Question: Why is it that the grudge doesn't kill the old woman living in the house?
Answer: It does. They find her dead at one point.
Question: Can vampires and werewolves be killed or injured by anything other than vampires and werewolves?
Answer: Aro also makes the argument that for the first time in our history humans pose a threat to our kind with their weapons that can destroy us. Theoretically any weapons that can tear apart and/or burn the vampires would work. So, yes, things other than vampires and werewolves can kill the vampires and werewolves.
Answer: Sure. The problem is that these films portray vampires and werewolves as having super-human abilities, so it'd be significantly harder for a regular person to kill one. But nothing about the films seems to indicate it's overtly impossible.
Question: Where were Toomes and the gang after they were fired?
Answer: At a large building, which is presumably a storage/office space Toomes owns or rents for the purposes of his salvaging/disposal job, since he'd need significant space for equipment and whatnot. It later became his villainous lair.
Question: Why could Malcolm not open the door with the red knob?
Answer: In Malcolm's spirit-mind, which was in denial, it was somehow stuck and simply wouldn't open. But in reality as shown in the final twist, it's because his wife had blocked the door with a heavy desk, which Malcolm was "blocking out" and refusing to allow himself to see.
But he did get into the cellar. The first time he tries to open the door it immediately cuts to him walking down the stairs. How did he get in if it was blocked?
He walked through the door. Or he projected himself to the other side. Since he is in denial of his own death, his mind corrected the experience, creating a memory of unlocking and opening the door.
Answer: You can see that Malcolm is reaching for his pocket every time he is not able to open the door. He simply thinks he or his wife locked it.
Question: Did Inspector Leduc die?
Answer: Having just finished rewatching the film again I can say this: the inspector does not die. From a werewolf. The last we see of him is that of him falling down a hole in the ground and landing in some water.
Question: Harry was reminded by Ron of another Gryffindor Quidditch player who sat under the tree they were revising under and rumpled his hair but who was that? Was it James?
Question: Does Lowen know that Tara isn't really pregnant and just staged the miscarriage? Or is she in on it too?
Answer: Lowen had no idea until after everything happened with the faked miscarriage.
Giving Back - S1-E5
Question: Why didn't Opie tell the club why he was in financial struggle due to his time in jail? He did what the club wanted him to do which was be a brotherhood and to not give up on the club, but he won't even tell Jax his financial troubles.
Answer: He knew the club was hurting financially because of the gun warehouse burning down.
I think with Opie it was more of a pride thing.
Question: Why couldn't the fuel cells be opened again once they were closed?
Answer: The reactant valves to the fuel cells could not be re-opened once they were closed (except by ground servicing) because they are very delicate and must be precisely calibrated. Although CAPCOM tells Lovell to manually close the valves for cells 1 and 3, they had already failed and closed so this had no effect.
Did they really try closing fuel cells 1 and 3 like in the movie?
Answer: Yes they did. And as in the movie, it was futile since the reac valves had failed anyway.
Question: Why had the replicants tried to break into Tyrell Corporation? How come Roy Batty knew the corporation existed at all?
Answer: Replicants appear to know about their origin and lifespan, and even if they didn't, Roy is highly intelligent and motivated, and could easily have determined Tyrell's role in his creation through various means. The reason they broke into Tyrell Corp was they wanted the company or Tyrell himself to extend their lifespans, or to work out the means to do it themselves.
Question: I've noticed a correction that says Burnett and Stack-house didn't expect any troops to find them. Why? They would have known that if the bad guys fired a missile, they would be watching the missile and the jet to see if they ejected in case the missile successfully hit it. They also would have known that in case that the bad guys would watch to see if they parachuted, and then track them if did their parachutes were successfully deployed, shoot at them while they went down, and then check to see where they landed to make sure their dead. So why didn't Burnett and Stack-house expect the enemy troops to find them?
Answer: Because they were being chased by the missile all over the place, so it would have been difficult for the Serbs to keep track of the missile and the jet. Plus they were so busy being chased by the missile they probably didn't where they were when the missile hit them.
