Trivia: In Star Wars, the name Tosche Station was inspired by real-life San Francisco detective Dave Toschi, one of the lead investigators on the Zodiac Killer case. George Lucas, who lived in the Bay Area during the Zodiac murders, followed the case closely and admired Toschi's work. Feeling the detective was unfairly criticized, Lucas used his name for Luke Skywalker's local hangout as a subtle tribute. The name is often misspelled as "Tashi" or "Toshi."

Licence to Kill (1989)
Trivia: In Licence to Kill, the wedding photographer at Felix and Della's wedding is played by Keith Hampshire. While little known to audiences, Hampshire was a prolific publicity photographer, working on films like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Superman II, The Mummy (1999), and the Star Wars prequel trilogy. He also contributed to eight Bond films, including Eyes, View, Daylights, Licence, and all four Brosnan films.

War of the Worlds (2025)
Factual error: Right towards the start, Will opens up the camera feed around several locations in Washington DC and in the surrounding areas. Six camera feeds pop up, but the information on them is all lazy copy-paste. They all say Location: Washington DC. Yet the first camera shows the Pentagon, which is in Arlington VA, not Washington DC. Then the sixth camera shows the NSA Headquarters, which is in Fort Meade, Maryland, not DC. Also, all six cameras have the same IP address. Not possible with how it's set up.

A View to a Kill (1985)
Trivia: During ADR sessions for A View to a Kill, Grace Jones encountered a common sound problem; her extravagant clothing kept rustling and interfering with the microphone. Rather than keep retaking her lines with ruined audio, Jones wrote in her memoir that she simply stripped off her clothes and continued recording nude. It solved the issue and gave the sound crew one of the most memorable post-production stories of the Bond series.

For Your Eyes Only (1981)
Trivia: Several Bond films feature the deaths of fellow double-O agents (002 in The Man with the Golden Gun, 009 in Octopussy, 003 in A View to a Kill). An early draft of For Your Eyes Only nearly added 006 to that list: Melina was originally written as 006's girlfriend, with his death meant to set up the story. The idea was dropped, sparing 006 another early demise in Bond lore.

From Russia With Love (1963)
Trivia: The famous promotional stills of Sean Connery as Bond show him holding a Walther LP53 air pistol, not the intended Walther PPK. The mix-up happened when the PPK hadn't arrived at the studio in time. Photographer David Hurn, an air pistol enthusiast, loaned his own LP53 for the shoot. The unmodified pistol was later used in several posters and eventually sold at Christie's in 2010 for £277,500.

Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987)
Trivia: Early on, unsure how a bald Englishman could lead the show, they considered giving Patrick Stewart a hairpiece. Early test photos exist that are quite hilarious of this. In the end, they decided to let his bald head prevail.

Hercules (1998)
Trivia: This show plays fast and loose with the continuity of the movie and is done on purpose. They couldn't really set this series as a prequel when Herc doesn't understand his powers or who he is, and also Hades doesn't know about him yet according to the movie. And they can't set it after the movie without inventing new villains or stories for Herc to go on, and it would have to be adult Herc. So this is set sort of in between the film's two time points of Herc being young or adult. But making it so Hades already knows about him, Pan and Panic are recurring characters trying to off him, and Herc is being heroic despite the continuity of the film saying he was not a hero yet by this point. They had to change things to make the show work. Thus, this show is only soft canon to the movie. A parallel timeline.

Mario Kart 64
Bug: A rather infamous shortcut glitch is in Wario Stadium, where the very first hill after the starting line is high enough that if you hit it at an angle you can completely jump over the wall. This cuts off a significant portion of the track, putting the player way ahead. Then on top of that, if you turn around and hit a part of the wall just right at a good angle, it will cause you to jump back over the wall before the finish line, cutting off the full track. Do it right, and you can complete the full three laps in under 30 seconds.

The Gretlow Tapes (2025)
Factual error: Once you pick up the lighter, the character player model holds it lit, but the finger is not on the button. The lighter appears to be modeled after a standard BIC style lighter where the striker is flicked and then the thumb is held on the red button to keep fuel going into the flame to maintain the light. If the thumb comes off the button, the fuel stops and the fire goes out. However, in this game, the model is shown with the thumb not on the button, but the lighter is still held lit.

Agents of SHIELD (2013)
Absolution - S3-E21
Continuity mistake: Fitz drags another agent through the door as it's closing, and one of the Primitives is shown grabbing at the agent's foot, barely missing before it goes through the threshold. Then, in the next shot, suddenly the Primitive is still falling through the air, trying to reach out for the foot that's already inside the door. (00:38:08)

Agents of SHIELD (2013)
Absolution - S3-E21
Continuity mistake: In the hangar, Simmons unlocks the security door so Fitz can escape the primitives. The control panel changes from a red SHIELD logo reading "RESTRICTED AREA" to blue reading "CLEARED," indicating the door is open. However, moments later while Fitz is fighting the primitives with a fire extinguisher, the door remains open even though the panel shows red and "RESTRICTED" again, then briefly turns blue before switching back to red as it closes. Agents of SHIELD (2013)
Absolution - S3-E21
Continuity mistake: On the security camera, Fitz yells at Simmons that she has a good memory, then asks, "I mean you do, right?" and then he starts to turn to look at the Primatives advancing on him. He's standing up straight, back against the wall with both arms down at his side. Then it jump cuts to a front view of him, and suddenly he's bent over with one hand planted back against the wall. Continuity mistake: Hive tells Daisy that he knows she feels bad about lying to Lincoln. She has her head turned to the side, looking up directly at Hive in her close-up. Then, when the angle changes to show Hive, suddenly Daisy is looking straight ahead at her computer screen. (00:31:58)

SonicForces: Speed Battle
Other mistake: When a character gets hit by Rival Sonic's magnet attack, the large magnet is shown stuck to the back of the racer and slowing them down, like trying to drag them backwards. However, if you manage to block the magnet attack with either a shield or happen to be in "i-frames" when passing through it, the magnet model will still be shown stuck to the back of the character but without any slow down effect.

Butcher's Crossing (2022)
Continuity mistake: Fred confronts Charlie for poisoning him with the wolf poison, and he sets the container down on a rock next to some herbs on the stone. When he sets it down, it is at a diagonal angle to the corner of the stone. Then after Fred starts to punch Charlie, the container is shown again, but now it is perfectly perpendicular to the edge of the stone, and the clump of herbs also grows larger. (01:25:14)

Butcher's Crossing (2022)
Continuity mistake: The group come across an outpost only to find the person inside having been brutally killed and skinned by Indians. A shot from the door shows Will sitting on his horse hunched over, staring into the cabin in shock. When the camera cuts to a close-up of him, his body is now at a different angle, his arms are in a slightly different position, and the light is hitting his coat and hat from a different angle. Hank's Unmentionable Problem - S1-E6
Continuity mistake: At the doctor, Hank's old teacher Mrs. Macintosh steps out of a door, and Hank is next to her. In the next close-up shot, Hank is suddenly closer to the old lady. Also, the frame around the window of the door gets larger between shots. (00:09:39)
