room on a CD. The soundtrack features the song tracks from the movie, and that only left room for one instrumental track.
There was also a score release for the film (without songs). Unsure whether the piece in question was included. It is typical for score releases to not include the entire film's score. As previously stated, CD space is limited in addition to commercial viability and composer/studio/ label interest. Score-centric labels sometimes release complete or extended scores. In the case of Armageddon, numerous bootlegs of the score have been available. Unsure whether Recording Sessions were leaked.
Question: Near the end, when Lex and the Predator are trying to kill the Alien Queen, Lex says "Got it." when she hooks the Queen's chain to the water tower. When she says it, there is a Spanish subtitle on the bottom of the screen for the only time in the movie. Why is this?
Answer: I think there was a malfunction in your theater. I haven't seen any subtitles in the film yet.
Question: When the player is saying "...I'm proud to finally play here in the fine city of Miami", who is the guy who stands up and corrects him? He looks really familiar but it isn't an important enough role to show up anywhere as far as I can tell.
Chosen answer: He's been a non-essential extra in a lot of films, but in a supporting role he is the the leader of the "3 sisters" group of male rapists in the Shawshank Redemption.
Question: I was just wondering,how they choose the audience? Do the people just go up and ask if they can be in the audience or id their some special criteria?
Answer: Behind the scenes documentaries show that it's just a case of getting to the studio very early and waiting in line for tickets, however, for the final episode made a specially selected audience made up of the cast's family members were the only ones allowed in, to conceal the surprise.
Question: Does anyone know if the new episodes of Family Guy will be on Cartoon Network or Fox?
Answer: FOX will air them first, but not until next year at the earliest. After that, I am sure Cartoon Network will reshow them in syndication shortly thereafter.
Question: Do Nightcrawler and Storm have a crush on each other or something? They seem pretty close...
Answer: Not a crush, they just connect. Storm feels for him because of the pain and suffering he has been through, and Nightcrawler feels for her because she is angry at the world and he tries to comfort her. Besides that, he is closer to her because she was the first of the group to try and get to know him.
Question: Maybe I am being too analytical, but why do the villagers wear yellow robes? Taking into consideration the colour wheel and the red robes of the "things," wouldn't it make more sense to wear green as the safe color because green is the opposite of red?
Answer: They used the color yellow to represent caution, the red color means danger it does not have to do with the color wheel, but it is more psychological.
Answer: It would probably depend on the colourings available to the villagers. Maybe it was easier to make yellow dye and paint than green. Also, if green was a safe colour, then the 'creatures' wouldn't have been able to walk on any grass and there wouldn't have been as much fear of them entering the Village.
Answer: Red attracts colors. Planes, onlookers. If they are trying to keep a low profile in the forest, avoiding red is a good idea.
Answer: Plot wise, there was no practical reason for yellow being used because it was just part of the elders' scheme to "sell" the fake beasts story to the younger villagers. The youngsters were conditioned from childhood to believe that red attracted the creatures, and the village was protected as long as no-one wore or displayed it. The "safe" yellow color was probably an arbitrary choice by the elders, though it is also associated with "caution." From a movie-making perspective, the color choice probably had to do with what visually worked best on film. Green or blue would blend into the forest and meadow background, while yellow stands out, making the characters more visible.
Answer: Blood! Red was the bad color because it was the color of blood. Remember, all the elders were trying to avoid violence. The father in the movie was a psychologist. It just makes sense, knowing what he knew of society, to use red and yellow (being caution) as cultural guidelines.
The father was a history professor.
Answer: Just a word about this: opposing green to red makes sense only if you think about light. If you think about paint for example it would be yellow... kinda (actually 3 primary colors blue, red and yellow / 3 primary "light colors" blue, red and green).
Answer: I would think yellow is a color of passive/yielding to notify the "beasts" they are inferior to them.
Question: What is that song that plays whenever Uma Thurman sees someone from her old gang who tried to kill her?
Answer: It is called Ironside and is made by Quincy Jones. On the soundtrack, it is track no. 16.
Question: What exactly are District and Division?
Answer: A division is within a district, much like a city is within a county, or a state is within a nation.
Question: How come Ming-Na Wen is only credited as Ming-Na?
Answer: Ming-Na made the decision to drop her last name, Wen, at the time she married actor/screenwriter Eric Michael Zee in 1995; apparently out of a desire to be like one-named headliners such as Cher and Ann-Margret.
Question: When Van Helsing was on the carriage on the way to Budapest and the horses were about to go over the broken bridge, how did the horses fly over a considerably huge gap like that and land on the other side of the bridge? Why didn't Van Helsing try to stop the horses?
Answer: Because having them jump the gap looked really cool. In reality, horses are not stupid. If they see a huge drop off like that, they will stop by themselves!
Question: Is it ever explained how Ramius' wife died?
Answer: According to the book Natalia Ramius was in hospital for an apparently routine appendix operation. The surgeon was drunk, botched the operation and she died. The surgeon couldn't be prosecuted as he was protected by his father - a Party high-up - which led directly to Ramius' decision to steal the Red October. His reasoning was that, if the doctor could not be made to pay, then the State that protected him would.
Question: Several times throughout the movie, we see Lex refer to a digital compass on her wrist. I know that a normal compass, the kind with a suspended needle, will bottom out that close to the south pole, and even if you get it to work, it's useless because it says every direction is north. How does hers work?
Answer: It's a GPS. It gets its location and direction from an orbiting satellite.
Question: Does anyone know if Noah knew all along that the elders were dressing up as the "monsters?" I think he did, and that he thought it was just a game. Is that why he laughed and clapped every time the bell went off and they had to hide? Perhaps the elders didn't hide this from him because he was simple-minded and couldn't talk. So, when he went after Ivy in the woods, he thought it was all for fun. Does anyone else agree with this?
Answer: When the Elders found Noah missing, they referred to a costume that had been hidden under the floorboards. My guess is that at some stage Noah found that costume and may have figured out that it was a game then. I doubt if the Elders realized this until he went missing. Also, given that Noah had already stabbed Lucius, I don't really think that he was joking when he went for Ivy in the woods.
Answer: Noah had figured out shortly before the movie begins that the monsters were a hoax made by the Elders, having found a creature suit in the "punishment room." This can be seen early when everyone is eating. They hear howling from the woods (it's actually sound devices in a big tree deep in the forest that create sounds from the wind), and Noah simply laughs at it. He probably thought it was all a game, never understanding the true purpose of why the Elders created the hoax. During the Covington Woods quest, he most likely went to kill Ivy. Recall the "daring game" played by the children. We learn that creatures imitate their victim before they attack. Noah does the same to Ivy. She snaps her cane, and the creature also snaps something. She throws a rock, he does the same. Noah was actually smarter than we think. He was THE creature, the usurper of the Elders' hoax. So, he tortures Ivy mentally first before trying to kill her. He was kinda sadistic (he also massacred the livestock).

Answer: Probably due to their recent "disagreement", as mentioned during their discussion. Since the sword was a present from Bill, it had should have had sentimental value. Budd is probably trying to make Bill think he no longer "cares" about Bill by showing little "love" for it. His way of making Bill feel bad for their recent "trouble".
