Question: Am I the only one who thinks the Federation uniforms look like Nazi uniforms, especially Carl's Leather Jacket? They also have insignia on the collar, as the Waffen SS did.

Answer: This is intentional, since the government in the movie is a fascist, totalitarian one, not unlike the Nazis (this fact is played up more in the book).

Question: Is there any explanation as to why Obi-Wan doesn't use force speed to get through the hallway while Qui-Gon and Darth Maul are fighting?

Answer: It's never really stated that he doesn't. It is a very long corridor, and he was quite far behind. He may have been "saving" his force powers to use in the fight, or Maul may have been exerting his own influence to either stop or dull Obi wan's own force powers. It may have even been the force's own will. Maul was quite easily holding his own against the two, and technically defeated them both. Without the anger/rage that Obi Wan felt after seeing Qui Gon get cut down, he probably wouldn't have fought half as well, and Maul would have emerged victorious.

Question: Where can I find some hand held fans like the ones used in Masquerade? I'm pretty sure they don't sell them in regular department stores, like Wal-Mart or something, but I can't think of where to look.

Answer: They have them at Party City. Try other party goods stores or costume shops.

Question: Does anyone know why the deleted scene in the DVD was cut from the release?

Answer: Because it only slowed the action down without bringing anything new to the plot.

Sereenie

Question: Does anyone know why the Three Little Pigs have a German accent?

Question: In the prison, the priest has several books, a chair, table, etc. Where did he get these things? I assume he wasn't given them, as the prisoners are expected to live with absolutely no creature comforts. He could have made the chair and table, but out of what? He wouldn't have been given any materials. How would he make something out of nothing?

Answer: Priests, as men of God, tend to be considered differently from others - it's reasonable to think that the guards would have allowed him a few privileges denied the other prisoners.

Question: What is Lynn's connection to the Nite Owl killings?

Answer: She doesn't really have one - not directly, anyway. The only link is that Susan Lefferts died at the Night Owl, and Bud saw Lynn with Lefferts when he was buying the alcohol for the party. Lefferts had the bandage on her nose at the time, which sparked Bud's curiosity and prompted him to seek out Lynn after Lefferts was murdered.

Answer: Essentially, yes, although much of it was actually inspired by the death of Cameron Duncan, a young filmmaker who was a friend of the cast and crew.

Question: Is Wolverine actually a 'mutant'? Since he had the adamantium surgically grafted in his skin, it didn't come naturally like mutants do.

Answer: Yes, his mutant abilities are enhanced senses, enhanced strength and agility and rapid healing, along with retractable bone claws. His healing factor is what allowed him to survive the implantation of the adamantium.

Question: Why do Nicky, Adrian and Chasias always stand on things that are hot? examples include: Nicky sitting on a barbecuer at the apartment, Adrian (as the priest) standing on a perfectly good pepperoni pizza (shame on him) and so on, so why do they stand on hot things?

Answer: They all grew up in Hell, so Earth is freezing cold to them.

Question: I remember watching this in a cinema while i was in America and at the end when Fiona goes to kiss the prince she headbutts him instead. But when i got it on DVD in the UK she doesn't headbutt him but hits his neck. I guessing they changed this for the violence rating, but my question is: is this only changed on UK DVD or everywhere?

Answer: In the UK, headbutts are frowned upon by the ratings boards. Films such as The Matrix, Wild, Wild West and Fight Club all had to remove headbutts from the UK versions. As for the headbutt in other versions, the UK version is the only reported version to have the headbutt removed. http://www.dvdcompare.net is a great site to compare other versions of DVDs from around the world.

Question: When I saw this movie in theaters, I seem to recall a scene where Gimli had to be blindfolded because they were entering a sacred Elf place in a forest. Gimli doesn't want to be, but Aragorn (I think) says that they will all go blindfolded. I can't find it in the DVD release but my friend, who has actually read the book, says that the scene is in book. Did they cut the shot out or did I just pluck this out of thin air?

Answer: That scene is only in the book, it was never in any cut of the film.

Question: I know that someone has earlier stated that the girl in red was the only thing shown in color in the movie (except for the last scene), but I'm pretty sure that some of the candles were in color. Is this true?

Answer: Yes.

RJR99SS

Question: In the credits it lists the name of the dark haired bride as Verona - it does this in the game as well - but I can't find that name spoken anywhere in the film. Where is it, if anywhere?

Answer: Her name is never spoken, but the two other brides' names, Aleera and Marishka, are spoken.

Question: One of the Easter Egg entries says an egg is on every DVD and can be accessed by entering '35' when the alien writing appears on the screen. I have tried this, but it doesn't work. Can someone please go into a little more detail for me or explain why it might not work? The other easter eggs can be accessed fine.

Answer: I did some research around the net and it seems this only works with region 2 DVDs.

Question: Why did Dudley order the killings at the Nite Owl in the first place?

Answer: To get rid of Stensland and take over the drug racket. Dudley knew if he killed Stensland seperately the police would start looking into why they would want to kill a cop. Killing him and everyone at the Nite Owl then making it look like a robbery would just make it look like Stensland was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but as we find out later it was set up to look like that and also could easily be placed on the black criminals.

Question: At the very end of the movie, when Harry discovers the secret room, he sees many vials of the performance enhancer that his father was working on. Why did Norman Osborn need so many?

Answer: It seems likely that a large number of samples would have been created during the initial experiments - Norman simply took them away and stored them to prevent anyone else from doing what he did. It also gives him the option to repeat the experiment if he feels that the effects are wearing off - remember, it was highly experimental so it would be hard to predict precisely what would happen in the long-term.
