Trivia: For the title screen, the title of the film Alien vs Predator is first spelled out in the Yautja (Predator race) language. Then it changes to the green text from Mother in the first Alien movie, as a way of having the title shown in a style from both franchises. (00:00:42)

Trivia: At one point, based on the comics, a spec script was written by Peter Briggs and was going to be directed by Guillermo del Toro. However, they both opted out of the film to go write and direct Hellboy. That original script was shelved, but not lost as it was repurposed and used to make the Alien vs Predator arcade game instead, with a different script then written for this film.

Character mistake: When fighting the Guard Scorpion in Mako Reactor No. 1, it says to "Attack while its tail is up!", using the "it's" as in "it is," which is grammatically incorrect. It should be "Attack while its tail is up!" with no apostrophe.

Trivia: The enemy type, the "Blue Milk Mushrooms," are likely inspired by the real-life Indigo Milk Cap mushroom (Lactarius indigo). This unusual fungus is known for releasing a bright blue, milk-like liquid when cut, making the in-game name a direct nod to real natural mushrooms like this.

Other mistake: In the Factory dimension, there are various buildings going by in the parallax scrolling background. One of the buildings has a large staircase and walkway up to a ledge where an entrance into the building should be below a window. However, there is no door on the building where one should be.

Factual error: Intro Mission 1: Opening Cinematic: When the character intro cards display the team's information, the formatting is awkwardly worded as if it were "official" text. For example, Reed's card lists "with no criminal record" and "Former Aliases: None," which is not how real-world records are normally phrased. Official documents would instead use clearer labels such as "Criminal Record: None" or "Aliases: None." The phrasing makes the supposedly professional cards look sloppy and unprofessional.

Other mistake: Intro Mission 1: In the opening cinematic, after Reed says the cosmic cloud is speeding up, there's a shot of him having his hands out typing on a computer interface screen, with him oriented at it with his right hand on the right side and left on the left side. But there's a strange animation glitch where he reaches forward with his left hand; it goes past the right side of the screen and we hear typing before he pulls it back and then types with his right hand on the screen. Like his left hand clipped through the right side of the screen, coming into the foreground.

Character mistake: Intro Mission 1: In the opening cinematic, each character is introduced and an information card is shown for each one. In Sue's title card, it says "Director of Genetic Research, Von Doom Industries." However, there should be a comma between "Research" and "Von Doom Industries." Also, where it lists her as "PC1: Scientific," it has a colon between the rank, whereas all the other cards have a dash "-" between the rank and designation, making hers inconsistent.

Character mistake: Intro Mission 1: In the opening cinematic, each character is introduced and an information card is shown for each one. A small grammatical error is on Doom's card when it lists him as "CEO Von Doom Industries." There should be a comma after CEO, making it "CEO, Von Doom Industries." Ben and Johnny both have commas in their title cards where it's supposed to go in a similar title.

Audio problem: Intro Mission 1: During the opening cinematic, Sue radios to Ben that they need his help on the roof. It cuts to showing Ben inside the machine that took away his powers and we hear him say, "Susie I'm coming." It then cuts inside the machine with him looking at himself in the mirror. In his reflection, we see his mouth move, apparently saying the "Susie I'm coming" line, but with no sound at that point, before he says, "I've got a problem here." It appears that they animated him saying the line, but then moved the audio forward a few seconds to play from outside the machine and didn't fix his lip animation.

Revealing mistake: The guy whipping her horse, Sonja throws a chain around his neck from behind and yanks him. However, you can see the actor starts to throw himself backwards before Sonja even pulls on the chain, jumping the cue.

Continuity mistake: Intro Mission 1: Opening Cutscene: Right at the start, they are walking up on an apparent unconscious Dr. Doom, and Johnny asks if he's dead. After Sue says "how, why?" it cuts to a close-up of the three of them walking, but Reed stops Johnny and holds his hand back. He then starts to walk forward again, getting ahead of Johnny and Sue, with them a few feet behind him. Then, when the camera cuts to a wide angle by Doom, the three of them are side by side once more, with Reed not ahead.

Trivia: This short film animation is based around the Greek legend of Persephone and Hades, though using the Roman name for him as Pluto. They leave out the fact that Pluto/Hades and she are blood relatives, with Pluto/Hades actually being Persephone's uncle. They also conflate Pluto with the Christian devil, Satan, and the underworld looking like depictions of Hell.

Trivia: This short was used as the testing grounds by Walt Disney and his team for the realistic and fluid animations for the people moving around that they would later use and perfect for Snow White. A lot of the aesthetics of this short very closely resemble what Snow White would become, as well as a lot of the animal designs and motions resemble what would also become Bambi.

Continuity mistake: When the dancing flowers form a wreath for Persephone, there are 16 flowers that make it up. After she is dragged down to Hell and her wreath left behind on the hill, there are now only 12 flowers in the wreath. (00:01:44 - 00:03:25)

Revealing mistake: After Persephone is taken down to Hell, the elves gather around her wreath trying to figure it out. As the shot is slowly fading to black, suddenly some of the elves spontaneously change hat colours. On the left side, the light blue hat changes to orange and the dark blue changes to light blue. And on the right side, another light blue suddenly changes to dark blue, and a red hat changes to orange. All in a single frame. (00:03:34)

Continuity mistake: The number of elves is usually the same, but their hat colors vary greatly from scene to scene. In the beginning, there's turquoise, purple, pink, and yellow. When Persephone is first going to sit, there are no purple ones, and the turquoise are more blue. When they are dancing around her throne, it is only yellow and turquoise. When Pluto arises, they are yellow, pink, purple, and turquoise again. After Persephone is dragged to the underworld, it's the same colors, but also now dark blue, red, and orange ones appear. Then, when winter is starting, and they are shivering outside, it's back to pink, purple, yellow, and turquoise. Then, in their last scene, dancing around her, once again only yellow and turquoise. Continuity mistake: When the sentient flowers bow before Persephone at her throne, there are some crushed red non-sentient flowers or roses on the ground near them, with some of the other flowers standing on them. Then, after the camera dissolves to a closer angle with the sentient flowers still bowing, the red flowers on the ground have vanished. (00:01:26)
