Continuity mistake: The police operation with Kono undercover begins showing a timestamp on the video feed saying that it's "Monday, 21:16:40" (approx). Inside the warehouse though, when the smuggler boss asks her what she does for a living, we're back in time at 21:14:18. From then on, the time changes inconsistently to 21:15:33, 21:16:46 (more than a minute when she is just turning around), 21:16:04 (again wrong order) and as he sends a text to the mole, the reply comes at 9:24, which would mean 5-6 mins have passed. Continuity mistake: Grace Park comes out of the water and punches a guy; the part of the surf with the red and black logo faces up. Then she picks it up, and, in a way that does not register right consider her motion and the rotation, that side of the board is facing her. Another cut, and the board is facing the opposite direction. (00:28:20)

Continuity mistake: When Danny and Steve are standing dressed like dorks in the parking lot outside Kamekona's joint, behind them on the left there's a guy who is changing bathing suits using a towel to cover himself. When they speak with the pesky kid the guy finishes his deed and leaves, but when Danny reaches inside the car for the big pink fuzzy thing, that guy is back in that spot. (00:26:05)

Continuity mistake: When the weapon dealer raises his arm to shoot Steve, he does it in two consecutive shots, and the hostage in the first one has her hands far apart on opposite ends of his forearm, in the second they are close together. (00:19:30)

Continuity mistake: When Steve McGarrett takes the picture of the footprint, what is photographing is different from what was shown earlier; the print and the objects to the left shifted - easy to tell using the tiles as reference, since in the picture the heel of the foot stops right at the line between two tiles, while it went well across it in the original shot. Other mistake: Speaking with Chen, Higgins tells him that she had Robin Master's IT experts "scrub every byte" of the computer Magnum used to upload the report, and there was no security breach on their end. Considering that she is with Magnum when they visit the crime scene that the police is still processing, it'd mean that the experts 'scrubbed' the computer doing a complete forensics analysis in an hour or so - assuming they did it on remote too, since obviously Robin Masters' team is not in Hawaii. Continuity mistake: When the culprit backs off from the door because of detective Katsumoto and drags Emily with him, she has her left shoulder covered with hair, a little hair, then no hair at all. Even more noticeably, when Higgins tells him that he does not have to do this etc, he is pulling her with him using his hand encumbered with the trinkets bag, but at the cut his hand is empty and directly on her bare shoulder. Continuity mistake: When Rick picks up Magnum's cheque, the envelope on the table is pointed with the right side closer to Magnum. When Magnum pics the envelope a moment later, it is the other way around, the closer side is the left one. (00:26:40)

Continuity mistake: Thomas gave the information about the comatose girl to his client. The client puts the phone down at an angle and relatively close. The next time we see the phone during conversation, it's aligned to the table and at greater distance, and when Rick arrives with the case file it's at an angle again. (00:24:15)

Magnum begins to explain he's "a little tight" on money, and in this new shot a ball moves across the pool table while the view of the table before cut lingered long enough for the balls to stop already. Continuity mistake: Right after the "girl power" fistbump, Higgins grabs her phone and there's a close-up of a Luther. In close-up, you see the right thumb on the side of the phone, but in the reverse shot the thumb is on the front of the device. (00:03:00)

Continuity mistake: The episode begins with the camera behind Juliett Higgins; she is leaning against her hand in a closed fist. Next, and we see her with the fingers straight and she makes a fist only a second later. (00:00:55)

Continuity mistake: When Magnum jumps over the garden wall, he bumps into rolled up rugs, unfurling one. Which looks the same way at the end of the scene when the same camera angle is used. But the middle part of the scene is shot in a different angle, closer to Tom Selleck's face as he crawls to Higgins and gets up, and in that angle the rugs are piled together in a different way, with the unrolled rug draped over the others. Audio problem: Back to the mansion after meeting Simon & Simon in the hotel room, Magnum narrowly misses the villain. Still clueless about it, runs to Higgins and hops over a wall. The ghastly yell he emits during his athletic effort is entirely off-pitch and at a different volume than his speech. They might as well have used a Wilhelm scream here. (00:41:30)
