Continuity mistake: When Mr. Bubbles enters the back door, there are two large white appliances side-by-side (presumably washer and dryer). However, when Lilo hides from Nani, now there's a wood table instead of the appliance that was beside the back door, but thereafter it reverts. (00:17:30 - 00:20:15)

Continuity mistake: While Lilo is listening to Elvis on the record player, Nani pokes her head through the door's dog flap and notices all the nails that Lilo hammered into the door jamb. Nani then uses the claw hammer to pull out one nail at the bottom, but the problem is that the lowest nail did not actually exist in the previous shots. (00:15:40)

Continuity mistake: When Nani tries to open the back door and tells Mr. Bubbles to wait outside, the back door has a door knob and an upper deadbolt lock. Then, when Nani opens this door from the inside, there is only a door knob of a different style without a keyhole, and the upper deadbolt lock is gone. As Mr. Bubbles enters the home, the deadbolt lock is back on the door. In later shots the door knob also has a backplate, and it disappears along with the deadbolt lock. (00:17:20)

Deliberate mistake: When Lilo is told to think of a name for her "dog" while at the Aloha Animal Rescue, there's an adoption document on the desk. The document's paragraph is in fact an acknowledgment of appreciation for this movie's production. Although it's only briefly seen twice, there's sufficient time to read a few words, such as "project Lilo and Stitch" or "at Disney-MGM Studios," and particularly in the close-up as it's being stamped "making of Lilo and Stitch," the last words of the paragraph. Continuity mistake: When the Mad Hatter grabs the White Rabbit's watch to fix it, the watch's chain has a t-bar at its end, but while the watch goes bonkers the t-bar is gone and in its place are three small keys in these shots. The t-bar reappears on the chain when the March Hare slams it with a mallet. Also, the number of links on the chain repeatedly changes between approximately eight and eighteen, quite a difference. Additionally, the direction that the watch's hinged front cover opens repeatedly changes; the hinge is at its left, at its bottom, or at its top by the crown. (00:47:55)
