Factual error: Lasers, like what Homelander shoots from his eyes, burn through the body. This would cauterize the wound and make any bleeding after minimal at best. So after he uses his lasers to burn through the bald guy's crotch, there would have been very little blood. When he's lying on the floor groaning in pain, there's blood pooling around him as if it were an open gunshot or knife wound. This is not how it would work after being burned by laser.
Suggested correction: Respectfully, you are assuming that Homelander's "laser" vision behaves the same way as an actual laser. It's a fictional ability possessed by a fictional character, so it can behave any way the writers need it to. There are other scenes where Homelander uses the ability to massacre entire crowds, and their bodies are shown pretty much exploding into pools of blood.
The Insider - S4-E7
Continuity mistake: When MM starts unloading the minigun onto the fake Black Noir, his mouth is closed with a calm but concentrated face. Then the camera cuts to a close-up of MM's face, and suddenly he's biting his lower lip, gritting his upper teeth and squinting. (00:41:54)
Beware the Jabberwock, My Son - S4-E5
Plot hole: In the barn scene, Butcher and the team escape attacking V'd-up sheep using a corpse injected with the virus as bait. Afterward, Sameer is missing, and only his leg is found. Later, it's revealed that Kessler, who supposedly abducted Sameer, isn't real; he's a hallucination caused by Butcher's tumor. This means Butcher somehow kidnapped Sameer, amputated his leg, and hid him during the chaos without anyone noticing. How did he get Sameer away, unheard and unseen, and then make it back?
Suggested correction: This is in the form of a question, not an actual plot hole. Butcher's abuse of V and the brain tumor gave him superpowers; besides tentacles, it's possible he possesses more. He was able to do all that using his superpowers.
No, asking the question at the end is framing it to make you think; it doesn't take away that this is submitted as a plot hole. And while I understand what you're saying, it still wouldn't really account for him being able to sneak away with Sameer, cut off his leg without anybody seeing or hearing, hide the leg and stash Sameer somewhere, and then make it back in just seconds unless he had speed like A-Train. A serious retcon or shoehorn will have to be put in season 5 to account for this.
Plot hole: Starlight, Kimiko, and Hughie are torturing Tek Knight by transferring millions of dollars to organizations he hates. Even though it's needed to move the plot forward, there is no way they could have known the routing and account numbers for those organizations.
Suggested correction: Both Starlight and Hughie are probably familiar with a lot of organizations that accept donations and gifts through their former jobs as political representatives. Why wouldn't they know the numbers?
Respectfully, that's a big leap. They were political representatives, not members of a trust or charitable foundation. Why would they have memorized the bank account numbers of random organizations? Not to mention the fact that at no time do Starlight or Hughie provide the account numbers to Kimiko. She just starts typing and bam, the money is transferred.
