Continuity mistake: When Casey pops up to peek at the window and is face to face with the killer, she shakes with fear reacting very naturally, but in its close-up her left arm is sticking out perfectly steady and firm in an incredibly unnatural position, blatantly there holding still just so the killer can grab it. Continuity mistake: When Casey peeks at the letter opener on top of the TV, her hair is on top of the cordless phone; in the shots from the side, before and after, her wig is pressed against her cheek and ear by the phone itself. (00:08:40)

Continuity mistake: There's a close-up of Drew Barrymore's foot when she unplugs the lights when the killer is starting his trivia. She tosses the cable and plug blindly behind her. Continuity mistake: If you look at the close-up of Casey's hands when she locks the door, you can see her left arm in frame, but in the next shot she is holding the phone to her ear with it. Later on there's a mistake even more blatant as she unlocks momentarily the patio door to check on Steve; in close-up she uses her right hand, the killer reprimands her for the stupidity of the move, and she pulls back her left hand, as the right hand is once again the phone hand. Character mistake: J. Max's ending has a long and intentionally comical epilogue speech delivered in erudite style. However, it contains an obvious misspelling when it says; "Wherever these are people" instead of "there are."

Continuity mistake: When the Ghostbusters approach the giant uterine slime cocoon to try to breach into the museum, there's a group of firemen to the right. The late arrival to this group brings an axe. Cut to a wide shot and the guy is not carrying the axe anymore. (01:24:05)

Other mistake: Two police officers drag Billy Loomis out from the sheriff office across the station; the younger officer stares into the camera right before it cuts away. (00:34:40)

Continuity mistake: At the police station, Billy looks back with anger at Sidney after the sheriff tells him that they have to detain him until the phone records come in. The sheriff is looking at him with his arms crossed, but in the close up on Skeet Ulrich the sheriff's got his hands on his thighs. (00:34:10)

Character mistake: Shen Long's winquote against Hellstinger is "Hey kids! Your massage is a little rough." It's a single opponent, and calling him "kids" makes no sense. It's either a typo or a misplaced quote for the Platonic Twins character, which is two people in one avatar.

Character mistake: In both Breakers and its remake, one of Tia Langray's winquotes says "What are you looking at? Do you look away since you think you can easily defeat me?" Either something is wrong with the translation, or it does not make sense as a post-fight winquote, but rather as a pre-fight quote.

Stupidity: Just by glancing from distance at the VTOL's flaming wreckage, the SSSP chief can instantly tell that Hayata is not in it. That is some impressive analytical ability. (00:08:50)

Stupidity: The security fails to block Gwen Stacy at floor 63 of the Oscorp tower. They own the whole building, and they have radios; by the time she reaches the ground floor (which is exactly the floor we see her reach) the building security can intercept her. We saw in the first movie (and it's basic logic and logistic of a company of this size) that they do have security at the entrance - and it's the regular building security that is involved, not a couple of mercenaries.

Other mistake: Peter grabs with his web at super-high speed a mug full of scorching hot liquid that he uses to slapstick his way out of the Oscorp security stooges; somehow the cup clashed against his hand staying perfectly filled and unperturbed, but in the next shot the slightest bump spills coffee everywhere. Visible crew/equipment: We get a good view of the Oscorp corridors, in particular the one outside the closet where Gwen and Peter hide. They kiss and there's a lovely light seeping through the door's window; when they start making out and also quickly when they open the door you can actually see the big spotlight that emits those warm rays. (01:10:49)

Continuity mistake: When Gwen nearly falls off her own flats trying to avoid Oscorp's cartoon security, Peter grabs her. She clings to her and her mug hand is against his arm. She says "Hi!" in the next shot and her arm is lowered. (01:09:20)

Other mistake: During Shaia's storyline (and in the movelist in case you defeat her) her sidekick is called Ballboy while the name is actually Ball Boy - same for her rival's Chrisboy/Chris Boy.

Revealing mistake: Peter, scientific genius, needs to watch Youtube to understand how batteries work (and will need Gwen later to remind him the obvious relation between magnetism and electricity). As he watches the video, we can easily see it's a dummy page; it has 257,529 views, but two subscribers, and with 92 likes and 0 dislikes has still the bar that shows the like/dislike ratio that is about 4/5. The video is stupidly short, just 20 seconds that say nothing about the topic, and when it's 2 seconds from ending it still goes on off camera for about 6 seconds. (01:03:45)

Revealing mistake: Electro grabs two cables and unleashes the power of dubstep making every billboard and sign fall. In the shot where the billboard for Mamma Mia and Jersey Boys begin to fall, several extras are running towards the camera and there are a few (like a woman to the left, wearing a white pantsuit and a light purple vest) that are laughing as they supposedly escape terrified.
