Continuity mistake: During this episode Brackett is wearing a tie with white, light blue, and dark blue broad stripes, which should be tied in an identical manner in consecutive shots, but it's not. One example is when Brackett examines the tree surgeon, but when he waits in the hall with Morton and Dixie while Malcolm takes x-rays, Brackett's tie is tied differently, and when he walks back into the room the tie reverts back.

Continuity mistake: When Engine 8 is dispatched to "man unconscious at construction site," we see Engine 8 going past Curson Ave, then the next shot Engine 8 is driving up from the other direction of Curson Ave and passes it going the other way. Neither are flipped shots. Other than seeing the sign for Curson Ave, other giveaways are the same signs or parked vehicles.

Continuity mistake: When Roy's injured during the warehouse fire and is carried out, in the closeup he and Johnny are not wearing their turnouts, but in the next wide shot Johnny's suddenly wearing his turnout again as he contacts Rampart via Biophone.

Continuity mistake: When Johnny walks into the office to drop off the trash bin, he sees the Chief's clock on the wall and it reads 2:09, but when Johnny brings the clock to Captain Stanley and he gives it to Chet to hide, the clock's hands read 6:44. And when they're all dispatched, the timeout is 14:15.

Other mistake: When Squad 51 is dispatched to an 'unknown type rescue', as the squad rolls out we can see the Crown engine from the show's first two seasons parked in the apparatus bay, instead of 51's current Ward LaFrance.

Additionally, when Station 51 is dispatched to the structure fire the rear bay door closed, but when the rigs roll out the rear bay door is open.

Continuity mistake: After Johnny discovers that the white stuff he left cooking on the stove has turned green, Station 51 is dispatched to the structure fire, so everyone rolls on the call. When Johnny and Roy return, and Johnny decides to dump all the food he cooked, a large stock pot has mysteriously and conveniently appeared on the counter, where it did not exist when they left.

Other mistake: When Station 51 is dispatched to the landslide, the engine company get into their turnouts and roll out, but in the next exterior shot as the engine drives past the camera, not only are the guys not in their turnouts, it's too obvious that none are 51's guys, and the one in Chet's jumpseat even leans forward. Presumably they're 127's guys. Also the light bar on the squad and the rotating light on the truck are not on.

Other mistake: When Station 51 is on scene at the landslide, there's a dresser on the grass in front of the house, and when the explosion occurs due to the broken gas main, in the closeups as Johnny dives to the ground there's what looks like a can of gasoline (used for the stunt perhaps) atop that dresser that wasn't there before, and it's also not in the wide shots as Johnny dives down.

Visible crew/equipment: When Squad 51 is dispatched to the car on top of a roof, it cuts to John and Roy driving in the squad as John responds to dispatch, and the reflection of the filming vehicle is visible on the squad's surface.

Revealing mistake: While the squad and engine are en route to "possible fire", one of the camera angles is from the POV behind Roy and John, where the back of squad is located. That’s fine, but the problem is that there's bright sunlight on their backs as they’re driving, when it should not be there. Artistic license is acceptable, but with so much sunlight where it should not be it reveals that Squad 51 is not in its normal state.

Revealing mistake: Dixie and Brackett rush onto the elevator with a crash cart to go up to the third floor, for a possible MI in the dental clinic. The camera's POV is from the elevator, and in one continuous shot, without cutting away, we see the ER hallway through the open doors, then the doors close and in a few moments the doors open on the third floor. Even though the set has changed a bit, we can tell it's still the ER hallway by things such as the same scuff marks on the floor, and we can also catch a glimpse of the paramedic status board on the wall, where the base station room is located.

Other mistake: After Brackett tries unsuccessfully to get O'Brien on the line to ask about the fish tank, it cuts to an exterior shot of Station 51, and we hear the dispatcher say, "All units responding with Engine 3 cancel," but subtitles read, "Four units with Engine 3 cancelled." Revealing mistake: After Johnny joins Roy in the ambulance and the patient flatlines they continue to Rampart, and when Brackett asks 51 for a strip, if we look out the window that's beside Johnny, we can see GlamourTrams in the distance. And when Roy says, "Isopeterenol drip, 10-4," we can see GlamourTrams right outside the window. They are driving around Universal's lot while shooting the footage inside the ambulance.
