Other mistake: At the scrapyard with the man who was nearly crushed in the car, when Roy takes his BP the stethoscope chestpiece is on the man's arm in the wide shot, but in the closeup the chestpiece hangs in mid-air not actually touching the man's arm, yet Roy continues to read the BP.

Continuity mistake: While Johnny and Roy are with Dixie at the nurses' station, when Johnny looks for his paycheck in his shirt pockets, his right pocket's flap stays wonky, part in/part out in the closeup, but in the wide shot it's properly flat, then crooked, then straight again. Additionally, after Johnny finds the check in his wallet, he puts it into his left shirt pocket and points at Roy with his empty right hand, but when Early walks over Johnny has that check in right hand.

Continuity mistake: After Squad 51 is dispatched to the 'injured man', when Roy and Johnny get out of the squad, Roy is not wearing his watch as they're walking to the victim while getting hounded by the dog, but in the next shot the watch is back on Roy's wrist as the dog chews on his pants.

Revealing mistake: When John and Roy reach the man lying near the pool with a back injury, while Thadeus keeps gnawing and grabbing at Roy's pant leg, we see the extra material that Roy has under the pants (over his socks) to prevent the dog from accidentally harming his legs.

Continuity mistake: While Roy and Johnny are with the back injury victim, his dog, Thadeus, runs off with the BP cuff, and when Roy chases him and falls into the pool, Roy's now wearing the water-type shoes, note the flat sole. Then when he and Johnny leave, the uniform shoes are back.

Visible crew/equipment: At the scene of the scaffold accident on the side of the building, near the top of the crane, there is a small covered booth that hangs from the crane. We can see the reflection of the hidden second cameraman and his camera in the mirrored windows of the building, as he leans in and out of that booth to film some of the footage we see during this scene.

Continuity mistake: After Dixie has the talk with Molly about using 51 as a crutch, it cuts to the shots at the movie studio with stunt drivers being chased, and the passenger who has his head out the car window is bareheaded, but in the closeup he's suddenly wearing a knit cap on his head.

Visible crew/equipment: When Station 51 is dispatched to an unknown type rescue, which turns out to be two people stuck on the side of a building, in the first shot of them the aerial camera tilts down and pans right to left, and as it does the reflection of the crane (supporting the camera) is visible on the building's glass siding, and the crane's outboard legs are also visible as the camera follows the squad into the lot.

Visible crew/equipment: After Early and Brackett do the tracheotomy, when Dix leaves treatment 4 and walks up the hallway, the outline of the mic transmitter and wire are visible on the back of her uniform top, and when she sees Johnny in the hallway, the outline of his mic transmitter is visible on the front of his shirt over his belt.

Revealing mistake: When they wheel the stretcher with the unconscious teenager from the school fire into treatment 3, the stretcher is pushed up against the ER's gurney, and when the teen's right arm gets caught between the stretcher and gurney, the supposedly unconscious teen moves his arm up out of the way. Then he lifts his left hand when the attendant removes the blanket.

Trivia: After Brackett asks Dix if she'd like to go to lunch, it cuts to a shot of Johnny balancing himself above Roy, between the engine and squad, while snapping Roy's picture, and when Johnny jumps down right beside Roy's head, Roy quickly flinches back and Johnny giggles an apology. Later, after Johnny snaps Captain Stanley's picture, Cap tells John, "You blinded me you twit," and when Johnny removes the camera from around his neck he smacks the camera right into Roy's face, and Johnny gently pats Roy's head. Visible crew/equipment: After Roy and John eat lunch with the sheriff and decide to head to the lake after lunch, when they both get into the squad car, we can see the reflection of the cameraman, who's wearing jeans and a dark shirt, in the wing mirror, as he walks closer to the car and bends down. We can also see the legs of another crew member standing behind him.

Revealing mistake: After rescuing the burn victim from The Boat's explosion, Johnny and Roy are at the back of the camper with the victim, while the victim's wife drives the camper to the clinic, but when they arrive at the clinic the camper hasn't even stopped yet, and we can see the woman's legs at the side of the camper, waiting for her cue to come rushing to the camper's rear door when her husband is brought out.
