Revealing mistake: Batman and Robin, thanks to the Joker's generous hint, are at the toy factory. In the wide shot just before the phrase "Look sharp, Robin", look at the shadow on the ground; Batman's cape deflates, but the shadow does not move and is still just as wide as it was before. Other mistake: When Batman listens to the tape left behind by the security guard (and the police's incredibly sloppy investigation) he presses play and not only the tape is at the right point without him having to rewind, but the recording is much different from the actual events and gives him a convenient abridged version. Character mistake: When Batman looks up at the computer the data of the burglaries, he says they happened "this week", but the dates are June 28, July 3, and July 13. On the screen there's also a typo; "Buaglary." (00:05:00)

Character mistake: A description encountered very early (before the first, obligatory, death, and any other time that leads to be poisoned by the soup) mentions that "It smells sweet and mellow [...] IT'S aroma is very enticing." Obviously it should be "its."

Continuity mistake: On his way to goal, Tsubasa realises that the Shuutetsu Trio is chasing him. That is already a pretty big comeback, but Teppei Kisugi tackles him coming from the front, even. (00:20:45)

Other mistake: There were 3 defenders not taking part to the birdcage strategy, but Tsubasa does not have to beat any of them, except Takasugi who tries an American football tackle that would be penalized even by the very loose standards of the referees of this anime, and that happens as if he had to intercept him coming from behind; by every logic he should be in front of him. Character mistake: According to the tactical reading of Tsubasa's dad, Tsubasa's flaw is that he's not used to team play since he's just been playing with the ball on his own from a tender age. Just seconds before, Genzo made the comment that Tsubasa is a clever player that can read the passes of his opponents instantly. So he's both clueless about team play and an expert on it in the space of 30 seconds.

Continuity mistake: Genzo parried Tsubasa's shot. When he waves to his teammates saying it's their chance, he is barehanded instead of wearing his keeper gloves. (00:05:30)
