Question: Towards the end of the film when Graves has been revealed to be Korean, why is he still using an English accent?

Answer: By this stage, it's become a habit.

Question: Does Neo die at the end? The end of the film kind of left me wondering whether he was dead or just comatose or something like that, while the machines carried him off.

Answer: Pretty sure he's dead. It would be in keeping with the Christian themes found in the movie. The One died to save the world.

Nikki

Answer: That would be Rob Zombie's Track - Dragula [Hot Rod Herman Remix].

Question: What was in the box that the locals brought with them from the general store when they went to the cabin to take care of the infected teens? They referred to it as the kit, and it was carried by the heavy bald guy who got the screwdriver in his ear.

Answer: It was never revealed.

Question: Where can I find the music track in the trailer where Aragorn is saying "I see in your eyes the same fear" up to "This day, we fight"? Is it on the soundtrack?

Answer: Unfortunately, it's not on the soundtrack. The music in the latter half of the trailer was composed by Howard Shore and two collaborators (Simone Benyacar and Craig Stuart Garfinkle) specifically for that trailer. It's based on a track called "Epicalypse", which, in turn, is based on Howard Shore's "Gondor" theme.

Question: Does anyone know what that whole "three sea shells" thing is all about? Was there anything that let us know exactly how they worked?

troy fox

Chosen answer: No, they kept it a joke throughout the movie.

Question: This is a question for both X-1 and X-2. Is the actor that plays Mystique wearing a body suit for her blue makeup? In several scenes in both movies it looks like she is practically naked with just blue painting.

iceverything776

Chosen answer: In almost all cases, yes, she's naked, but for a few strategically placed prosthetics.

Question: When was there a Mini Shaguar? It could have just not been used in the American version, but I also may have missed it.

Jackie Menechino

Chosen answer: In a trailer shown on the Infinifilm DVD, Verne Troyer stars with lots of little people which looks to parody the trailer from the first film. In the end, he flips into the Mini-Shaguar.

Question: When Harry's parents are shown in the mirror, are they supposed to be the age that they were when they died or the age they would be if they were still alive?

sdgirl98

Chosen answer: Since the mirror is reflecting Harry's desire, they are probably an idealized (to Harry) image of what they would look like if they were still alive.

Xofer

That doesn't explain how Harry could see rest of the Potter family. Surely, they weren't just in his mind?

In the movie he only sees his parents.

lionhead

Answer: He didn't just desire his parents but a whole family. Therefore he saw his entire family.

In the novel he saw his whole family. In the movie, he only saw his parents.

Question: What does it mean to "bend it"? I'm assuming this is a soccer term...?

Ral0618

Chosen answer: It means that the ball curves when in flight - typically after a free kick is taken. During a free-kick, the defenders will form a wall between the kicker and the goal. So instead of kicking the ball in a straight line, spin is added so that, hopefully, it curves around the side of the wall.

jle

Chosen answer: The hiatus and the cancellation were for the same reason, a dispute over ownership between Matt Groening and Fox. Fox actually own the majority of the interest in the Simpsons, but their stake in Futurama is much more limited. This gives Groening more bargaining power with the show, and unfortunately Fox were unhappy with this so put the show on hiatus and then cancelled it.

Question: How does Tyler know where Marla lives to save her from killing herself, if both Tyler and Edward Norton have never been to her apartment?

Melissa

Chosen answer: She had to have told Tyler after he picked up the phone. After all, she wasn't surprised when he showed up.

Grumpy Scot

Chosen answer: A briar patch is basically a thorn bush. For insight as to what Riker meant when he said, "Let's use this briar patch the way Brehr Rabbit did," Take a look at http://www.otmfan.com/html/brertar.htm.

Garlonuss

Answer: The reference is from Disney's Song of the South. A group of children listen to a old man's tall tales of a dumb Rabbit and Bear.

Question: Why does Jabba get so..."intimate" with Leia? He has her pressed against his belly when she was first captured, and licked his lips (and, in numerous other sources - all official adaptations or even the script itself - say that he "kissed" her). The next time we see her, she's nearly naked, and chained by her neck to his throne. In this time, he keeps pulling her chain, forcing her body to be close to his. Finally, he pulls her to himself on the Sail Barge, and purrs into her face that she'll learn to appreciate him. Any ideas, suggestions, or thoughts - but no criticism - are welcome. I'm trying to collect thoughts.

redbaron2000

Answer: Jabba was a mob boss, who wanted to replace the slave girl he killed when she refused his advances. He knew that Leia was a strong and independent woman and wanted to break her spirit.

Chosen answer: I've always thought it was just a plot device they used to show what a bad guy Jabba is. If you didn't see those things you might actually like him. He's powerful, rich, intelligent, and certainly has a sense of style. All in all I think it just shows that he has a sickness about him that warrants him being killed.

Question: When David drives up to see Winnie to apologize for his childhood behaviour, he drives up to the house through what looks like the woods. Does anyone know that area of IL (Bensonville) and why there would be no formal road leading to Winnie's house?

ChiChi

Chosen answer: I don't know the area, but there is nothing unusual about a dirt road leading to a house, both my wife's parents and her brother have a long dirt road that leads to the house from a major road. It's common as the city or county doesn't usually have the budget to pave/maintain roads out past the city limits.

Question: What happened to Marrion from the first series? She wasn't seen or mentioned in series two.

Answer: She's not in it. There is a woman called Joyce, who could be seen as a replacement, but she has a much smaller part. I haven't heard why this happened.

Ian Hudson

Question: What exactly is Leo saying to Anderton when he "confesses" to kidnapping his son? I can't make out most of what he's whispering in this scene - I caught something about pretzels when he first started speaking, then when Anderton asks if he's still alive, he said something about a barrel.

Answer: Leo: "I told him I was a policeman. I told him I needed his help. It wasn't so bad. I sang him a song, I bought him a pretzel. I bought him a pretzel! He was happy. He was happy." Anderton: "Is he alive? He's alive? Where have you got him? Is he all right? Tell me, you f**k! Where is he?" Leo : "I put him in a barrel. I sunk him in the bay. It floated back up. I took him out. I was gentle (3 times). I'm sorry (4 times). I'm so very sorry." Anderton: "How could you do that to my boy?" They fight. Anderton points his gun at Leo. Leo: "I'm sorry" Agatha: "You can choose. You can choose." Anderton: "You have the right to remain silent...", etc.

Question: I know there are several websites devoted to the "count" of the number of men that each character has slept with. Does anyone know where one of these would be?

shortdanzr

Chosen answer: Try http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/entertainment/7631192.htm, which has these (and other) statistics for the entire series, except for the last eight episodes (scroll down to 'SEX' by the numbers).

J I Cohen

Chosen answer: Trey Parker and Matt Stone have said that they're making fun of the media; Canadians are very similar to Americans, yet the US media often portrays them has being very different. Trey Parker apparently grew up around a lot of Mormons and, we can infer, organised religion didn't make a good impression on him.

jle

Answer: For the Mormon thing, there's the fact that it's set in Colorado, which is next door to Utah, the center of Mormonism.

Question: Was the minigun used by Jesse Ventura in Predator the same one (as in the same physical prop, not just the same model and/or configuration) later used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2?

J I Cohen

Chosen answer: Check out http://www.montysminiguns.com/MoviePage.htm. This site confirms that the same minigun is used in both movies, and is (or was) on display at the Allegheny Arms and Armor Museum in Smethport, Pennsylvania.
