Blood Pool Hall Murder Case File 2 - S2-E6

Stupidity: Even assuming that running in flipflops down the gravel road would give the culprit the required advantage over Kenmochi and Kindaichi, the culprit still had to run the elaborate setup in an absurdly short amount of time without leaving behind a single piece of gravel or wet stain (he was elbow deep in water) and hope nobody would set foot in the courtyard during the commotion.

The Death March of Young Kindaichi File 4 - S2-E4

Stupidity: The whole gimmick of this story is fun but it's pure anime nonsense; we have a 28 years guy who has spent 18 years of his life in complete darkness and malnourished. The effect of this (a stunted growth) is somewhat plausible in general, but in here he still has the appearance of the cute 10-years-old kid who was locked in the dungeon, he's athletic and a charming, fluent speaker. I don't think it's much-needed to elaborate on how that is laughable (although to be fair at least they mention that he'd light a lamp two hours a day to read and was 'exercising', which since all he ate was rats and had no sunlight at all, wouldn't quite have done him a lot of good).

The Death March of Young Kindaichi File 3 - S2-E3

Other mistake: Kindaichi in this episode watches the footage of the events in the previous episode from Saki's handicam. Saki was running with the camera and the camera was jerking up and down a whole lot in those animations, but here the motion is very subtle. Li also was standing facing straight away from the door, parallel to it, but here he's more turned to the left.

The Death March of Young Kindaichi File 3 - S2-E3

Plot hole: The crowd freaks out when Matsuoka's body is found and Kindaichi happens to be standing in front of it, gun in hand. That's all sorts of silly though, not only because the killer could have never predicted that turn of events, but also because Kindaichi roamed the streets looking for Matsuoka, gun in hand the whole time (it's a different gun from the one Matsuoka is killed with), and it's a girl screaming that draws everyone's attention to the murder. What about the two gunshots? Everyone in the background was entirely unfazed. It also creates a separate issue in the ending, since the plan to frame Kindaichi was supposed to be 'perfect' but the different gun would have spoiled it. (00:08:35)

The Death March of Young Kindaichi File 2 - S2-E2

Plot hole: It's unreasonable, nor is explained in the denouement at the end of this arc, how did the murderer, who stayed behind everyone else on purpose, get to Shinomiya who was ahead of everyone, went inside the cave before everyone else and didn't have a reason to hide, cooperate with him or anything of the sort.

The Death March of Young Kindaichi File 2 - S2-E2

Other mistake: When Kindaichi rushes to Longtao's rescue, he is not carrying the flashlight with him. He's in a deep cave bunker with no light at all (plot point mere moments earlier), he should be blind as a bat. In the following episode he even searches for clues in the cave, again without the light.

The Death March of Young Kindaichi File 2 - S2-E2

Other mistake: The two survivors from 18 years prior approach the building with nothing on their person, then suddenly Matsuoka has a flashlight, which he gives to Shinomiya as he goes inside alone. Kindaichi and Longtao arrive, completely unprepared to any dungeon crawling, and the three of them go in with yet another flashlight. (00:13:50)

The Death March of Young Kindaichi File 2 - S2-E2

Continuity mistake: When Kindaichi falls from the cart, the boxes around him are placed in a way that it's not just incongruous continuity-wise from shot to shot, but is also nonsensical; in one shot for instance he has a box through each leg, but since Longtao smuggled him out inside them, both legs had to be inside the same box; the cardboard was surrounding him. The Game Mansion Murder Case File 3 - S1-E25

Stupidity: The killer's plan is rather clever, but there's a huge hole in it; assuming the killer needs to be part of the game to set up the traps, there's absolutely no reason for the person they want to -benefit - from the crime to be part of the game. In fact, it is absolutely crazy; they were not involved at all, ignoring who the victim was, and if you wanted them to inherit from the victim, you'd want them to be MILES away from the crime instead of endangering them and inevitably implicate them. If all went smoothly, the police and media would surely have been on their case for the huge coincidence; they survive a murder and inherit from the victim of said murder.
