Continuity mistake: When Ben slams on the breaks, causing Floyd to be thrown forward and hit his head on the windshield, watch closely. When he first hits it, you can see the glass begin to buckle out, and just before the shot cuts, it becomes quite obvious that the windshield itself disconnects from the car at the bottom and is breaking loose. Then only a moment later, the car is shown from an exterior view as it begins sliding out of control along the road, and now the windshield seems fine except for the blood and cracks. The separation at the bottom is gone, and the cracks are a lot less extensive.(00:22:25)
Continuity mistake: Ben is shown in his office and he gets off the phone with someone, saying "8:00 AM is fine, I'll be here." After the talk, he removes his head piece and sighs. You can see his right arm and shoulder are positioned so it is down at his side. Floyd knocks on the door and opens it, and the camera cuts to behind Ben. Suddenly his right arm is out stretched beside him resting on the other desk.(00:09:30)
Continuity mistake: When Amy is sitting down to eat her breakfast, there is a very long TV remote next to her food. As she points to her bowl and asks if there is milk in this, it cuts to a closer angle and suddenly the TV control is a lot shorter, and moves across the table.(00:04:55)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning, the motorcycle drives by a car that parks under a bridge and tosses out a bag. The bag rolls to a stop and has the straps on the same side as the car. The camera cuts to a frontal view of the car as the driver gets out and suddenly the straps are on the opposite side.(00:02:25)
Question: Why is the only word that Kirby can say through the entire show is "Poyo"? And is there any relation to the Spanish word "pollo" of the same pronunciation that means chicken?
Continuity mistake: Just after the other group of men say "Go easy on him, Sarge. That's the Prime Commander's son right there." 'Sarge' turns his head back to face the boy and has his head level, not moving. It cuts to a frontal view and suddenly his head is tilted to the right and moving around.(00:12:45)
Question: After powering up Stark tower in New York, Tony and Pepper have a brief conversation about a "security snafu" in their elevator that she was responsible for in some way. What exactly would that security thing be?
Chosen answer:It is mentioned during the conversation, that construction workers used Tony's personal elevator. Tony is using the term "Security Breach" as an exaggeration.
Continuity mistake: Once Iron Man finishes with his project underwater, he surfaces and begins flying towards the city. The view from behind shows a very long and noticeable vapor trail coming from his jet boots that stretches far back. But when the shot cuts to being in front of Iron Man and going with him, the vapor trail is much shorter, dissipating quickly, and hardly noticeable.(00:23:30)
Question: After Fury briefs Rodgers about the Tesseract in the gym, Rodgers leaves, taking a punching bag with him over his shoulder. Why does he take the bag with him?
Continuity mistake: Right after Loki's mind control spell finishes taking hold over Hawkeye, Loki begins pulling back and Hawkeye is facing him but turned at an angle. The camera cuts while Loki is still moving his spear away and suddenly Hawkeye has a little more distance between him and Loki, and he is turned to be almost fully facing him.(00:06:15)
Continuity mistake: After the Tesseract opens up the portal that Loki enters from, 4 SHIELD guards are seen slowly advancing on his position. On the left side of the device, two of them are moving. The one further behind walks over an area of the floor that is illuminated by some orange light. The shot cuts to his feet, and suddenly the floor is dark.(00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: Watch Fury's collar as he's telling Hill to have all of Phase 2 equipment on a truck and gone. In different shots, the way it's folded out or standing straight up is never consistent.(00:02:50)
Continuity mistake: As Nick Fury is telling Agent Hill that he will act as if the world intends to spin on, and to clear out the tech below, the first shot from behind her shows she has her head leaning slightly to the right. It cuts to a frontal view of her and her head is leaning slightly to the left.(00:02:45)
Continuity mistake: Jeffrey begins giving J a quick crash course on how to use the Time Jump device on top of the building. Just before he says "When you're moving fast enough" he pats J on the back, receiving an angry look from J. Jeff then puts his arms down as J begins slowly moving forward. The camera then cuts to a closer shot as he begins that line, and suddenly Jeff's arm is back on J's back, and J's arms are in a different position.(00:34:25)
Continuity mistake: As J pops his head up on the tall building, there are windows immediately behind on his right and left and both are closed. The camera pulls up and back to show the scale of the building, then cuts back down to J. Now suddenly the window on his right side is open, and the lamp in the room is on. The window also changes from closed to open a few times in this scene.(00:33:25)
Continuity mistake: When J is digging through files to try and find out what happened between Boris and K, O comes in and talks to him for a moment. As she is leaving, shots of J shows he is leaning back in his seat. But when O is shown, the glass wall she is by shows his reflection, leaning forward and slouching.(00:22:20)
Continuity mistake: When K tells J he's suspended after asking about Boris, they get into a brief confrontation about it. As K is storming away to take the car, leaving J back at Wu's without a ride, J's suit is still dirty, wet, and nasty from his fight with the alien fish. Moments later, J is seen going to MiB headquarters and now his suit is clean and in perfect order.(00:19:45)
Continuity mistake: After the incident at Wu's restaurant, J walks up to a crowd of people and says "Can I have everyone's attention please?" As he does, he holds up his neutralizer. Just before the cut, you see him raising his other hand and points at the device. It cuts to show the crowd, then back to J. Suddenly he is repeating this exact same motion, the footage repeated as he points to the neutralizer.(00:18:20)
Continuity mistake: Trying to crush the metal tray that J wedged in its mouth, the large alien fish breaks a tooth on the tray. J then picks up a couple of bottles of mustard and squirts its nostrils full. During that shot, the shape of the broken tooth has changed slightly, and the remaining piece is larger.(00:16:25)
Plot hole: Lunar-Max prison is obviously part of MiB, them creating it for the purpose of holding Boris the Animal, and other criminals of worth as well. A high tech prison built on the moon with cutting edge technology and armed guards out the boot. Boris trashes the place, sounding all kinds of alarms and busting out, even blowing a sizable hole in the side of one of the complexes. He then jacks a ship off the moon's surface and crashes it back down to Earth. MiB doesn't know about it until almost a full day later when they realise the ship they found was from the moon, and Boris had escaped. It makes no sense that it took them that long to find out the information. A maximum prison, especially one to contain aliens on the moon, would be in contact with MiB. And any alarm that goes off there, especially for a break out of a high danger prisoner such as Boris the Animal, would have sent an alert to MiB headquarters right off if there was any logic to their system at all. There is only about a 1.5 second delay for a message traveling at light speed to reach Earth from the moon due to its distance. So within seconds of Boris busting out, MiB should have already been mobilizing to track where he would be going and intercept. There's no way, that logically, Boris could have escaped, made it back to Earth, and been there for nigh a day without MiB knowing about it and having their agents already tracking him down.(00:03:55 - 00:14:25)
Suggested correction:Boris made his escape and trip to Earth in a matter of minutes, of course MIB were tracking him in that time, it's just not shown on screen.
