Revealing mistake: The evil ninja blows a dart inside the barrel of a gun making it explode when the bodyguard fires. Forgetting the fact that the movement is unnatural and patently phony since the film is reversed, the dart also fully 'disappears' inside the gun and yet again when we see the guy about to shoot there's an inch-long of dart sticking out of the gun. Continuity mistake: Throughout the whole first fight scene the natural light is obviously different between shots. It is already noticeable at the very beginning when the golfer stands by the cart with much more sun on him in close-ups, but also even more obvious when the ninja downs the first opponent that falls in the shade but is lying fully in the sun as his partner assaults the not-so-elusive killer. Continuity mistake: The ninja suits up during the opening credits; he reaches inside the weapon stash with his left hand to pick the shurikens, but in the following shot he draws back his right hand. (00:02:40)

Bug: At the end of the battle with False Advent Orochi in Epic Quest, the "Continue Challenge" message flashes briefly on screen. The battle has no further phases and the message (accompanied by its blaring siren) appears in a completely different type of event.

Continuity mistake: When "Highball" scores a strike against the hobo, there is a reaction shot on the 4 homeless guys to the right. The one closest to the camera (rightmost one) is watching with his right hand on his knee, but his hand is on the hat he's wearing in the next shot. (00:58:10)

Other mistake: The watch that the poor man's Q of this movie provided is supposed to buy 10 seconds of time ("1 second stretched to 10, single use", that activates when he presses the wheel), but the power works in a completely different way, since in those "10 seconds" Deth takes his time to assess the situation and watch bullets float, then grabs Helen Hunt, stare his mortal enemy down without doing a thing to him and then carries her from the back parking lot of the store to the car parked in the front. Not even Husain Bolt (at most Dio Brando, with a very similar time-freeze gimmick) would be able to do that, not to mention that flying bullets somehow are slower than liquor pouring from a bottle.

Other mistake: When Jack tries to break free from the tanning booth, ramming his shoulder against the wall causes a severe burn that instantly singes the trenchcoat, but in the rest of the scene he keeps leaning against the same section of the booth without getting grilled. (00:29:45)

Continuity mistake: Leena somehow buys Deth's story, and he tells her eventually "So you'll help me." The steering wheel rotates significantly between shots. Same after a brief cut to Whistler when they pull over in front of the "Tropical Tube Tan"; suddenly Deth's left hand on top of the wheel becomes the right hand. (00:26:35 - 00:27:15)

Continuity mistake: Jack (p) reincarnated in his ancestor is talking to the booty call in the Santa suit. He mechanically repeats "Lost souls, yeah..." as he throws the tie over his shirt. He turns around, and in the next shot the tie conveniently adjusted itself going under the collar. (00:18:40)

Other mistake: Jack glances at the front of the baseball card the Consul gives him, and he says "Hap Ashby, 1963 Angels." He has no idea who that guy from 200 years before is, but the card does not say the year, and he's not a psychic. (00:15:55)

Continuity mistake: When Jack receives the baseball card from the Consul, he's holding the other photo from the top, which becomes the bottom in close-up. (00:15:55)

Visible crew/equipment: Jack just fished some junk out of the "Lost Angeles" sea. Reflected in the hubcaps, what appears to be (on the empty part of the beach) the camera crew. (00:07:50)

Character mistake: In the Kyokugen Karate team ending, Takuma says that Saishu (Saisyu) "Couldn'tve died from that." At most it'd be "couldn't've." The dialogue preceding the fight features also obvious mistranslations (such as Saisyu talking about being 'resurrected') and general SNK weirdness (like Ryo calling his Italian pal Robert "samurai-head").

Blood Pool Hall Murder Case File 2 - S2-E6

Stupidity: Even assuming that running in flipflops down the gravel road would give the culprit the required advantage over Kenmochi and Kindaichi, the culprit still had to run the elaborate setup in an absurdly short amount of time without leaving behind a single piece of gravel or wet stain (he was elbow deep in water) and hope nobody would set foot in the courtyard during the commotion.

Continuity mistake: When Miyuki points out that the atmosphere at the other table is rather gloomy, Amamoto has her chopsticks raised in one shot, absent from view in the next. (00:14:00)

Continuity mistake: In the intro of the game, Archie Wister talks to a young prison officer. The radio on the breast pocket of the officer changes size and details between shots, together with other details of the uniform like a nametag.

The Death March of Young Kindaichi File 4 - S2-E4

Stupidity: The whole gimmick of this story is fun but it's pure anime nonsense; we have a 28 years guy who has spent 18 years of his life in complete darkness and malnourished. The effect of this (a stunted growth) is somewhat plausible in general, but in here he still has the appearance of the cute 10-years-old kid who was locked in the dungeon, he's athletic and a charming, fluent speaker. I don't think it's much-needed to elaborate on how that is laughable (although to be fair at least they mention that he'd light a lamp two hours a day to read and was 'exercising', which since all he ate was rats and had no sunlight at all, wouldn't quite have done him a lot of good).

The Death March of Young Kindaichi File 3 - S2-E3

Other mistake: Kindaichi in this episode watches the footage of the events in the previous episode from Saki's handicam. Saki was running with the camera and the camera was jerking up and down a whole lot in those animations, but here the motion is very subtle. Li also was standing facing straight away from the door, parallel to it, but here he's more turned to the left.

Character mistake: In the cutscene before the fight against Saisyu, Rugal addresses King from the Women's team as such "Your mine, Kingy. Kiss, kiss." Besides the total cringe of an obviously made-up 'translation', this Rugal really has some problems with basic grammar.
