During this scene TC's boot on his chest changes orientation without being touched, from tip to the left ("You just gotta help me") to right ("Do you know how bad he can get hurt?") to left again. Continuity mistake: First scene in Higgins' study. Leon Platt is determined to go on with his fights even injured. He has his good hand on his daughter Ima's shoulder. She tells him "No daddy, you can't!" as he removes the hand, but in the following close-up on Shannen Doherty, the hand is back on the shoulder. (00:08:25)

He mentions the gym membership and there's a reaction on Caine being quite contemptuous about it. In the part that follows, Chuck's tie is above the jacket in close-ups and under it in the overhead shots of the room. (00:05:35)

Stupidity: Hard hats are a necessity but they leave something to be desired in terms of comfort and nobody really is overly fond of them. Yet in a Hollywood clichè, the construction workers chilling at the bar outside of work wear their hats, even the one guy who is retired (and still somehow knows where the guy Magnum looks for currently is). Continuity mistake: In the finale, Magnum is playing a solitaire. On the desk, the card on top row is an ace, then there are from right to left a 6 of hearts, a Jack of hearts, two spaces with cards face down, and a 5. When the village idiot makes Magnum turn the queen, he does it picking it between an 8 of hearts and a Jack of clubs that were not there before. (00:45:30)

Revealing mistake: Higgins speaks with the idiotic nephew of the most hated (temporary) new boss, who tells him uncle is in the Den. Higgins opens the door and before it cuts to the new scene, you can peek through the door and see that the lights are switched off; Higgins is walking into an empty room (would be fun if it were the broom closet, but it's actually the correct photoset, just with nobody there). Character mistake: In the phone call from Nova, there is one branch of the conversation that starts with the protagonist asking "Shouldn't you have used this call to contact a lawyer or something?" But the protagonist IS a lawyer (amongst many other things).
