I, Robot (2004)

I, Robot trivia picture

Trivia: When Spooner is walking the street after leaving his apartment at the beginning of the film, he looks over and sees a bunch of robots loading trash into a garbage truck that is labelled with the brand name Canners. Canner is a derogatory term for robots in this universe that Spooner even called one at his front door just moments before this scene. And here we see it is also a brand name of trash service. Annabelle (2014)

Factual error: This movie takes place in the late 60s to early 70s. There is a shot of a crayon rolling across the floor, and the logo on it is the one Crayola used in the 80s.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Factual error: During the cutscene on the Russian freighter while Steiner explains Dragovich's sleeper cells, a soldier is firing off rapid photos with flash. The camera resembles a 1960s 35mm rangefinder, which would have required manual film advance and single-use flashbulbs or a slow capacitor recharge. Such cameras of the era were incapable of continuous, strobe-like flash photography, making this depiction inaccurate.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Audio problem: In the 1945 flashback, when Reznov is talking at the start, saying "Yes, Dimitri... Time to hunt down the last remnants of the fascist Reich," his head is bobbing up and down as he speaks, but his mouth is not moving.

Xenoblade Chronicles X mistake picture

Revealing mistake: When walking in the streets, like in New Los Angeles, cars will just phase right through you. Or rather, you phase through the car as they drive through you. No collision or hit detection at all, acting like you or the car is not a solid object.

Super Metroid

Super Metroid trivia picture

Trivia: It's common in Metroid games for Samus to remove her power armor at the end of each game if the player beats the game fast enough or meets certain goals. Even as far back as the original Metroid. With the graphical improvements of the SNES, when coming up with how Samus would look at the end of Super Metroid when shown in a bikini, Nintendo decided to base her looks and face around popular 90s actress Kim Basinger, who was popular and known to most kids from the Batman movie.

Star Wars Forces of Destiny mistake picture

Sands of Jakku - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: For most of the episode, Rey's outfit is shown having long pieces of fabric or cloth hanging off the back of her clothes like robe flaps and one in a sort of loop. Usually, when she's running or moving, these are flapping or blowing around behind her as you'd expect. Yet strangely, when she's running up to the spot where the sandworm just grabbed BB-8 and went under, the flaps are staying in front of her legs as she runs, but as she stops and the camera cuts, they are behind her again. (00:01:34)

Sands of Jakku - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: In the very first shot of the episode, Rey and BB-8 are walking in the sand, and she is coming up on a giant sand dune to her left before her. Other large sand dunes are also visible in the background. Yet after that first shot, none of the massive dunes are ever seen again, and when they encounter the sand worm, all the dunes around them are significantly smaller. (00:00:23)

Sands of Jakku - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: Rey and BB-8 are walking together, only a couple of feet apart. When the nightwatcher sand worm pops its eyes up behind BB-8, the droid stops and turns around to look at it. Rey is shown continuing to walk at her same speed and pace for about 6 more seconds before finally turning around to see the worm. She stops, and then the camera cuts to them together, and Rey is still only about a couple of feet in front of BB-8, but she should be several feet ahead of him by now after the droid had stopped and she kept walking. She even scolds him for not keeping up as she walks. (00:00:40)

Star Wars Forces of Destiny mistake picture

Sands of Jakku - S1-E1

Factual error: Through the entire episode, the nightwatcher sand worm is moving through sand like a whale does through water. It's a large, massive creature. Yet almost no sand is really displaced or moved around by it. Only a bit of shading is used and some bits of sand are shown thrown up when it surfaces, but there should be large "waves" or wakes of sand as it moves through it, especially in the faster moments. The most we see is it fills in BB-8's sand trail as it moves under it at one point. (00:00:43 - 00:02:25)

Sands of Jakku - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: After Rey runs her finger through the slime on BB-8's eye, he spins his head to shake off more slime from his head. Rey shields her face with her hand, then smiles at him again. Between these two moments, the slime on his lower body has moved around and changed. Notably, the white rectangle goes from having a corner sticking out of the slime to being fully covered, with more slime around it, and the slime on the right side moves further down and overlaps the dark crescent shape. (00:02:40)

Star Wars Forces of Destiny mistake picture

Sands of Jakku - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When Rey goes to wipe some blue slime off BB-8's eye, there are spots of slime on the side of his head. Between shots, the two smaller spots move, with the bigger one overlapping more of the line of the white rectangle, and the smaller one moving below some of the lines on his face. Also, another orange rectangle on his face appears between the others. (00:02:33)

Star Wars Forces of Destiny mistake picture

Sands of Jakku - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When the sand worms pit out BB-8, we see a shot of the bottom of a downed AT-AT Walker's foot. The "toes" are visible and are a single piece with the foot fused to it, metal on metal, and the bottom of the toe is smooth and flat. But in the last shot of the episode, the bottom of the foot is shown and here the toe is not a solid piece with the foot, connoted by a hinge and joints with space. It has grooves and details on the bottom that are not smooth. More sand also appears mounded on the foot. (00:01:51 - 00:02:44)

Star Wars Forces of Destiny mistake picture

Sands of Jakku - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: The head of the AT-AT Walker that Rey gets on to escape the sand worm is shown twice. In the second shot, as the sand worm is leaving, the details on top of the Walker's head have vanished. The outward square protrusions and ridges are now a flat surface on the Walker's head. And one of the parts of its front-facing gun has disappeared. (00:02:24)
