Factual error: Black powder barrels were added to the game and are stronger and more powerful than even the big stronghold barrels. The other barrels use white, smokeless powder. Black powder is actually much less powerful and efficient than smokeless powder, so the black barrels being stronger than the stronghold barrels or even regular TNT kegs does not make sense.

Sea of Thieves
Factual error: The weapons in this game are flintlocks, but pirates can still fire them underwater. This would realistically be impossible as the powder would get wet and not fire.

Idle Slayer
Character mistake: Once you unlock the quests to track down Victor in his house, you have to switch to the character Anna in order to progress. Once you get into his house, you eavesdrop on Victor's conversation with a strange stone, and it comes up that one of the slayers is a young lady with brown hair and green eyes. This is referring to Anna, and you have to be playing as her to do this quest and interact. However, if you're using the Bunny Outfit on Anna, her hair is blonde, but you can still do the quest.

War of the Worlds (2025)
Factual error: A WhatsApp conversation between Will and Faith is shown on the computer, but the interface is inaccurate. The contact's status says "last seen recently," wording used by Telegram, not WhatsApp, which normally gives an exact time or hides it entirely. Additionally, the chat bubbles lack the usual timestamps and read receipt checkmarks that WhatsApp displays, making the on-screen version an incorrect depiction of the app. (00:04:35)

War of the Worlds (2025)
Factual error: The "Visa Alert" flags Faith's café purchase as suspicious and somehow gives the Will an instant live feed from inside the café along with a detailed analysis of her order. In reality, card alerts don't grant third parties immediate access to private CCTV footage or itemised nutritional breakdowns, making the scene highly unrealistic. How does him tapping into a café camera give him exact details of what the cashier is handing Faith from her order? (00:04:30)

War of the Worlds (2025)
Factual error: When tracing the Disruptor's YouTube post, the on-screen map of Chicago shows impossible or incorrect IP addresses. Examples include 10.103.141.39 (a private IP, never on the public internet) and 239.204.2.121 (a multicast address). Many others would geolocate to other countries or cloud hosts, not downtown Chicago. In reality, law enforcement cannot instantly pull exact YouTube IP data without Google's cooperation. (00:04:00)

Continuity mistake: Peter brings Chris to the front door of the beautiful people club, and Warren steps out to greet them. There is a shadow cast on the sidewalk by the awning, and in the first shot, Peter and Chris are both standing in the shadow. In the next shot, suddenly Chris is no longer in shadow, Peter is at the very edge of the shadow, and Warren is much further away from the front door. (00:18:55)

Continuity mistake: After Peter becomes muscular, he goes to the store. In the first shot inside the store, we get a clear look at the register and checkout line, with the area surrounding the checkout. After Warren Fredericks approaches him to cut forward in line, another shot of the checkout now suddenly shows a snack shelf display next to the checkout line that was not there previously. Continuity mistake: Once Peter comes home with hunky muscles, Lois starts pushing the kids out of the front door. Stewie is in a wagon beside the threshold of the door, and he turns his head to look at Lois next to him as she pushes Chris and Meg outside. Continuity mistake: In the Griffin home establishing shot just before Peter enters the house with new muscles, it shows the walkway to the front door and mailbox is clear of any obstacles. Yet a minute later, Lois pushes Stewie out the front door on a wagon, and he rolls down the walkway, crashing into some trashcans that have suddenly appeared behind the mailbox. (00:14:35 - 00:15:20)

Family Guy (1999)
He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17
Factual error: Peter starts helping Chris work out, and in the second part, Chris is trying to do pull-ups on a bar outside. In the first shot, there is an unlit campfire under his feet, and he even appears to be standing on it. In the next shot, Peter walks around him and Chris starts lifting. Peter says, "Feel the burn," and sprays fuel on the campfire spot. Suddenly, the fire is lit, without Peter having actually lit it. Just spraying lighter fluid on wood doesn't start a fire. (00:09:30)
