Question: Why did Mr. Hand rip up Spicoli's card and then send him to the front office? Aside from being late, he didn't really do anything that could be considered "out of line."
Answer: As a teacher myself, you learn to be able to recognize "problem" students fairly quickly (those that are going to be disruptive, late, etc on a regular basis). Mr. Hand is simply overly strict in regards to Spicoli unexcused tardy and seems not to allow students into class late, thus earning the student an absent. Mr. Hand does say he "will make you" attend his class. In addition, Spicoli was high and, in Mr. Hand's mind, disrespectful (Spicoli said "hey I know that kid" while they were talking) so Mr. Hand showed Spicoli disrespect in return as a way to teach him a lesson.
Question: Why is the lighting set so low in the lab? Any lab should be well lit and in government buildings it is normally florescent. How can they see to do any detailed work?
Question: Why was her face cut out in all the pictures? And why were they stuck onto the walls?
Answer: Kayako was murdered by her husband when he found out that she has romantic feelings for another man, since this would be a crime of passion driven by hatred the cutting out her face from all the photos then sinisterly pinning them to the door is another sign of his hatred. Like him removing her from the family and cause futher pain with the needles. Also to display her face would most likely be a way of shaming her further, insult to injury and all that.
Question: Why was Toulouse crying at the end of the Elephant Love Medley? If I am correct he was sitting on a balcony eating and drinking when singing the words "How wonderful life is, now you're in the world." Is it just that he is happy about his dream of finally getting the Bohemian Play? Is it a potential that he is in love with Christian or Satine. Another possibility is that he just happy seeing Christian in love, since Christian previously stated that he had never been in love before?
Answer: The way I saw it, that was Toulouse in present day singing, after the death of Satine etc.
He's a funny little man who is lonely himself. All he has is his bottle when everything is all said and done. He has nobody.
Answer: Maybe it's sort of a foreshadowing.
Question: Why was Carl laundering $4 million into the account? Was he in debt when he says to Willie "I'm dead if the account closes", which it does?
Answer: Carl is laundering money for drug dealers. If the account is closed and he can't get the money back then it would be lost. The drug dealers would then most assuredly murder him in retribution.
Question: Were the bombers members of a terrorist organization?
Answer: They were not members of any terrorist group. They taught themselves how to build bombs with internet research and acted alone.
Question: Why doesn't Prince John like having his hand shaken?
Answer: Robin Hood, while disguised as a stork, wouldn't stop shaking Prince John's hand and it was starting to annoy him. Prince John was also robbed by Robin Hood earlier in the movie so he wanted to make sure that the jewels in his rings weren't stolen again.
Question: If mostly everyone was meant to evacuate because of the storm, then why bring Grant, Ellie, and Ian to the island at all? Seems a little risky as well as pointless; wouldn't they have evacuate soon after arriving?
Answer: The storm unexpectedly became particularly severe, and it turned into an emergency evacuation. Hammond had brought Grant, Ellie, and Ian to the island because he needed their professional endorsement in order to appease Hammond's investors regarding the viability and safety of his theme park. Without their approval, the park would have difficulty being fully financed. Any weather risk was worth it to Hammond to fulfill his dream project.
Question: J said that that's not what he was asking O, so what was he asking her?
Answer: Earlier in the movie, the way K was talking about Boris was different than what J had come to expect of his partner. So J wanted to know what happened between Boris and K at Cape Canaveral that changed him. So more of what did Boris do to K rather than just the report of what K did.
Question: Why does Alex abduct Ellen and take her to a carnival?
Answer: So her parents (especially her father) would go through hell, not knowing where she was or if she was safe.
Answer: Because she's unhinged! And she wants Dan to know that she can get to him, or in this case his daughter, anytime she wants. And she's angry that Dan had an affair with her then went back to his wife.
Question: Did the subway ghost commit suicide or did someone push him on the train tracks?
Answer: He killed himself by jumping in front of the train. During his conversation with Sam, he's offended by any suggestion that he committed suicide. Soon afterwards, he forgets who Sam is, which indicates that he has mental health issues. He then jumps in front of a train.
Question: Why do they not refer to Pooh as Winnie? His name is Winnie the Pooh.
Answer: In the original book, near the beginning when talking about Winnie it says "his arms were so stiff... they stayed up straight in the air for more than a week, and whenever a fly came and settled on his nose he had to blow it off. And I think-but I am not sure-that that is why he is always called Pooh."
Answer: "Pooh" is his name of endearment. If you think about the people in your life, maybe the people you went to school with, you might remember several who were referred to most often by their middle name or their last name, or some nickname or designation other than their first name.
Question: Why are Fred and George so certain that people will pay for fake wands? Even if they lied and said that they were real, people already have their own wands?
Question: What did Janice mean when she called the sharks "one second generation, and two first generation female", or something along those lines?
Answer: Or it's referring to different ways they modified them. The first generation were the first successful sharks. The second generation they did it slightly different.
Question: Why didn't the Serbs want Burnett, and Stackhouse to see what they were doing?
Answer: Prosecution by war crimes tribunals and a new start to the war.
Answer: Because what they were doing is considered a war crime. Hard to get the world to support your cause when you are committing genocide.
What did the Serbs fear would happen if people found out what they were doing?
Question: What did the old man ghost mean when he said to Sam that he's waiting for his wife in the cardiac wing and "she's fighting it."
Answer: I believe he is trying to say she's trying to stay alive (like the way people try to beat cancer to stay alive longer). He's most likely missing her though and is hoping she will die so they can be together soon. Makes the most sense.
Question: What caused the oxygen tank to explode?
Answer: Other answer is not entirely correct. The O2 tank was dropped in the North American factory, but they were unable to find any damage so they installed it on the Apollo 13 SM. 2 years later the spacecraft was sitting on the pad at Kennedy and they did the "plugs out test" with the spacecraft fully fuelled and running on internal systems. After the test was completed engineers tried to drain the tank and found they couldn't, the drain tube had been damaged when it was dropped. In order to empty the tank, they decided to run the heaters all night to boil the LOX off. This introduced the second problem: The spacecraft was engineered to run on 65 volts but the tank heater and fan were engineered to run on 28 volts. NASA changed the spec and it didn't find it's way to the sub-sub-contractor. NASA->North American->Tank Fabricator->Sensor manufacturer. With the heater running all night at 3 times the voltage it effectively cooked the elements, burning off insulation and such. When they ran the electronics inside the tank, it exposed bare wire inside the LOX to electrical current. Two of those bare wires shorted causing the explosion.
Answer: The oxygen tank had been used previously on the Apollo 10 mission, but tests revealed a fault, so it was taken out. For Apollo 13, that tank was reused after refurbishment, but one important thing that had changed was the voltage and amperage running through it to keep the oxygen warm; it was doubled for the Apollo 13. That melted through the isolation material, causing a short, which caused the tank to explode.

Answer: It was just a coincidence. There was a puddle on the floor that Mrs Norris was drinking from. When the Basilisk appeared she seen its reflection in the water and was petrified. Though, even with it not being intentional, she still would have died had she actually looked it in the eyes instead of seeing it through a reflection.
