Jeepers It's the Creeper - S2-E3
Continuity mistake: After the gang's encounter with the hermit they head back to the Mystery Machine, and when Fred opens the passenger door in the wideshot its colors are the usual blue, green, and orange, but in the closeups the door's exterior is solid green. The style of the door handle is also different in the closeups.

Visible crew/equipment: When Lorelai walks into the kitchen and tells Sookie that Emily and Richard have shown up, during their conversation the lighting equipment is visible at the right side of the screen, in four shots facing Lorelai. (00:34:55)

Visible crew/equipment: While Emily is instructing the servants before the party, when she tells one servant, "I want those six inches apart, get a ruler," there are two problems with this medium shot. First, lighting equipment is visible at the top right side of the screen over the lamp, and second, it's a flipped shot. Note the painting and lamp are reversed in the medium shot, compared to the next wideshot which is fine. (00:17:45)

Revealing mistake: Near the end when Ace gets into his Cadillac, in the first shot facing the front of the car, there is a protective glass in front of Ace (the same width as the windshield) with the dashboard in between that glass and the windshield. Note the vertical edge of the glass is visible at the right side, and the rearview mirror's sticker on the windshield casts a shadow onto the second glass. During the stunt, the flames on the dashboard are between the glass shield and the windshield, keeping the actor safe from harm. (02:46:05)

Continuity mistake: When Luke fixes Lorelai's shoe, he squeezes glue onto the broken heel and places the glue bottle down on the seat to his left, then he holds the heel to the shoe with both hands, but in the next shot that glue bottle is suddenly back in Luke's hand while he's still holding the heel to the shoe. Continuity mistake: When Sookie is reunited with Joe from the Deerhill Lodge, Lorelai pours herself a cup of coffee, then after Joe and Sookie have hugged, in the shots facing Sookie and Joe we see Lorelai's hand holding the cup, but in the shots facing Lorelai and Alex, Lorelai's hands are empty. Audio problem: Non-metal items making audible metallic sounds. The audible metallic sound effect of a blade, such as a sword, when it's being drawn from a wood or leather scabbard that doesn't have a metal throat, and also when it's drawn from a fabric or leather belt.

Continuity mistake: When the Wolf jumps into the lion's mouth at the zoo, one of the stripes on McPoodle's sleeve changes color and then reverts back. Also note, the stripes on Sergeant McPoodle's uniform sleeves repeatedly change between pointing down and pointing up (despite the reveal in the cartoon's last shot, all stripes should be identical).

Visible crew/equipment: When Emily gives Lorelai and Rory their drinks she mentions the cheese and walks away, then when Lorelai sits on the sofa the green tape marks are visible on the floor, where Emily had been standing by the bar. (00:40:20)

Continuity mistake: After Luke and "Mimi" talk at the diner Lorelai comes home, and while she and Rory sit on the couch note the open window behind them, with a clown pillow in front of it and the porch chair on the other side, but when Lorelai asks for her purse because she's hungry it cuts to the exterior shot, and nothing is blocking the view through that window. Continuity mistake: When Rory visits Jess she has a cast on her left arm from the car accident, but while Rory's on the bus returning from her trip the cast has vanished, then the cast reappears when Lorelai gets home after graduation. (00:33:15)
