Beware the Jabberwock, My Son - S4-E5

Stupidity: When the V'd Up Bull is about to attack, and then after the mutant sheep start attacking the group, suddenly Neuman forgets she can pop their heads with her power. She doesn't even try. Moments earlier, she was shown popping a V'd Up chicken to save her dad. When they are trapped in the barn with the sheep outside, and later when trying to escape before the sheep get sick, she doesn't even try to pop them.

Wisdom of the Ages - S4-E4

Factual error: Lasers, like what Homelander shoots from his eyes, burn through the body. This would cauterize the wound and make any bleeding after minimal at best. So after he uses his lasers to burn through the bald guy's crotch, there would have been very little blood. When he's lying on the floor groaning in pain, there's blood pooling around him as if it were an open gunshot or knife wound. This is not how it would work after being burned by laser.

Suggested correction: Respectfully, you are assuming that Homelander's "laser" vision behaves the same way as an actual laser. It's a fictional ability possessed by a fictional character, so it can behave any way the writers need it to. There are other scenes where Homelander uses the ability to massacre entire crowds, and their bodies are shown pretty much exploding into pools of blood.

We'll Keep the Red Flag Flying Here - S4-E3

Stupidity: When Hughie is in the vents above Homelander and Sage and the others, Homelander realises he's there due to sweat dripping. He then proceeds to try and laser eye the vents in random spots, just listening to try and figure out where Hughie is. He completely forgets he has X-ray vision at this point and could just look through the vent to find him.

Suggested correction: X-rays do not penetrate metal.

While it's true X-rays don't easily pass through thick metal, thin aluminum, like air vents, is partly transparent to them in real life, which is why aluminum filters are used in medical X-ray machines. Homelander's vision is fictional and modelled after Superman's, who can see through almost anything except lead. Since vents aren't lead and he's used this ability before, forgetting to use it here is still a valid mistake.

Quantom X

True, but I'd like to point out that Homelander can't look through zinc. Lead is fine for him. I'm not sure, but it might be possible the vents are made of zinc-coated steel. No idea how to find that out, though. He seems to be struggling more once Hughie leaves the vents, though, so he is further away than it appears. The second time he uses his eyes, he nearly gets Hughie too, probably sees him but misses. I dunno, the scene is dubious.

lionhead

It seems pretty clear in that scene that the whole time he is just relying on his super hearing and listening to where Hughie is in the vents.

Quantom X

How do you know he is not looking? Like I say, the second time he fires his laser eyes, he nearly hits Hughie. He saw someone but simply misses?

Mario Kart 64

Trivia: The infamous blue shell in Mario Kart 64 exists because of the Nintendo 64's hardware limitations. During development, the system struggled to render all racers close together onscreen, causing them to spread far apart during races. To fix this, Nintendo introduced the blue shell, a sort of "rubber band" mechanic designed to keep players grouped and maintain tension. What began as a technical workaround became one of gaming's most notorious equalizers.

BB-8 Bandits - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When Rey jumps on her bike after the second raider pulls a blaster on her, the panel covering on the top of her bike becomes smaller, and a few other details also change, like where the net is fastened and some lines. (00:00:48)

Other mistake: A raider attacks Rey at her speeder bike, and she sweeps his legs with her staff to trip him. If you look closely, the staff actually phases through his leg in a few frames, passing through it before it can even lift out of the way. (00:00:43)

Continuity mistake: Lois takes away the box of Fig Newtons from Stewie and sets it on the counter in the kitchen. In the first shot, the open side of the box is facing towards what would be the left if you're facing it from the kitchen, then in the next shot the box is turned around so the open side is facing the right. Continuity mistake: When Neil goes to wash his retainer at the water fountain, in the first shot there is no button on the fountain, but it appears in the close-up. Also, between shots, the corner of the cork board moves further away from the fountain. And the guy holding the camera next to Neil goes from hands on camera to the camera just dangling around his neck with his hands down. (00:06:25)

The Story on Page 1 - S2-E19

Continuity mistake: When Meg is telling the university dean that she is president of the Luke Perry Fan Club, Peter is suddenly no longer beside her. Also, the distance between her and Lois grows, the chairs they are sitting on suddenly become smaller, the bookshelf behind them suddenly becomes much more shallow, like it's cardboard and it's wider, and the blue books on the left of the screen change labels.
