Gemini Man (2019)

Continuity mistake: At the culmination of his bike-fu Young Will Smith torpedoes the motorcycles at his older self; the move initiates with a wind-up time marked by a huge skidmark on the asphalt. But in the next shot there's no mark, and the kamikaze run starts from a different point. (00:41:25)

Gemini Man (2019)

Stupidity: Despite the fact that the villains know exactly where Brogan is for the better part of the movie thanks to a tracer, and that they display constantly that they are able and willing to hit with bold military operations even to the point of hitting an urban area overruling law enforcement (apparently Clay has authority to do that too), Brogan is able to get undisturbed back in the US through his friend's plane. Considering he was officially marked as a rogue agent and killed 8 DIA operatives, it's hard to see how Baron's plane could ever land on American soil after a long intercontinental flight.

Gemini Man (2019)

Plot hole: Apparently, in 20 years Junior and his dad never once discussed the subject of his birthday, aka "If I am an orphan, how do we know when my birthday is." It is something that can have so many perfectly innocent explanations that Junior can't verify ("It's the day I found you" being one) that would be tremendously odd and inconsiderate of the manipulative villain to not even have conceived a shred of a back story for it (in fact he should have been the one feeding it to him first at a young age). Gemini Man (2019)

Gemini Man mistake picture

Continuity mistake: In the movie ending, the three main characters (and two main actors) are walking off together following Will Smith Sr. That 'knows a place' to eat. Notice on the left part of the frame, along the path they are traveling, a couple of students; he has a beige jacket, yellow-ish sneakers and jeans, she has a blue jacket, and they are talking with another girl with a lighter blue jacket. In the next shot Danny asks him "So you settled down on major yet?" and the two aforementioned students are behind them, standing at the beginning of the walkway. (01:45:35)

Gemini Man (2019)

Plot hole: The villain is hellbent on killing Henry, or his secret cloning project may be exposed. His 'son' Junior fails to kill Henry in Hungary in a train of events starting at midnight, local time, and that takes at least an hour between action and mundane offscreen necessities like flight preparations. He then shows up in his office in Georgia to inform him of his failure. It was a flight over 8,000 kms long; let's factor in the 6 hours time difference between Budapest and the EST and assume he took off right away; his dad is at the office at 3 or 4 AM, unsuspecting and quietly doing other work apparently unrelated to the most important matter his whole business hinges on, not a worry about Brogan being obviously not dead (he knows where he is due to the chip). And there is enough time left in the night for all the big climax of the movie to happen, including mobilizing a large force for urban combat without a soul in the streets.

Gemini Man (2019)

Plot hole: Mending the wounds Junior received in the Colombian mission, Clay asks him "Did you get a look at his face?" And Junior replies "Not really. I saw him at the stairs through a dirty mirror." First big issue; do we have to believe that the guy was sent to kill Henry without knowing how he looks? We do learn later in the movie that Henry has been chipped, but Junior is stalking him as a sniper/hunter and is not using a HUD to track him. Plus, the movie explicitly negated it earlier; Henry himself in Cartagena asked Junior "Did they show you a picture of me?" to which he replied "Yeah, you look old." So Clay's question is really odd and suspect (if anything draws attention on something he should be trying to hide). Second problem; Junior fought Henry in a close-up fight at the end of the chase, the mirror bit was not their only encounter! Why would he lie to his supposed father, especially when he is trying to get answers from him? (00:47:00)

Gemini Man (2019)

Continuity mistake: At the traffic lights, Junior receives a 'call' through his ear bud from Clay Verris. In close-up the young Will Smith has his raised hand with his fingers curled, but in the next shot they have straightened up some. (01:27:10)

Daphne & Velma (2018)

Continuity mistake: Daphne has just set food inside Ridge Valley High. "This is incredible, she says", and at the cut there's a couple of students who are engaged in some animated conversation. But one of the two (dark skinned guy with tan pants and a denim jacket) appears in the shots before and after that one, and he is walking solo. (00:07:15)

Daphne & Velma (2018)

Other mistake: Daphne's dad drops the Legitimate Tulip badge in front of her so she'll avoid getting hurt, but when we see him do that, he does it before the warning for the ball is heard and seemingly not looking at the danger (especially in the second shot, when he is peeking from the corner). So his action makes no sense. (00:16:55)

Daphne & Velma (2018)

Continuity mistake: In the ending, Griffin and the others are contemplating the main hall screen being unplugged and talk about life. Ryder tells him "You're number one in our book", with behind him a couple jocks walking down the hall with a football. The chat goes on and on, those two pass behind them few seconds later as they do their hand waving thingy, but are still approaching in the next shot. (01:09:20)