I meant why didn't they expect anything or anybody to find them?
Question: When Robin Hood goes to Skippy's house as a blind beggar, does he say, "Did I hear someone say a birthday today?" or "Did I hear someone sing a birthday ditty?"
Answer: He said "Did me old ears hear someone singin' a birthday ditty?"
I thought it was "today", not "ditty."
Question: They say David's mom is dead because 2000 years have passed. Does David not understand that humans can't live that long?
Answer: Yes, he knew humans die. He asked mom if she would die, she said yes, but not for a long time...50 years. David asks Teddy "is 50 years a long time?" and Teddy says "I don't think so." He denies she is dead/can't be brought back for more than a day b/c that is not the answer he wanted.
Answer: Being robotic in the first place and ending up at the exhibition where old robots are destroyed probably told David that things die, through the actions of others. It's plausible he may not know any different, still functioning 2000 years later when found under water with his bear. It does come as a shock to him to learn everybody he knew has gone, so I'd say no, he didn't know humans (and his mum) will die. It's shown David can learn and retain information, and to be honest it's not really the sort of conversation you have with a child until it's strictly necessary anyway.
Question: Why did Kyle Pratt kill Carson, instead of sparing his life, running to either the cargo door or passenger door, showing the people her daughter, telling them he was the hijacker? He appears to have injured his leg after he fell down in the restroom, He was further away from both of the doors than Kyle, And she probably would gotten to one of them before him, because he wouldn't have been able to move fast enough to get to either of the doors before her. And then he would have gotten arrested, because then the people would have realised that he had deceived them. And his charismatic and manipulative skills would no longer have helped him.
Answer: Because even if she had managed to convince people he was the hijacker, and get him arrested, there would have been risks that he would escape from jail, and try to get revenge on her for ruining his plan.
Answer: There's something satisfying with seeing a villain undone by his own devices, so after Kyle finds out that Carson was behind everything and willing to kill her and her daughter, Kyle is eliminating his threat while getting revenge, thus providing an explosive end to him that might satisfy the moviegoers desire for his utter defeat.
Question: I don't understand why Barker couldn't get unbuckled in the car. Why couldn't Artie just remove his hand from the seat belt?
Answer: It's demonstrated throughout the film that Artie struggles with the modern way of doing things. This may extend to modern car seat belts with their five point harness systems. That and the fact they're already late for school and holding up the traffic makes it a stressful situation for Artie and it was probably easier (and to add comedy) for Artie just to rip the seat out with the boy still in it.
Question: Why couldn't young P. T. Barnum or his father retaliate against Charity's father for striking him?
Answer: In those days that would be a normal punishment for P.T.'s behaviour. His father could have said something but did not want to lose a customer. P.T. also did not want his father to lose a customer because they knew getting money was worth taking the hit. If they had enough money to miss one customer it may have been different.
Question: How did Harry and Marv know that Kevin would escape through the back door of the Plaza Hotel while waiting for him?
Answer: It's most likely a plot hole, but one possible explanation I can think of is that perhaps Harry and Marv observed from afar the scuffle between Kevin and the concierge and deduced that he would try to flee the hotel from a door that wasn't necessarily being watched by the hotel staff.
Answer: It could also be because the Wet Bandits were planning to break into the hotel through that door rather than the front entrance and just got lucky.
Well, when Kevin got out the door, Harry and Marv were standing as they were waiting before they captured him. Besides, Kevin has been in that hotel a little longer.
Question: Re the song "My Name Is Tallulah", what is the significance of North Carolina as a training location?
Answer: It was just a way of saying where she was raised and how she got to be so good. Even though Prohibition became a federal law in 1920, North Carolina enacted their own prohibition in 1908. During these 12 years, some in North Carolina started bootlegging by driving to Virginia or South Carolina to buy alcohol to bring back to the state. I see it has her training as a gun moll or bootlegger.

Answer: She was taken when the Syndicate was formed and the aliens decided to take a member from each family in each different Syndicate as collateral. Samantha was chosen to be the one that the aliens took because her mother just couldn't choose between her two children.
