Trivia: The ability of the Soldier to rocket jump was originally a glitch in the original Team Fortress games. Valve has embraced this bug now with the addition of weapons such as the Rocket Jumper. Additionally, the ability of rocket-wielders being able to use their rockets to jump higher originated from Quake.

Revealing mistake: Soldier: If the left-handed view models are on, the Soldier's rockets will still be fired from his right shoulder.

Audio problem: Soldier: Shooting with a Soldier weapon followed by a quick weapon switch will result in the sound being cut off. This excludes melee weapons.

Bug: Soldier: If you taunt as you reload a primary weapon (other than the Cow Mangler 5000) a rocket will blink in and out of the Soldier's hand.

Bug: Soldier: If a primary weapon is fired when the player is initially spawned into the game, a continuous loop of the reload animation can occur. This can be remedied by firing another shot or switching weapons.

Audio problem: Every time you beat the Goblin King, the audio for the sound effects is snuffed out. The explosions of his vehicle can not be heard, nor can his cries or his men's cries. As well as all your character's sound effects, like weapon slashing and so on, are muted until you leave the room to the next level. This only happens with this boss.

Bug: The Ashlands: Down in the room where you can get the Strife's Offering. There is a movable platform with a gradable ledge on one side. If you move this platform to one of the corners of the accessible area where their is some rubble and an invisible wall, you can still grab a hold of the gradable ledge on the one side. If you slide over to the far right of this edge and jump off into the corner beside the platform, you will get stuck behind the invisible wall and be unable to get out. This becomes a Soft Lock bug as there is no possible way to get out of this spot once you're stuck and you must reload your save file.

Bug: The Ashlands: There is a hole in the area where the Abysmal Riders spawn. This hole is like a well with wooden structures around it and sticking out towards the sand. With the clunky controls of the game for when riding on Ruin (your horse), it's easy for you to get stuck on this structure. If you jump on Ruin while moving towards it, you can get stuck and Ruin will just be there running in place on this board until you get off him.
