Brushfire - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: While Squad 51 leaves the brushfire area with the looter (Tony Dow), when Johnny requests a water drop the helicopter pilot says that he's Copter 2, but the footage we see of the chopper flying overhead is of Copter 14 and Copter 10.

Brushfire - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: After Johnny and Roy find the motorcycle and its injured rider, Johnny wraps his arm/shoulder area, but the way it's wrapped - whether or not it's over the shoulder and/or at his waist, and the amount that's wound around his body, significantly differs between shots until they see Vince at the base station.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: While Roy and John are at the boatyard searching for the girl's severed hand, when they walk into the mess of lumber neither of them can be seen in the other one's closeup, even though they both start looking around in the same spot, at precisely the same time.

An English Visitor - S3-E4

Visible crew/equipment: At the rock quarry, when John is pulling up the stokes Jason is standing to his left, and just as the banister bar breaks in front of John, it's amusing to note that we can see a crew member's hand gripping the back of Randolph Mantooth's pants, at the right side of the screen.

Family Ties - S6-E16

Visible crew/equipment: During the structure fire, while the first teenager is being carried down the ladder from the attic window, in the two closeups of Captain Stanley if we look past Engine 116, in the background we can see Universal Studios' GlamorTrams driving by, which provided tours of the studio's backlots. This rescue was filmed at the "Corner House" located on the original "Colonial Street" in the studio's backlot.

Isolation - S6-E20

Continuity mistake: When the patients who were treated at 86's arrive at the ER, Dix has Morton take the asthmatic boy with bronchitis into treatment 1. Then, when Roy is with Early in treatment 4, Early tells Roy to go to treatment 1 to ask Morton if he needs help, and when Roy walks into treatment 1 we can see that it's not really treatment 1, it's actually treatment 4 just playing the part of treatment 1.

Isolation - S6-E20

Visible crew/equipment: When the police officer who was struck by lightning is wheeled into the ER, just as Dixie, Brackett, and Early walk up the hallway, the two tape marks are visible on the floor right outside the doorway of treatment 2, where Dixie is about to stand. Additionally, we can see the outline of the transmitter wire on the back of Dixie's uniform.

Isolation - S6-E20

Continuity mistake: While Roy and Johnny are at 86's treating everyone who is being brought in, when Johnny's on the Biophone with Brackett, in Brackett's closeups at the base station, we can see that the actor has a very swollen upper lip. When the officer who was hit by lightning is brought into the ER, Brackett's lip is much less swelled, and more the way it normally looks, but when Brackett is back at the base station, his upper lip is swelled up once again.

Limelight - S6-E24

Trivia: During dinner Johnny's voice is hoarse again, and after watching the news that incorrectly stated that Brice rescued the other firemen, when it really was the other way around, Roy makes a crack about Johnny never sounding better which irks Johnny, and as the scene closes he looks up at the camera with quite a perturbed look directed at the TV audience, which "breaks the fourth wall."

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Visible crew/equipment: When Station 10 arrives first on scene at the factory fire, as 10's third rig pulls up and lays the line in the wide shot, at the left of the screen in the background, we can see the hidden second cameraman who is shooting the footage from that angle, of all the rigs pulling in and turning.

Visible crew/equipment: During the factory fire, after the Battalion Chief tells 127 over the HT, "Take the steamer hydrant at Fifth and Crocker, lay a three-and-a-half down the driveway..." three shots later there's a closeup of a spraying hose, and we can see in the background another cameraman and crew member shooting footage with a handheld.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When the Battalion Chief's car arrives on scene at the factory fire, he and the driver get out of the car, then it cuts to shots as they both stand beside the wall while the Chief talks to dispatch over the HT, but a few shots later we see the driver just getting out of the car as Engine 36 passes.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Visible crew/equipment: When 127's snorkel is raised to rescue the man who was electrocuted atop a utility pole, as he's being loaded, in the first closeup within the snorkel, we can notice two things. We can see someone wearing denim at the left of the screen between 127's guy and Johnny, and we also see the ground past Johnny's head. Then as the snorkel is still being lowered, in the shot from the same POV, once again at the left we see that crew member wearing denim, who is outside the snorkel basket, and also see the ground, but the ground has not changed. This reveals that these two closeups were shot at ground level.

Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and John walk into the apparatus bay they stand behind Squad 51, and in this wide shot we can see that the floor area around the squad has nothing on it, but when Squad 51 is dispatched to 'traffic accident with injuries', there is now a long black tape line on the floor, near the front tire.
