Continuity mistake: Jamie is holding at (toy) gunpoint Eddie; she has her thumb on the 'barrel', but it cuts mid-sentence to a close-up as she says "You don't cut me out and don't talk to me like a child", and her thumb is now on the 'fore-end' (if it makes sense with a toy weapon). (00:31:25)

Stupidity: The supposed criminal mastermind had exactly what he wanted right at the beginning; all he wants is killing the girl, and he knows (he says it himself) that he is facing just mall cops who carry no weapons. But he utterly wastes for no reason the 'first contact', when his intentions are not known to the occupants. If only he had a gun, or brought along a guy hiding a weapon instead of 'suitcase full of bribe money dude' (which only shows how easy it would have been for him to have backup), he could have easily killed everyone through the doors when they were sitting ducks, with no fear of retaliation whatsoever. Nobody as ruthless and daring as he supposedly is, would show up unarmed for no reason.

Other mistake: Throughout the game (cutscene with Terry, banner and posters in Billy Kane's stage) several times the name of the tournament is written "King of THE Fighters", with a misplaced "THE" that screams betrayal considering the most popular SNK franchise and storyline tournament, started by the first Fatal Fury itself, is "The King of Fighters", the complete title of the first FF being "Fatal Fury; King of Fighters."

Continuity mistake: When the evil boss is trying to talk Vance into opening the door, in certain shots the gap between the doors is barely as wide as Ben Kingsley's head, in others the gap is much larger, and he is leaning closer to either side. (00:28:00)

Continuity mistake: When Vance does the military salute to welcome Eddie on the team, getting an icy stare and "Really?", in the two shots there's a glaring discontinuity in the position of Vance's epaulette, arched in the first shot, straightened out perfectly in the second. (00:20:15)

Continuity mistake: As Marianne (sort of) orders a daiquiri, Penelope is leaning back deep into the chair, hands and arms off the table. Next shot she's leaning forward, arms on the table. (00:10:40)
