Tropic Thunder (2008)

Plot hole: In the scene where Speedman and Lazarus are discussing their acting and Lazarus tells him to never go full retard. It shows these two leading the group, however they stop and talk for quite a while, and the rest of the group are nowhere to be seen until Speedman and Lazarus start moving again. The group finally caught up with them. If at this time, Speedman was still leading the way with the map, how could the group even find these two after being left behind enough distance that this conversation could take place?

Tropic Thunder (2008)

Continuity mistake: Just after the ambush scene, Speedman walks towards Lazarus and speaks to him, the camera viewing from behind Speedman's point of view. The very next shot shows it from behind Lazarus with Lazarus looking back in suspicion. There is a noticeable difference in the level of day light between these shots. Like an hour has passed with the sun going down. (00:33:20)

Tropic Thunder (2008)

Other mistake: After the part where Cockburn explodes to bits on a mine, Speedman finds and picks up his walkie talkie as Cody is trying to communicate through it. The device is not only smoldering hot, causing Speedman to have to drop it, but it even appears to be melted. With the amount of heat it went though, much less the jar of the explosion, it should not have been still working at all. The 'actors' should not have heard Cody though it. Not only this, but the establishing shot of it on the ground shows the antenna snapped and broken over. (00:29:50)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Will is wounded and riding on the back of a moped with Lucia, Jean steps out of her vehicle to try and shoot Will. At this time, she is wearing her black sunglasses as she points a pistol at Will. A Spanish cop steps in the way, and she can't take the shot. Her glasses are still on. In the next shot with her, she is watching them ride away and she looks disappointed, sunglasses still on. Shot cuts to Will and Lucia escaping, and then back to Jean. Jean is still in the same position with same look on her face, but suddenly she is not wearing her sunglasses. She shakes her head and says "Lucky" while putting on her sunglasses now, as if for the first time. (00:48:35)

Die Another Day (2002)

Factual error: In the scene with the mining lasers, Mr.Kill positions a laser to be able to cut off Jinx's head. If you'll notice, the laser is still on and firing as he moves it. The way it spins down to get by Jinx, the trajectory would have already cut through Jinx. And even if not, it would have damaged the table she is on. However, when it cuts to the next shot showing the laser next to her head, there is no damage to the table, except to where the laser is directly contacting the table at that moment. No other damage is visible, despite it being on while being moved into position.

Revealing mistake: In the driving scene after the first run in with the TX, the T-850 is driving the truck, John is in the passenger seat, and Kate is locked in the back. The T-850 has to cut open his abdominal area to pull out the nuclear power cell that has been damaged, and dispose of it. In the shot before he begins cutting, you see the T-850's chest is flat as it should be under his shirt. But once you see him begin cutting into his abdominal area, the top of his chest has a ridge. This is an obvious show of the prosthetic chest the actor scoot up against to be as his chest and house the fake skin, metal, and power cell for the scene.

Audio problem: In the scene where Reynard and his men are stealing the warhead, Bond jumps and dives through some blast doors as they are closing. While flying though the air, it is seen that he fires a shot. However, you never hear the blast. The flash of the barrel is easily seen, and it is obvious that he is not using a silencer from previous moments of that scene. He shoots, but you don't hear it.

Goldeneye (1995)

Plot hole: In Cuba, Bond and Natalia are in a plane flying over a lake, attempting to find the Goldeneye control station. The station is hidden, and the Janus Group inside obviously does not want the operation discovered until it's time to go with their plan. They are hidden so well, Bond and Natalia are about to give up. Yet, the enemy fires a rocket at the plane to shoot it down, and sends Xenia in pursuit to finish them off. This does not logically make sense, as the rocket would be a dead giveaway that the base is actually there and lets Bond know it. That, and the rocket would be seen by the US government, letting them know that Janus is there. So even if the rocket succeeds in killing Bond, it would give the US government a precise target and would undermine Janus' entire operation. The logical thing to have done would let Bond leave empty handed. (01:37:00)

Suggested correction: Even if Janus believes he's shooting at Bond and thus alerting the US government, he doesn't believe the US government can act fast enough to stop him. Janus is fully convinced that the only way his plan can fail is through Bond, so giving away his location as a trade for Bond's head still isn't too far off. Also, Janus knows Bond well enough to believe that Bond would never leave empty-handed under any circumstances, so he'd better take the clear shot now than allow Bond to enter his base.

Goldeneye (1995)

Factual error: At the climax of the movie, when Bond is holding Trevelyan by his foot over the dried lake and the dialog exchange of "For England, James?" "No... for me.", Bond lets go of Trevelyan. He then falls a very long distance onto solid concrete. A short time later, the movie shows Trevelyan still alive and moving his head around. This is not possible. A fall from that that height, especially falling on concrete, would have killed him instantly. The shot of him hitting showed him landing on his head and back first. This would have crushed his skull, and snapped his spine. Even if that didn't kill him, it would have knocked him out cold. The mistake goes even further though. The antenna array then explodes and falls on Trevelyan, while he screams at the top of his lungs. Even if someone was somehow able to survive that fall, the damage done to their body would have caused massive internal damage and bleeding. Trevelyan's lungs would have filled with blood. There is no way he could have screamed, let alone that loudly. So this mistake is twofold. The fall would have killed him instantly. And even if not, he could not have possibly screamed. (01:59:05)

Suggested correction: This is simply your opinion. There is record of people surviving skydiving falls where their chutes didn't open. While it is likely he would have died on impact or been unable to move or scream if surviving, it is not a certainty.

Show generally

Audio problem: In the opening title sequence towards the end, Link says "For you, Princess, anything." After he says this, he instantly opens his mouth again in a continued talking motion. But he is not saying anything. In a cartoon such as this, especially from this era, they wouldn't go through the trouble of animating just a breath after a speaking line, or even just a smile like that. It is extra animation for speaking that is not happening. (00:00:25)
