Factual error: Black powder barrels were added to the game and are stronger and more powerful than even the big stronghold barrels. The other barrels use white, smokeless powder. Black powder is actually much less powerful and efficient than smokeless powder, so the black barrels being stronger than the stronghold barrels or even regular TNT kegs does not make sense.
Factual error: The weapons in this game are flintlocks, but pirates can still fire them underwater. This would realistically be impossible as the powder would get wet and not fire.
