Revealing mistake: The first time we see Ferro's hot wife is through the photos he keeps in his locker at the station. In the scene in front of the locker, you can see his wristwatch. It's about 5 past 10. Later, we learn that the murder happened at half past 10. The locker scene is supposed to happen well after Ferro committed the murder. (00:09:15)

Revealing mistake: When Kojak drives to the store where the hostage situation takes place, the side mirror of the interior view does not match the car he arrives in. The footage is also noticeably sped up at the last turn, when he passes by a Delicatessen window and a Rent-a-car sign. (00:09:30)

Revealing mistake: A citizen just reported the armed robbery. In an interior shot of the patrol car, supposedly fast driving down the streets of Manhattan, the pedals of the car are visible in the left part of The Frame; there's no foot on the accelerator. They filmed a close-up of the radio inside a still car. (00:02:35)

Revealing mistake: When Buck and the gang ride away from the saloon in Dallas where JC made a few new 'friends', the footage is sped-up for a second just as soon as James Caan jumps on his horse. (00:05:50)

Revealing mistake: Dave Bautista announces that he has arrived. There's a close-up of the kickstand, and you can actually see scratches on the asphalt from previous takes (spotted also by Rian Johnson himself in his video breakdown of the arrival scene for the Vanity Fair youtube channel). Revealing mistake: Running away from the killer, Diana and Chin randomly get attacked by snakes, because why not. You can see in close-ups of Ilenia Pastorelli's face when she screams that there is no trace of the snake wrapped around the neck of the body double in other angles. (01:01:20)

Revealing mistake: Diana is blind and not accustomed yet to her condition; multiple times throughout the movie if she bumps into something she staggers or drops what she is holding - for instance she drops the shopping bags when she bumps into the post meeting Chin. And yet when she is escaping from the police at Chin's house, she bumps into a drying rack and does not even flinch - in fact if you look closely you can see that the actress moved her hand on purpose to hit it cleanly at the proper angle that would make it fold. Revealing mistake: Diana's dog breaks free from her captivity with the slightest push against an unlocked pen. (01:15:35)

Revealing mistake: Diana needs to make herself a new DIY cane. She tried to break a few branches, and one eventually makes a snapping sound - you can see though that it just slips into her hand coming from out of the frame. (01:08:00)

Revealing mistake: Ispettore Baldacci gets hit by the evil van, and you can see as he flies back from the impact that his face is clean, but in close-up of course all of a sudden his face is a crimson mask. (00:43:05)

Revealing mistake: When inspector Gerry Baldacci gets in the way of the white van (as if there were a single white van in all of Italy), you can see on the asphalt the single distinct tire marks of the perfect size and path from previous takes. (00:43:00)

Revealing mistake: After the accident, some bystanders rush to the car hit by Diana's. A woman leans against the car window spotting a child inside; you can see on the window very conspicuous handprints in that spot from previous takes. (00:17:10)

Revealing mistake: After Pettibon strong-arms the protagonists out of the bet, Chaney makes a cryptic proposal to Speed, about driving around and seeing the sights. There's a shot of the car that not only feels 'off' because it's sped up, but also sees the stand-in for Poe and the one for Chaney have swapped position. (00:37:00)

Revealing mistake: Establishing shots of the party where Chaney will fight Pettibon's guy; when we see the band play and people dance, the footage is rather obviously stopped and reversed to give the impression of a longer shot (evidently they had too little usable film of the crowd dancing). Revealing mistake: The 50 dollar bills that appear in the opening credits all have the same serial number (and you can find online the texture they used with great ease, just like the one for the 20 dollar bills stack). (00:03:45)

Revealing mistake: When Copperfield meets an untimely demise, Vince Martin' s stunt double that performs the fall is recognizable as such (his hair does not even remotely match). (00:03:25)

Revealing mistake: The sequence when Wino Henry gets hit by the tail of the gator and thrown against the wall is all sorts of wrong; in the first part of it, the victim is just standing there in the silliest way and in fact professional bum actor Carmen Filpi 'corpses' waiting for the special effect to happen. In the second part, he's replaced by a poorly disguised stuntman. (00:29:20)

Revealing mistake: Jackson is fighting with the older guy at the party. In their struggle, the gun fires once. Ryan Gosling turns around at the appropriate time, but half the extras react to the supposed noise a second late, some don't even do that. (00:48:00)

Revealing mistake: Brown grabs the contracts and runs away. He and his trusted henchman spot the alligator; in the shot just before the one where Brown gives the ever useful order "Kill him", the alligator is visible in all its fakery. (01:14:15)

Revealing mistake: The alligator emerges from the lake and after knocking back a Carrot Top clone, he begins scuttling through the crowd. In the orgy of poor special effects, it's of particular note a shot where people supposedly are running away from the beast but half the extras are giggling and one guy doesn't even bother to run, just glances bored at the 'monster' less than 2 meters away from him.
