The Great Wall (2016)

Plot hole: The Chinese army displays a great variety of (often anachronistic) weapons and they spent considerable resources arming and reinforcing the Great Wall to challenge the beasts who have been plaguing their land every 60 years for thousands of years. but despite having records of magnets being effective against them, with magnets being well known to them for centuries (early magnetic compasses were available in the IV century BC, and the movie is set in the XI century) they made no use of that at all.

Continuity mistake: Vera gets in her room with the other three 'Indians' outside. She carries no candles or other mean of illumination. Yet in the scene when she strips, starting right past the door, the room is brightly lit and a candelabrum is on her bedstand. Her candles went out during the incident that made her scream, so it makes no sense that there'd be warm light waiting for her in her room. (01:17:00)

Continuity mistake: Lombard asks the Doctor how would he know what was going through the Judge's mind, and Armstrong answers "I know because he took me into his confidence." Behind him, Blore is hunched over, with both hands together over the table. Armstrong turns his attention to Vera, and Blore now is sitting in a different pose, with his chin over his hand. (01:15:10)

Revealing mistake: When everyone enters the Judge's room and looks at him lying lifeless in bed, the room is in the dark. The light increases when the candles have been on the bedstand for a couple seconds already. (01:12:50)

Plot hole: The way Judge Cannon joins the ranks of the dead in this adaptation makes the most sense of all the others, since he dies in his bed fixing a variety of logic mistakes, but it suffers from a flaw found also in the 2015 BBC adaptation; Vera screams because her candles go out, which is not something the killer could have set up, as opposed to the scary items planted by the killer in the novel and in previous movies. Without it, the killer couldn't have devised the plan the way it is shown.

The Lovebirds (2020)

Continuity mistake: During the diner scene, once Leilani covers the imaginary bodycam and starts talking about his murderous beard, her hand position keeps changing between shots, together with the phone's position, sometimes close to her body, other times closer to the fries. And the phone is in an entirely different spot in the close-up when it starts vibrating. (00:16:35)

The Lovebirds (2020)

Continuity mistake: Leilani and Jibran are at the diner. No booze is served there, so they get milkshakes instead. In the establishing overhead shot there are no spoons in the shakes, they appear in the next shot. Which would be fine, but Leilani is playing with the spoon in that shot, and once he says that they should go to the police, her hand is gone. A few seconds later, Leilani's shake just moves entirely out of the way and is replaced by a plate of fries. (00:15:55)

Continuity mistake: When Martino is wandering the desert, delirious from the heat, his shirt is unbuttoned to half his chest or lower. When he is shown dead in a longshot, his shirt appears buttoned up higher than that. (00:51:05 - 00:52:20)

Other mistake: Throughout the 'blackout', no lights at all work and everyone has to get by with candles, torches and their own flashlights, but the main hall is perfectly lit, and even when they go rescue Vera who cried because her candles were blown out, the corridor behind Lombard has enough light to allow anyone to see without any problem. (01:11:10)

Continuity mistake: And then there were four. During their tense conversation in the lobby, the Doctor gets close to Lombard, who has his jacket in hand. He holds the jacket in a different way (sideways vs more frontal) in the two different shots. (01:15:00)

Continuity mistake: Blore is reluctant to admit his guilt. He stands up but the Judge bangs his cane angrily on the floor and Blore sits down again. The candles in front of the Judge have a different length between shots. (01:07:40)

Trivia: In the generator room, Blore yells to Vera when she arrives; "Ms. Clyde! I told you to stay up in your room." He did, but in 1965. In this version (which uses almost entirely the same script of the previous cinematographic version) Blore did not meet Vera again at the bottom of the stairs, so he's referencing something that didn't happen - however it can't be ruled out that it just happened off-camera. (01:03:10)

Stupidity: Martino's plan involves walking across the desert for 200 miles, in a raincoat, dress shoes, and nothing to cover his head. That's just silly and probably needed no sabotage from the killer at all, but he realises his compass was broken and his canteen emptied when it's already too late to go back. That's no subtle sabotage, in particular the compass being shattered, glass included. He didn't even perform a rudimentary check on his survival kit. (00:50:00)

Continuity mistake: Vera screams "No!" as Martino tries to pour her a drink. The man is holding the bottle with both hands in the next shot, in discontinuity with the pose he had before, leaning with the other hand against the back of the chair. (00:47:30)

Other mistake: The murderer is not a ghost or someone with supernatural powers, but he strangles Elsa from a spot she stepped on before the cut, and with no other possible item or structure they could have been hidden by. (00:33:25)

Other mistake: Once the General has been killed during the search party, everyone is in shock and they rush to the statues, to find out that their worst nightmare is true and one more little Indian was broken. But wait; before they checked that, apparently everyone thought it was best to freshen up and go through a complete wardrobe change, because everyone is in different clothes than before. In the following scene Blore speaks with the butler in the kitchen, wearing the same tuxedo he had earlier, and not the jacket and turtleneck displayed by the Indians, and Lombard is in his room, changing into his own jacket and turtleneck that already had by the Indians. (00:42:25)

Other mistake: After the third homicide, everyone gathers around the statuettes of the ten little Indians. Small problem, though. There are eleven little Indians. (00:42:20)

Ten Little Indians mistake picture

Continuity mistake: After the general is killed, there's a close-up on the figurines. Two are broken with just the feet left, the third, the rightmost, at the waist. When the second victim was murdered, we saw the killer break just its head off, the statue to the right of the halved one. The following shot shows the statues in that order, with the addition of third broken one in rightmost position. (00:34:15 - 00:42:15)

Continuity mistake: During the search, when the General says "Here I am" in the wide shot, Ilona turns around, but the General in the next shot comes from a different direction, which Ilona is already facing. (00:38:25)

Character mistake: Ancient Persians had a penchant for capital punishment and elaborate tortures, but tying a woman to a column and/or strangling her from behind were not "the way the ancient Persians used to execute a murderess", despite what Lombard says. (00:33:50)