Daphne & Velma (2018)

Continuity mistake: Aunt Piper comes back into her office when the conflict has been resolved; Arden Myrin holds the blue ball bot with her hands positioned differently between shots (for instance, when she mentions "Cheyenne, Wyoming" her left hand that she just positioned below the ball in the previous shot, is at the side of it. Daphne & Velma (2018)

Plot hole: During the presentation of Bloom Innovative's pizza printer, the villain who pulls the strings of the whole operation (and controls Bloom) is in the audience. Since Bloom at the end of the movie is not depicted as a sophisticated AI but just a holographic projection, it appears impossible that he could do his stage performance and interact (verbally at least) with principal and audience. Daphne & Velma (2018)

Stupidity: Daphne and Velma's adventure in the corridor behind the school lockers begins when they enter the theater backstage from a random door opened by a button that is lit up in the dark, effectively negating the "secret tunnel system" status. Why would anyone build a corridor with an entrance into school lockers so secret that it's invisible from the outside, and then put a button-activated entrance to it in another location, even making the button a fully lit one shining in the dark?

Daphne & Velma (2018)

Continuity mistake: When Velma serves the goopy yellowness to the three Slitherin knockoffs, many continuity issues arise; the quantity of material is different in the close-up, and later varies again. Also, Mike takes his portion, but there's one in front of him right at the cut. Actually, he took Griffin's portion, but Griffin has one right in front of himself again, appeared between shots. On top of all that, the same extra (nerdy glasses and light grey sweater) walks behind the trio starting when Griffin calls himself 'new leader' and resuming several seconds later ("You mean because he tanked"), still at the same exact spot as before. Daphne & Velma (2018)

Daphne & Velma mistake picture

Continuity mistake: The scene with Daphne and Velma trying to talk some sense into Carol about the Spencer issue begins with Daphne close to the gap between two tables (look at the shot that precedes the moment when Velma clears her throat), and seemingly no space for anyone to join on Carol's left. When Mikayla joins she finds a lot of space though, and no wonder; from a wider angle it's obvious that now it's an entirely different table. (00:29:20)

Daphne & Velma (2018)

Other mistake: For some reason, getting to school Velma does not simply fail to change path for anyone in her way, but actually, deliberately, gets in the way. During that sequence, she ends up bumping a girl with a muffin, and stomping on it. But the girl with the muffin was already in the same spot (just past a couple who is chatting) well before, when Velma moved between other two chatters, with a guy on a scooter changing course. Daphne & Velma (2018)

Other mistake: Daphne and Velma ruin Mikayla's exhibition that is set to begin at 4 PM, so they must be in the corridors way before that time (when they poke out of the locker secret door from the inside, the hallway clock does in fact point 5 minutes to 4). They get then chased by the ghost and find the secret lab. When they come out of it to prepare for their Bloom mission, they pass in front of the principal's hall as one of their first actions, and it's a quarter past 7 (or 6). There's really no way they spent over two or three hours doing all that - not to mention that during the call with the mom she says she was tired and wants to finish the work tonight, which is something certainly possible to say mid-afternoon but more likely at an hour when it is dark outside like the one shown in the film finale, and Velma picks up the a drone that is snoring in a rather dark room, making even more obvious how the time seem to have gone by in a blink. Daphne & Velma (2018)

Continuity mistake: Daphne talks to Carol about her dad being her clothing closet and she helps her with the technological T-shirt. Throughout the scene you can see the same extras being recycled doing a meaningless back and forth, and bearing some inconsistencies. For instance when we see her hand the shirt, and when a few seconds later after she messes with the phone the color swatch HUD pop up, the same guy with a beanie hat walk in twice. (00:20:50 - 00:21:30)

Daphne & Velma (2018)

Continuity mistake: When the Conflict Couch's "extreme mode" is activated, its armrests slide closer to both Daphne and Velma. They move independently from the blocks forming the back. However, when Aunt Piper grabs the Timothy Bot ball saying "Hang in there", the armrest block close to Daphne is perfectly aligned with the back of the couch. (00:26:15)

Daphne & Velma (2018)

Continuity mistake: Daphne just met Spencer and Mikayla. In this scene, multiple continuity errors occur, practically at every shot For instance, the two girls close to the glass cabinet change position, and in the first shot ("Wait, your mom invented MatchMouth?") a tall girl and a boy with an afro walk by, disappear, popping by just before a new cut, when they disappear again, reappear, etc. (00:08:20)
