Continuity mistake: When Dumbledore and Harry first arrive in front of Slughorn's temporary residence in Budleigh, Babberton, Harry's height barely even reaches Dumbledore's shoulders (likely the actor's stand-in), but in the next shot facing them Harry's height compared to Dumbledore is back to normal, level with the Headmaster's eyes. Continuity mistake: At the diner when Harry walks toward the windows, in the close-up of a window through which we see the distant platform (before Dumbledore appears), the style of the window's muntins (sash) around the glass panels is quite different in this close-up, than in the previous shots of the windows. Continuity mistake: When Marty is up on the roof with Jason after being busted as a liar, he looks down at Marcus Duncan standing in front of eight live feed monitors, but in Duncan's close-up there are fourteen monitors. The entire top row of monitors is gone in the wideshots. (01:17:55)

Continuity mistake: After Marty leaves the birthday party and asks Monty to reschedule with Marcus Duncan, when his car's radio starts blaring Marty's wearing his seatbelt in the shot facing him, but in the next side shot as he tries to turn off the radio Marty's seatbelt is instantly off. Continuity mistake: When Marty is done speaking to Monty while driving to the bogus address, after he pulls on the phone wire, in the shot from his car's interior we can see that the wire actually ripped, but after nearly colliding with "grandma" the phone wire is again intact. (00:44:30)

Continuity mistake: When Flash is teaching "The 7 Laws of Crime," he writes "extortian" which is spelled incorrectly with an "a". Yet, when he says, "If you don't start using your noggins...," the word "extortion" is spelled properly with an "o", but then it reverts back to the incorrect spelling in following shots. Visible crew/equipment: When Mike satiates his hunger in Ned's kitchen, just after Ned says, "That's your can now, we'll label it like that," the reflection of a crewmember moving around is visible in the cabinet's glass pane, to the left of the screen. In the other shots of the same angle we don't see movement, so we know it's not Mike's reflection. (00:40:35)

Visible crew/equipment: After Fred and George drink the aging potion and jump within the "age line", right before they say, "Ready?" and drop their names into the goblet, at the start of this shot the actor's T-mark is briefly visible on the floor, just before one of the twins promptly steps to that area. A bit of a second T-mark is briefly seen as well, to its right, also where the other twin soon stands. (00:30:10)

Continuity mistake: When Auguste is lying on the ground after falling from the horse, Rodmilla turns him over onto his back. In the two shots facing up towards Rodmilla and Danielle, Auguste's right arm is lying across his chest with Danielle holding his right hand, but in shots facing down towards Auguste, his right arm is outstretched on the ground, up near his head. Additionally, in the same shots Danielle goes back and forth from leaning her left hand on the ground at her side, to having her left hand in front of her, on her father's chest. (00:10:20)
