Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: When AJ irritates James chirping "Me so horny" in his ear, the car comes to a full stop and AJ bumps his head. At least in theory, since it appears it's more a camerawork effect than the car actually coming to a screeching halt. In the close-up within the car, Ice Cube is also holding the wheel firmly with both hands up, in the 10 and 2 position. But in the wider angles the person in the driver seat is holding the wheel more casually than that. (00:33:55)

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: When in the club AJ introduces the lady friends who are totally not prostitutes, Ben has both hands on the Assface phone in the wider shot but just one hand on it in the closer angle that leaves his head out of frame. (00:36:35)

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: Ben is taking a picture of AJ between two strippers and their gazongas. AJ, facing some stereophonic chest compression, says "I can't breath no more"; next to Ben's phone you can see the non-prostitute holds her drink with the right hand. In the last shot that girl is holding it in the left hand. (00:36:50)

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: AJ calls for the toast for Ben; the escort sitting next to Kevin Hart claps her hands along with the others for "Toast! Toast!", but in the following shot her hand that was up in the air to clap before the cut is suddenly back on his shoulder. (00:37:20)

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Character mistake: Ben counts the bullet the hitman is shooting in the club. His count reaches "13,14..." but the killer shot already 15 shots by the point his count begins, and he suddenly squeals "He's out" when he hasn't shot a fifteenth by his own count. It's funny that he does that anyway though, since the FN Five-seven the villain uses has a magazine capacity of 10, 20 (the standard) or 30 rounds. He wouldn't be out of bullets at that point. Ride Along 2 (2016)

Revealing mistake: In the foot chase between Ben and AJ, they go past some clotheslines, then run down an alley. The shadows in the reverse angle don't match the footage from the front. Also, in one shot Ken Jeong is doing a bit of a swerve towards the right of the screen that is not consistent with the view from behind (looks like he is dodging the camera filming him: his character needs to go in that direction anyway, but only a couple of shots later). Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: Pronouncing the line "Don't mix our thongs together again, please", Angela is waving her right hand around, stopping and lowering it off-frame before the end of the sentence. James has heard enough of that and turns around putting his shades on. At the cut, Tika Sumpter is holding her hand up. (00:22:20)

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: James is talking to Captain Hernandez while Ben rages on Pinterest. Hearing the laughter, James looks towards it. Right side of the frame, and a man in a pink shirt is sitting down at his desk. Cut, and he's still standing. (00:24:35)

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: Detective Maya Cruz offers to shake hands with Ben Barber after the soft tissue manipulation, and he bitchily slaps her hand away. The hair rests on Olivia Munn's shoulder differently between shots. And when Ice Cube goes past her, she is facing literally the opposite way between shots. (00:25:45)

Other mistake: In Story Mode, the first chapter of the World Youth segment has a Shingo Aoi mission titled "In Italy, they call him 'El Principe del Sole' ." No they would not!"El" is Spanish, the definite article in italian is "il." Il Principe del Sole, is how they would call him.

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: The protagonists are talking in the car after the first contact with the Miami police. In close-up Ice Cube is holding his phone with the message from "Smurf" in his right hand. He's using that hand to drive in a rapid switch between shots a moment later. (00:27:40)

Continuity mistake: When Ben hops up and puts his hands on the top of the wood boards peeking at AJ sneaking away from the backdoor, Kevin Hart's hands are on different boards/in a different position every time. (00:28:30)

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: Throughout the corridor walk at the police station when James talks to his boss there are innumerable continuity errors. Just look at the people behind Lt. Brooks and James Payton. People appear, disappear, reappear between cuts several times. (00:11:40)

Continuity mistake: After the pixel Grandma blew his brains off, Ben peeks at his wife-to-be and Cori making arrangements. He peeks from the corner, head tilted, straightens and comes forward two times in two separate shots. (00:15:00)

Continuity mistake: When Ben is hit in the head by the ceiling fan, look when he crashes into the shelves. There are three frames on the floor leaning against the wall and he goes head first in one, but in the close-up of Kevin Hart there are at least four and his cranium does not connect with any of them. Continuity mistake: James drops by his sis' place and tells Ben they're going to Miami. Kevin Hart says incredulous "Miami, James? I'm going?" In the background Tika Sumpter suddenly has her hands together under her chin, while her arms are crossed in all the other shots of the scene. (00:20:35)
